This gas station service staff are simply crap. I was there and wanna alight to get something from the convenient store but was trap behind a queue of car waiting to do wash. I didn't see them cos there was a van blocking so LL stuck there. I see they had cones in between the pumps and gesture to the pump attendant to help shift it so I can drive thru and get out and not be trap behind the queue. The attendant signal cannot so I wind down window to ask nicely and he snapped at me. I was like WTF. Move a cone doesn't kill u so why the fock u snap at me. So I alighted and go ask the foking pump manager why can't they help so he said ok. I ask that foker attendant why he needed to shout at me saying cannot then in front of the manager he diam diam. WTF. I wanna spend money in their store and kena a scolding for a small matter that they can help. If cannot shift then just tell me nicely la. I din know what kind of service training Caltex provides but pls look into this. One experience enough to leave an impression that all service staff from Caltex are the same. I drove away to the next pump and bought my stuff and was greet nicely by that station staff. Kudos to that pump just down from that Caltex.

I just notice different pump price on the same grade of petrol between Shell and Caltex. For example, from the Shell and Caltex website (at 4-Oct 3.50pm), the Shell 98 (before stn discount) is $1.880/l and Caltex is $1.955/l. I thought in Spore, the pump price are usually the same for all brand. If the different is true, who want to pump Caltex. Anybody to confirm the price difference?

Back then, I remember Caltex sells their PLatinum fuel at regular 98 prices. But now it cost alot more than other brand's 98 petrol. I wonder whats the big deal about the petrol? Whats so good about it? Btw, I am still pumping it right now solely because of the SAFRA 6% discount. I can't pump any other Caltex petrol because I need RON98. Btw, I am a farking poor peasant who don't even have a CC. Thus no petrol discount for me. SAFRA is my only discount.... -
I used to drive the old vios model, been using shell petrol since day 1. Averaging ~10km/l since morning peak traffic jam quite bad. No issue on that. One fine day, I decided to try out Caltex with all the hoo haa on its techron additive. Wow, seriously not bad, for that tank, I get around 14km/l. Anyway, changed to sylphy not long after and went back to shell since the new fuel save petrol just came out. Ok, not bad, averaging 11-12 km/l. Probably because dun feel like revving engine so early. After few tanks, went back to caltex again for the temptation of the techron. Next few tanks pretty much the same, 11-12km/l. Recently, I noticed that the FC dropped to ~10km/l. Went back shell again, and immediately get back ~ 11-12km/l. Is Shell 95 superior over Caltex 95 or it's just my imagination? Although it might just be a few dollars more every month buy anyone with similar experiences? cheers.

Hi, FYI. For those who pump at Caltex and using Safra Card for discount. The discount has being reduced from 12% to 11%. Went to pump on 03 May 2010, found out the discount has being reduced from the cashier. Safra web site still showing 12%, only confirmed upon calling the Safra Card hotline. No form of notice, even the web site is not updated. :angry: Regards.

Caltex just raise the pump price by 3cents today at 12pm. Maybe because World oil price now above US$85.

Wonder wads the truth. is caltex giving $3 or $5 coupons. prior to this they were giving $3 till 30 nov09. thereafter they continued again. i read from volkswagen forum that they are giving $5. however sat night in braddell's caltex the lao unker insisted that its $3. when i asked him for the physical coupon he refuses to hand me one. and from my understanding its a privately own station. but den again, shouldnt it be a island wide thing? so im confused. it $3 or $5?

i passed by yesterday and only did i realise that the whole caltex gas station was either being demolished or re built... the car wash station gone too...i still have many carwash coupons! anyone knows where the carwash shifted to? or they totally closed down?

Hope the driver is reading this. I was behind you at the car wash just now. You left the station at 7.30pm. It was bold of you to drive off without paying $3 for the car wash(if u didn't buy coupons). Just to let you know that there are video cameras installed at the vicinity and your car plate number got recorded down. I would urge you to go back and settle the payment privately, rather than wait for the police to knock on your door for $3. cheers...
