  1. I cannot post in General Discussions, so here goes: Last week I filled up at SPC Upp East Coast and I noticed that the dispensed quantity is less than calculated (see attachment). Here's what I mean: Qty dispensed (as stated on receipt) 18.017 litres Amount paid $41.08 divided by price of fuel $2.23 = 18.42 litres Comments?
  2. A = wife B = husband A and B divorced. They had a 5 rm hdb. Both contribution is 50-50. B decided to sell the house to A at market price. If the house can be sold at 500k. And currently there is no more Outstanding loan from cpf. How is the repayment for A to B like?
  3. Hi Base on lta website, http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...omputation.html, anuone knows how is the "value" of the car determined?
  4. Yesterday, parked my car at Bugis from 2 plus till around 11pm. Parking charge came out to be close to $10. Before that I thot the charge will be based on the following calculation: 1. 2pm to 5pm = $1.20 x 3hrs = $3.60 2. 5pm to 11pm = $2.00 per entry 3. Total = $5.60. But I think the charge becomes: $1.2 x 8hrs. So it means the charges are calculated based on the time you drive in the car?
  5. Just wondering, how car dealers calculate the residue value of a car, for a 6 months old car and a 5 year old car. It is just based on ARF and COE? For eg, I believe the reg Fee and GST would to be lost by the 1st owner upon selling his car. Would the car company profit be lost as well, which seem to be the case whenever a car dealer buys from you. I know that ARF decreases every year. Broken down Total Cost of a New Car: OMV Custom Duty (25%OMV) GST 5% ARF (110%OMV) - decreases every year. Reg Fee COE - decreases every year. Car Company Profit
