My beloved 2 yr old blue honda city was a victim of a hit and run today parked my car at my house carpark last nite then when i wanted to use the car today to go to work, noticed a big dent at the FRONT bumper. The headlight not affected. Asked for nearby witnesses, no one saw anything. Need advice on where to repair. and also, if any advice anyone can give to nab this S.O.B who whack my car? and at the very very small chance if the culprit happens to be reading this thread and feel guilty, pls pm me.

jus got my reverse sensors installed this morning at "Specialist Audio" in Alexandra Village. total 4 sensors along the strip. picture taken from my pda phone, sorry for the lousy picture quality. Many Thanks to skodasales aka jason.

Mistake: Is it possible to remove bumper guards?

sunday afternoon damn suei... my front bumper kena bang by the rear bumper of the vios in front. this guy in front is heads on with another on-coming car. so they stuck head to head. he tryin to reverse to give way to the car. but he nv check his rear. bloody hell i horn all the way when he reverse yet he still bang onto my front right bumper. came out of car to check. my bumper paint cracked and peeled off. damn sian. reached hm then discover tat my right signal light sometimes got light sometimes no light. inform him and yet he still dare to say i on the spot nv say. only reach home then inform him. makes me damn piss off. after tat took his ic n number. he said he wants mi to go to his workshop to spray bk the bumper. its at ang mo kio. i told him i wanna go to somewhere near my hm. i stay telok blangah n wanna go alexandra. yet he kept insisting tat i go ang mo kio, as if like i tryin to chop him. yest on the phone i straight away told him if he this cannot tat cannot then i claim insurance liao. i still waste my time go to a workshop in alexandra to get a quote. $250 includes repsray of bumper and the side of car body above my front wheels as some paint also chips off. he complains exp and said his side oni 150. i told him tat i nv ask him to compensate mi a new bumper he lucky liao. but when i ask him got include both sides of car and the red color on my bumper netting, yet he dunno. kept insisting that i go his workshop and said can go from 10 am n will finish on 2 pm. told him straight that i workin during weekday, cant take time off. n y should i take my time off to fix something damage by him. so if this happens to your. hw will your do? the more i think the more i wan to claim his insurance. still say mine old car, y so exp. pls kindly advise....

hi guys. need some help here. i just came back from overseas and to my horror, i found my car bumper and the boot lid out of alignment. and also part of my bumper is liek " sticking out" at the sides. was too tired to snap pics last nite, will get some later. but last nite while checkin in the carpark, i could not find any dents or any signs that my car kena hit. could it be, cos when i was away, my dad sent it in for servicing, and since warranty was finishing the beginnin of august, we told C&C ( i drive mit lancer) to check the rear suspension and if anything wrong, change it out. aniway, dam sians man... come back then car like that.. would appreciate any help. thanks guys cheers -

Hi all, i had a knock on my altis bumper and as a result the bumper went into slight misalignment (i suppose the clip fell off) and the headlight has got some water trapped in it when it rains. Shall i go back to BM to fix this or a recommended workshop in Sg and how much will this cost if i were to fix this in BM and outside workshop. No touch up required as there are no scratches and only some tightenning of the bumper and remounting the headlight is required. Thanks!

bro, i scratched/knocked a suzuki swift bumper in car park on 2nd day of CNY. left a note for owner and she called back next day. she claimed that her brother said the bumper is coming off and needs to be replaced. question: anyone knows how much a suzuki bumper cost? thanks in advance.

My wife hit a Mazda 3 last Thur on AYE. The Mazda got a small dent next to the license plate. See pic. The owner wants to change the whole bumper at Mazda Motors and claim from my insurance. In the end, we settle for a private settlement at CAS to change the bumper. In addition, I agreed to compensate $50 for his taxi fare. The repair cost me $600. Do you think the owner is resonable? If claim my insurance, will my insurance allow him to change the bumper? What would you do if you encounter such driver? [inline IMAGE_028.jpg]

Hi all, Anybody can advise on this? Intend to add on a supersprint exhaust but not willing to have the exhaust tip below the bumper apron. Do not wish to sacrifice the rear parking height. Spb is too long not to park over the crub in certain carparks. Will be lowering ride as well (just an inch, not too much). Thinking about changing the lower lip of rear bumper or cut out to fit flat exhuast tip. Anyway workshop or customiser in sg? Lamy [inline supersprint.jpg]

Recently, I was driving behind a Honda Civic with very low side-skirts, front & rear bumper lip and the body was very low. I believe that young man was not concentrating on his driving and he suddenly applied emergency brake when he saw a road hump ahead. As I was behind him, I too applied on my brakes. The next moment, he discovered that his front bumper lip got stuck on the hump and can't move his car. Instead of reversing which will only affect the front bumper lip, he moved forward and I could hear the screeking sound of the side-skirts and the rear bumper lip against the hump. He then parked his car at the road side to look at the damages. After driving my car over the road hump and stopped behind his car, he was cursing and swearing away for not concentrating and the damages incurred. He then told me that he regretted spending so much money to make his car so sporty and lowering the suspension. He was so frustrated at that moment that he told me he has decided to bring the car to the workshop to dismantle all the bodyworks. As his car cannot move due to the damages affected the tyres and since I am an AAS member, I called AAS towing truck to tow his car to his workshop while I drove him along in my car. All the way from the spot that his car was damaged until I drove his to his workshop, he kept telling me "IF ONLY THIS AND THAT" and if he had listened to his parents' objections, such damages would not have occurred. He told me that he was worried on the amount for the repair costs and does not have the money. I advised him that what happened has already happened and if he has no money for the repairs, he has to be thick-skinned and approach his family members. This is a typical scenario where one has overdone the bodywork of the vehicle to the extent of compromising on the possible damages and consequences.
