  3. Hi All, Need your opinion on something. I signed a sales agreement but there was a major feature missing. I spoke to my SA and we managed to iron things out. I was offered a chance to either top up for that option at dealer cost and indent the car (3-4 mths wait) or I could get my money back now. This is a guaranteed Coe with rebate is at 57K. We currently have a really old car to drive that's still alright so getting around isn't a big issue. Would you guys take the current price + top up and hope for a lower Coe come Nov -Dec. The top end is capped and there maybe quite a bit of downside. Or just take back the deposit and wait... I really like the car. But this experience has kinda soured my experience. I'm not angry but a bit upset with the way things have turned. What are you views? Cheers J

  10. And so I came across a friend's post on Facebook this morning about how he managed to retrieve his mum's mobile phone from someone who took it (whether she misplaced it or what is not the main point, the main point is that he managed to get it back from the person who took it and I'm sure not many of us are that lucky). I personally had my own mobile phone, a iPhone 3GS stolen from me at Parkway Parade many years back. I made a police report, had CCTV footage to back me up but nothing was done. And oh, it was a job done by two guys from China. Ok back to the main topic. I'm sharing it here for awareness as many of us know we can track our phone but have no idea what app to use or how to go about doing it and since he is unable to start a new thread as he hasn't clocked 25 posts, I'll do it for him. Here is his encounter. @y2kjericho86 if you are able to reply, do share with us, or anyone knows of other apps that can help, please share with us too.

  12. Looks like we gotta go back to good ol days of using leaves. FairPrice says there is no shortage of toilet rolls, tissues and kitchen towels, and that normal delivery has resumed for most stores as of Monday. PHOTOS Shelves at NTUC FairPrice at Buona Vista (Photo: Peter Goh from Facebook) ENLARGE CAPTION SINGAPORE: Shoppers at NTUC FairPrice had a potentially messy situation on their hands last week, when several outlets ran out of toilet rolls, facial tissues and kitchen towels. A few FairPrice customers posted pictures of empty shelves on social media. FairPrice erected signs in affected stores informing shoppers that there was a "temporary shortage" because of a "delivery issue". A spokesperson told Channel NewsAsia on Tuesday (Oct 28) that an internal delivery glitch caused several stores to receive limited and intermittent stock from its distribution centre since the middle of last week. Normal delivery has resumed for most of its stores as of Monday, the spokesperson said. “We would like to assure customers that there is no shortage in the supply of these products,” FairPrice added. "We apologise for any inconvenience caused." - CNA/ek

I ordered A twice, with different size for 2 seperate orders & the merchant delivered B... So now I'm supposed to ship the item back to USA.. other than Singpost, any other postal service to use that comes with tracking and insurance? Each item about USD140 value. 20. Planning a road trip from Syndey to Melbourne this coming June. High level plan is as follows: - touch down at Syndey, rent a MPV there (since we have 2 families with kids); - spend 2~3 days around Syndey, including Blue Mountain national park; - drive to Melbourne via the coastal route (or the inland route, haven't really decided as unsure about pros & cons); - Spend 2~3 days around Melbourne and Phillips Island; - drive through the Great Ocean Road and back to Melbourne - fly back to Syndey from Melbourne or drive via the other route (e.g. if coastal route from Syndey to Melbourne, then inland route back, and vice versa) Total duration is 9 days. A few questions that I appreciate suggestion/comments from any bros: 1) if I drive down the coastal route from Syndey to Melbourne, is it still worth driving through the Great Ocean road? Scenery wise it will be similiar I guess? 2) Which route, coastal or inland, is more interesting between Syndey and Melbourne? 3) Is there any place along the way that can't be missed? Thanks for any feedback.

  23. Yo, Today I got a problem with the ride Ride is honda. 7 yrs old. CVTF gear. 100km mileage. Last servicing was in Dec 2013. New Iridium sparks changed. Usual EO used. New air filter changed. First, I feel that car doesn't accelerate as much as normal. Hit 80km/h or so, the car doesn't feel the power to go higher speed. Something holding back the car. Then when I had to stop the car and wait for someone, I put gear to N and pull hand brake. After 1 min, the engine died! It just died..... I can restart the engine without problem. The idling is not stable, and I feel the engine is weak. I suspect its ignition coil? I thought it might be the fuel filter, but I change it 30k km before. And I don't pump MY petrol. Any advice?
