Kena an accident earlier just now. One guy who is executing a U-turn (with me following behind) suddenly stopped and reversed (OMG!) and bumped into my front bumper. he got a big dent while my bumper had scratches. Am considering either claim (any risk on my side? coz he can always turn around and said I bumped into his car instead) or agreeing to privately settle (the other party suggested one). Any advice? Anyone spray painted whole bumper before? How much typically? Thanks in advance!

Geez... sianz... my vios rear has been rear-ended, in my absence.. The right side of the bumper has dented in, quite a nasty one. A quick visual check with the metal chassis does not reveal any structural damage. The plastic cover for the right signal is broken though. However, the signals and even the reverse sensor are in good working condition. Apart from the bumper (right rear end), there is no visible damage at all. Can any kind soul advise me on the damage I should be looking at? I am not intending to replace the bumper. Is it possible to heat the bumper and push it back? :( Sorrie, I do not have the pixs at the moment. I will be uploading them tomorrow. Really appreciate the kind help and advice. I am looking at sending my car for repair on Monday...

wife drove the car accidentally just touch the bumper only of the taxi infront, even took pic that there wasn't even a dent in the back of the taxi! the claim for workshop is $1500, then when we submit the pic to our motor insurer, the claim reduce to 500. But what came as a shocker next was a 3rd party claim(the taxi driver) of bodily injury of $7.2k wow lao, i mean the taaxi driver was ok lor, he even came down to talk and investigate and was alright. i think just becuase cannot claim workshop, he play punk and claim bodily harm, ok maybe he can fake back pain and get doctor certify. but really sianz... i was in the car with her and saw the whole incident..sianZ -
just got into a minor accident and damaged my front bumper.. based on the pictures, may i know what would be a reasonable rate of repair? also, any recommendations of workshops that operate beyond 8pm? thanks

Got hit lightly by a truck when the truck is reversing. Now front bumper got a 50 cent size dent with some paint chipped off. Anyone know is there a workshop that can repair such bumper dents without having to change the whole bumper?

Hi Guys (n Gals) , i got my car rear-ended by a hit n run couple days back.. yeah.. lousy CNY.. as i'm doing my own payments, which is much preferred? claim through own insurance or just bite the bullet n pay cash? Hi, My car was hit while parking in the MSCP. This is the second time, but this time on the left side of the front bumper. As shown in the attachment the scratches is above the bumper, any expert here can tell me what sort of vehicle can cause such a scratch? I though if the car park on the left side of my vehicle and wish to turn right, the scratches should be only on the left side of the bumper but strange it also appears on the top of the bumper and some scratches can also be found on the left front head light too. I am puzzle what kind of car hit into my vehicle. Thanks.

What is a typical time to fixed a new bumper? I have my latio rear ended last Wednesday. Today the workshop guy told me Thursday then ready, i.e. 1 weeks & 1day. My colleague told me his Lancer to only 4 days. I'm abit paranoid now, as to why they need more time.. Worried they may replace some stock parts Should have let Tan Chong fixed and claim own insurance. sigh..

I was reversing into an isolated lot at the top of a MSCP at Ghim Moh. I noticed a lamp pole that had its bottom 3 feet encased in concrete located within the boundary of the lot. I took special care in reversing and was solely dependent on the reverse sensor to tell me when to halt. And so the beeping begin, and even as I near the concrete pillar the beeping frequency didn't change. All these while the beeper has been accurate, but this time, it failed me. The long continuous beep didn't come. Instead, there was a sickening crunch, when my bumper contacted the flat faced concrete that protects the lamp pole. I came out to examine the wound and found 2 surface gash, and one small gourge - all black marks contrast against my pearl white bumper. I had a few remedies in mind, but not sure which works best: 1) get it puttied and resprayed 2) get touch up paint and touch up the gash and gourge 3) stick a piece of white sticker over the area 4) use those black rubber bumper guard and stick over the marks Anybody tried any of these?

Hi, Had the bad luck of reversing into a wall (yeah, careless me). Wall is the 'textured' type with lots of little 'pebbles' embedded to it and that left little marks on my bumper and back of my trunk. Any ballpark on how much it would cost to sand/patch the bumper and spray paint in SG vs JB (eg. Keen Spray painting in Permas Jaya)? Anyone has got the tel for Keen? Thanks.

As in the subject, where to get it done at a reasonable price with good worksmanship? The car involved is a Subaru R2. Preferably a workshop in the east that opens on Saturday. Thank you. To avoid more questions and extra advices, I shall let it be known first that my friend's car was not rear-ended by another vehicle. PS: I think the tips and resources folder needs to be updated.

Hi, Recently send spray-shop to spray paint my bumper due to some scratches and stone chips...although its the same colour code,but looking at angle,the colour did not match,the original colour from other part is more shiny. Should i go back to respray? or leave it and wax or polish?

Hi bros, I have installed a aftermarket exo and do not have body kit. Thus, the exo is positioned just below the orig bumper. I want to cut a "slight semi circle"-shaped lobang on the rear bumper just above the exo so that I can shift the exo upwards. Anyone can recommend workshop that has proper tool to cut bumper? Thanks!!!!
