  1. Just want to check with brothers here which CC gives discount with Shell, Caltex or Esso, thanks!
  2. Hi all, This happened to me for at least the last 3 refueling at Caltex pump (AMK Ave 3 and Ave 1) over the last 10 days. I set the pump at S$50 twice and just a while ago S$70, however, the pump filled it to 1 cent more each time. Do not know whether this has happened before but I took notice recently. The first time I let it be, thereafter I took issue with the kiosk and they relented. Can you imagine that there are thousands of cars, and they make one cent MORE each time you pump, which a breach of agreement, in my view !! Just take note whenever you pump your fuel.
  3. damn...as expected, local cartel will adjust it's pump price by this week....and this time Caltex is the one who start the ball rolling !!! http://www.caltex.com/pumpprices/default.aspx?country=6 other cartel still remain old pump price...do pump ASAP before they adjusted....
  4. anyone tried? got any limitation? like one time can exchange 100 points only...
  5. Anybody let them wash before. Last time they wash still ok . Morning i went to wash my car , found theyre service very bad . And i hear they fxxk each other W PRC . Next time i dont go there anymore. Very bad service not day. I stll have to came out and clean myself . That why i see now day not body going there. Anybody can intro which washing station is better ? I stay in AMK area.
  6. Last week, I receive a voucher from Shell thats contained 8 pieces of $3/- discount coupon for each week till end March for every refueling above $50/-. Stated also that if you use UOB card, a further 11% discount (inclusive of station discount) ........ Armed with the coupon and OUB card, went to refuel last Sat and was informed that my OUB card only entitle me to 3% discount + station discount of 5% (total 8%). To qualify for the 11%, I have to have the special UOB Ladies Card or their UOB Diamond card. My UOB Gold card is of no use for Shell see me no up ........ . When pumping at Caltex, one could use any OCBC card which will entitle you to the station discount of 5% plus 5% (total 10%) ....... If Shell wants to attach customers, why discriminate the types of cards. Be it Classic, Gold, Platinium ......etc..
  7. March 15, 2009 Return of cheapest grade petrol By Christopher Tan CALTEX has reintroduced 92-octane, the cheapest grade of petrol, at its pumps here in response to the economic downturn. This grade of petrol, which disappeared from its stations in 2000, is now back at the pumps at its Pasir Panjang, Bukit Merah and Alexandra stations. All 33 stations of the smallest oil company here will have it by March 24. Not only that, Caltex is pricing its 92-octane at $1.536 a litre before discount - 2.2 cents lower than its rivals, making it the cheapest petrol here.
  8. Heard from an actual user that this fuel additive works better than other similar products in cleaning out carbon and/or sludge from the engine, and will give noticeable difference after using. Any bros here used it? What's the price like? Thnx!
  9. Just to share... SAFRA members can now enjoy 12% off petrol at CALTEX. The additional 7% on top of the site discount (currently @5%) is available at 33 participating Caltex service stations. The offer is valid from 1st Jan 2009 to 31 Dec 2012. Simply present your valid SAFRA card to enjoy the discount.
  10. Sent my princess for a quick manual wash at Caltex Bukit Batok yesterday and boy, the car wash was packed like sardines in a can. Paid the usual S$7 and queued behind 2 taxis and a car. Went through the process like normal and came to the last stage of having the car wiped dry. Was reversing my car to an empty lot when suddenly "THUMP THUMP THUMP!!" followed by "Hoy!Hoy!". WTH! Looked into the rear view mirror, clear! Turn my head round and look, clear! Then what is it?? Got down my car and looked at the cleaning lady who was supposed to wipe my car dry. "Si mi tai chi? Ermm . . xiao jie, se mo shi?" I reverted to Chinese when I realised the lady was from China (pardon my Han Yu Pin Yin). I gestured to her, what's wrong. By now 10 to 12 pairs of eyes were staring in my direction. AND she said . . . guess what she said!! "Ni ho mian yo che" (There's a car behind you) I said "Where?? Where car??" She pointed proudly to a BMW parked 10 meters behind my car, 10 meters!! I shook my head and got into my car. OMG!! She spanked my princess on her butt. Previously they splashed petrol on my princess when pumping petrol, now this woman banged with her fist my car boot Good bye Caltex! I have had enough
  11. Received my NSMan magazine last night and saw that Safra members get 7% off petrol @ Caltex on top of the 5% on-site. Therefore, the effective discount rate is actually 11.65%. Now that is a good deal thru the whole of this year.
  12. This morning went to top up petrol at Caltex. Pump attendant triggered the pump even before he placed it into the tank. Left side and and back door got splashed with quite a bit of petrol. I had a couple of words with the pump attendant but he said it was no big deal. I insisted that he washed away the residue immediately and that's what he did but a bit casually though. Can any MCF brudders advise if this would damage the clear coat? Had polished with DG 105 just last week and hope this would lessen any "potential damage".
  13. Hi guys, saw the banner while driving pass a few stations selling at $399. Any bros here bought the Garmin from Caltex and know the specs? Got TTS? Bluetooth?
  14. Was surprised to see that there is 5% off when I made payments at Singpost. See attached receipt for terms and conditions.
  15. Just come to realized that Caltex now giving 1 point per litre of petrol pumped. No wonder I am getting a lot less points now than before. I've been on Caltex for years but now I am going to switch. For comparison sake; Caltex 1 pt per litre 1200 pts for $40 petrol voucher Esso 1 pt per $1.25 spent 750 pts for $30 instant petrol redemption Quite obvious which one better value.
  16. I was pumping petrol in Caltex station near the checkpoint in jb and while pumping, there was this man walking sneakily in the station. He was holding a "Rolex" watch and he asked me if he wanna buy that watch in bahasa indonesia.Though i don't understand a word of it, but i know he is from Indoesia, from his accent. I shook my head, but he kept bugging me till i finished pumping petrol, paid the petrol $$$ and i got into my car. He was so persistent till he even popped his head into my car when i was about to close the door, talking away....he then saw the change i had in my hand and he pointed at it and showed the eating gesture, meaning he want that $$$ in my hand to buy food to eat. To prevent further trouble, i gave him 2 ringgit but he refused!!!he wanted the 7ringgit i was holding in my hand!!!I gave all to him and drove off!!!what a piss off!!! To all bro and sis who support jb petrol stations, please be careful. Now there may be only one snooping aound caltex.Soon, more of these pple will appear cos its easy $$$ mah. They know we will give them $$$ to avoid trouble. I wonder if any of you have encountered such incidents, or is it that i am suay that day?
  17. Chevron Singapore Pte. Ltd., which markets the Caltex
  18. Just went to top-up petrol at Caltex, from 1 Nov their points system is $1.25 for 1 point. Think same as Shell now.
  19. What card is for ppl driving car? Is it the Thanks card or StarCard?
  20. Additional 5% off petrol and 2X Thanks! Loyalty Points at Caltex when you charge to any OCBC credit cards Promotion ends 19 Aug 2007

  23. U can buy it and add value there.. TnG card can be used to pay the RM2.60 at the 1st link and (dunno wad amt) at 2nd link. So it's useful even if u never smell NSH.. If u need to ask where this caltex is, you don't need the TnG card
  24. anyone pump caltex with hsbc ? 5% still on ?
