Dear all, I have lost my Canon Ixus 7 silver camera that is attached to a black pouch with a silver carabina today 23rd July 2011 at Sentosa along the route from Skyride queuing area to Sky Luge queuing area. I had reported the loss to the staffs within 15 minutes of the loss, before I took the luge. I am trying my luck here..If you are a staff there reading this, please do a favor and help me ask around. If any of the sgcarmart bros here happened to find my camera, please return back to me. It's a present from long lost contact friend and they have my memories inside. Thank you.

Found this set of keys at Hougang near 401 Kopithiam yesterday. I cant find any particulars in the thumbdrive to return to the owner. I have deposited it at Hougang Police Station. Bros/Sis who recognize these keys/owner please go claim it. Cheers raining

Hey guys, Just wanted to share an experience of mine. I was freaking robbed in broad daylight! It happened when I was in JB for my favourite bah kut teh lunch. As I couldn't find a parking lot in front of the shop (main road), I drove to the back lane to park my car next to a few others. After finishing up a sumptuos meal , whilst getting into the car but yet to close my door, a man claimed to have aids and a needle came to ask for money. He threathened to stab with me the needle if I do not give him the cash. Being a hot blooded person, I almost wanted to wrestle with him but seeing my gf was in the car too, I decided not to be silly. I gave that man RM50 when he wanted RM100. Luckily for me, I usually dont keep a lot of cash in my wallet and seeing that I dont have much, he went away after taking the money. It was a horrifying incident as far as my gf is concerned but I am so damn angry that I was robbed :angry: Anyway, I thought it would be informative to share this out with all. Moral of the story is 1. Try not to park in less traffic area even in broad day light 2. Scan through to see if there is/are any suspicious people hanging around 3. Be alert, dont let your guard down and always be ready 4. Never place too much cash in your wallet (in case he insisted to see your wallet) 5. Always have a "weapon" stored near your sit. Usually in the form of steering wheel lock. Just in case. But if RM50 can solve the matter, dont attempt to fight. Be safe all. Cheers PS: I just thank God that RM50 solved the issue and we're still where we are now.

i was at grand plaza park hotel yesterday near peninsula yesterday morning to pick up a friend and was shocked with what i saw.... the area immediately outside peninsula shopping centre was absolutely covered in rubbish of all sorts..... from plastic wrappers to unfinished food to beer bottles. worse was the capitol car park.... every square inch was covered in garbage as far as the eye can see... i thought it had been turned into a garbage collection centre... you couldn't walk past it. my friend told me the area is a myanmar ft hangout at weekends. it really reminded me of slums of some 3rd world country.

Me and my wifey are on leave today and planning to roam arnd in the city area today. Therefore we have decided to deposit our car in the car park near town area and go on to our shopping spree in town area by communting in public transport. Anyone knows of any place to park the car arnd the town area during weekdays which are cheap and near to MRT station? Thanks

As above. Usually goto pup Thomson caltex for car wash. However interior of my car getting very dirty. Need to find someone who vacuum (wiping would be bonus) as well. Any reasonably priced ones out there? -
Anyone knows any good honest mechanics in the Alexandra/Bukit Merah area? That can diagnose engine issues, without charging the sky? Would be better if they do turbo cars.. :) Thanks!

This was taken from my MSCP this evening. This car was parked for 2 days in a row. I didnt walk to check the windscreen has summon not. So... i wrote him a note. There was certainly plenty of empty on the upper level but this driver chose to parked at the motorcycle lot, and blocking the red motorcycle. Damn bloody idiot!

I'm still not very familiar with the timing of jams and such, since I've not been driving for too long, but I know that at 530, which is pretty much the peak period, AYE is usually jammed until like kek sai like that. So what's the best way? PIE -> KPE? PIE->CTE->PIE again? Or should I just not bother since I'll be jammed like a fat boy's jam toast no matter what and just take AYE? Target is probably Tanjong Pagar, if you want a more definite location.

Hello guys... Am facing a frustrating problem here.....I've got this knocking sound on the left front side of my EP70 when driving (around the left axle area), the knocking sound usually comes when moving on moderately bumpy roads. This happened some 3-4 months ago untill it got unbearable, at first it was knocking sounds when travelling straight, then it just got unbearable when the knocking sound would happen even when I turn steer left (yes, only when i steer left, no sound when steer right). I didn't plan on repairing it because she's due to scrap in 2013, but it just got unbearable and for safety concerns as well, I decided to get it looked at. 3 weeks ago, went to my mech, was advised that ball joint bearing worn out badly, he also recommended a change of suspension and suspension mounting. Thinking that its left with 3 years, ok la, do it lor since the price quoted was reasonable for my understanding and that my existing suspension was already quite chui, use 4 fingers can push the car down easily .. Ok, I paid $340 for the following: 1) 2 x ball joint bearing 2) 2 x front suspension 3) 2 x suspension mounting 4) 2 x suspension cover 5) Labour charges After repairing, the knocking sound is still there!...went back and got my wheels aligned, and the sound is still there! Wha, really damn sian to keep going back to the mech every weekend. Well..I'm planning for a trip down to Saber on Hari Raya Eve...for now, any EP70/80 brothers encountered this problem before? As above, i intend to drive to work this coming thursday as i have some night program going on. Is there any reasonable parking in CBD where i can park from 9am to 6pm? I worked in OMB btw. I don't mind open air carpark too.. just gonna tear many coupons.

Raining pretty heavily in city area. My location is on the edge of Orchard Rd... looking out and visibility is so low that i cannot see buildings in Orchard. Have you shifted your car to higher carparks?
