hi guys, i'll be going to Bangkok in Aug for 3 days & thought that it'll be a good idea to tailor make a suit, pants & some shirts for my wedding dinner. I've heard that the quality is not bad & prices even better! Has anyone tailor made a suit in Bangkok before & do u have any tailors to recommend? Your comments are most appreciated

As the flood is happening at thailand now, but is it affecting bangkok? is it still save to go? quite amazed by what i saw in bangkok, although i'm sure many already know. they double-park along roadside and leave their cars in neutral with handbrake disengaged. the attendants/TP there will push the cars to allow those inside to move out. if this is practised in other places, perhaps gone in 60 seconds.

My wife is going to Bangkok with her friend for 4 days. I am quite concern over her safety as it will be a 2 girls trip there. Can anyone advise what "weapon" can i get for her and where can i get it so that at least i know she will have something to protect herself should **touchwood** anything happen. Thought of getting a knife but i don't want her end up cutting herself as she likes to throw everything in a bag. She can be quite a blur-c--k. Thanks

He says Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family. The Web site of the newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room and is believed to have committed suicide.
