Police said that they were alerted around 6pm yesterday, and are investigating. About 20 police officers combed the area, which is just opposite the National University of Singapore, before emerging with the remains in a white bag close to midnight. Mr Ang Chee Peng, 26, was doing what he loved most on Thursday night. He was riding along Upper East Coast Road when he was involved in an accident with a car. The driver of the car was making a U-turn towards East Coast Road to pick up his wife and daughter at a bus stop at the time, reported Shin Min Daily News. Mr Ang was flung from his sports motorbike and ended up pinned under the car. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call at 8.38pm and dispatched two fire engines, two fire bikes, an ambulance and two support vehicles to the scene. When the SCDF officers arrived, Mr Ang, who had serious injuries, no longer had a pulse, the report said. He was still trapped under the car when paramedics pronounced him dead around 9.30pm. Some 20 officers took about an hour to extract the body from under the car. They used two airbags and a hydraulic spreader to lift the car to gain access to the body. The driver of the car, who is in his early 50s, has been arrested for causing death by a rash act and is out on bail. Mr Ang's motorbike skidded 50m from the accident site. His sports shoes were found 100m away, reported Shin Min Daily News. One of the headlights of the car fell off and part of the car's body was damaged, the report said. If the driver is making the U-turn along East Coast Road and the biker coming straight from upper east coast road...... he should be charged for manslaughter... it is illegal to U-turn! The body of a Malay man was found floating in the waters off Harbourfront Walk on Sunday afternoon. Police said they received a call about the incident at about 3.20pm. is it possible to buy a car with everything else except the engine? means let's say i wanna get this 520i. But what i need is the body, transmission, suspension, seats, aircon etc but i just dont need the engine. So paying 62k for it and throwing away the "2.2L Inline 6 Cylinder, 172bhp" engine is not very worth it right? What category should I be looking at? Scrap cars, or export cars? Or something else? Yes I know modding the engine is illegal etc, but that's not the topic because it's not what I'm going to do. I'm just hoping to find out where I should be looking at to get the car body and it's parts.

it happened to me twice liao... this stain on my car side window and body that looks like bird sh!t but it is not cause it leave a sticky residue that I can't even remove using WD-40. I have no *%@*$"*%@*$ idea where it comes from anyone got experience with this and know how to remove?

Any workshop in Singapore do Quad Throttle Body? Means I have to take out stock intake manifold and fix in quad throttle body custom made to my ride. I wish to retain EFI, so do not wish to convert to motorcycle (big 750cc or 1000cc motorbike) quad caburettor like what modders in other country do to their ride.

Hi pals, Yesterday one of lights in my car panel lighted up. Today the mechanic told me the throttle body is dirty and needs servicing. Just wondering how many km does your car go before the throttle body needs servicing. Mine just about hit the 30km mark. Does such servicing interfere with any part of the functions of the engine? If it doesn't I am thinking of bringing them to a neighbourhood workshop which should be cheaper. Also has the dirtiness of the throttle body got anything to do with the petrol we are using? Previously I heard from others that the lower the octane the dirtier the fuel. Previously i did use 95 octane before.....so i was wondering whether this has any impact.

Any knows how to remove completely? I use a polish den wax and it has faded a lot, but still visible. Then suddenly there's a small patch that's lighter in colour then rest of the body. Any ideas why? 1 month old pearl white. TIA. Erm.. maybe this is not the correct place to ask, can i move this thread myself or only the mods can do it?

Hi guys, We know that the 2nd hand car paper value can be calculated, but how do you determine a fair body value? I was looking at this 2nd hand car in sgmart.com where the dealer quoted 78k. But paper value is only 41k. So how do I justify the 37k body value? Thanks

NEA should consult soil engineering expert before making such kuku comment. As topic, I engaged a quite reputable polisher who provided doorstep service but due to the nearing of CNY they decided to make it the other way round meaning you have to go to their place. Well I'm fine with it, so i booked a slot with them and they were supposed to get back to me to confirm the bookings which they never did. I then took the initiative to call them and then ask whether my car is do-able since it has a body decal. The replied was "yes" . The day before my unconfirmed appointment, I got this sms from them saying "We can't do it for you because your car is full of decal". This is my first time attempting to get a polish for my car so I dunno any about it. So is this true ? Anyway my decal is those glossy type.

The U.S. government likes the idea because body scanners can detect concealed weapons better than traditional magnetometers. Hi all, I just got a new ride, ( Mit L200 Triton) and i got a set of rims 2nd hand and some nice tires. I got a good deal on the rims, love them and they look great. only bad thing now is that, their off set is -50 and even after i added fenders, it pops out around 2.5inches. car looks SUPER garang, but pple suggested I add a wide body. the truck itself looks awesome, just that i don wanna get pulled over for this. Now thing is, i already have a set of fenders for my ride, is it possible for any shop body kit shop to modify the fender to extend it out by around 2-2.5 inches? thanks in advance guys cheers!

Intending to remove my Body Kit, Front, Side and Back, Any forumer had any workshop to recommend? In term of value for money wise and also workmanship. Do not wish to return back to the old workshop where i install as their installation is real bad and i believe even if i ask them to help me to take out, will have problem too. Removing Body Kit, will i damage of the Paintwork or anything? I'm driving a 2009, Honda Civic. Thank you.

Hey mates im thinking of doing the about to crank even more bhp out so im thinking of either swapping the existing TB (not sure of diameter) with a 60mm/57mm TB or getting it bored out. This is on a W204 M271 engine so anyone has any idea of the possible gains?
