Hi guys, my car cant start this morning. i try to jump start also cannot, i think is not a batt problem and a starter problem. A passerby walk pass and kindly help me to check, he told me that the fuel is not reaching the engine. any brothers here got any idea what is means? anyway my car is manual and a coe car, and left it untouch for 2 days. thanks for helping..

... can one car install two HUs ? pardon me of the irrelevant subject ... got questions for fellow gurus here ... Original Intention: - new car comes with a Pioneer 2DIN touch screen DVD HU (AVHP4050DVD), and a dunno-what-brand roof mount monitor - new car comes with 4 spkrs - intend to install Pioneer 12 Disc changer (from previous car) to the DVD HU - intend to install Audison LRX4.3 amp (from previous car) to drive 4 spkrs - intend to install the Pioneer active sub (from previous car) that hides under car seat - intend to change new front spkrs to 2-way component Poison: - Friend's ride installed P80 running active setup - SQ improvement was superb IMO - Adore the active setup Question: - Can install Pioneer P8650 (from previous car) in new car to co-exist with the DVD HU ? - Hope to achieve active setup with P8650, while not losing the DVD HU. - Initial thoughts is to let DVD HU audio output goes into P8650 Aux-In. So that when I want audio, I can just use P8650. Workable or not huh ? Funny option hor But all the stuff are existing stuff, thus if can re-use them to get better SQ, yet can enjoy the DVD, then would be ideal ... No intention to buy additional sound processor or whatsoever .. Greatly appreciate any advice ... Many Thanks in advance ..

i'm just wondering with all the hassel and problems with cash cards, then some suggestions for using credit cards... why not just pay by giro monthly... the IU unit is so good, never fail to detect that u pass through gantry, issit so mush simpler to just consolidate a bill and send u every month to make payment? any commends on the pros and cons on this system?

Guys, I am having this problem when trying to load www.mycarforum.com on my IE 6, it will give me everytime an error message that says " "Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/. Operation aborted" Do anyone here know how to overcome this problem or there is really a link problem with this forum? Can anyone advise me, thanks. -
In life we all have some aims and goals. Like I want to save $1million before I turn 40, or have 3 childrens, or to tour Europe/USA before I die. My poll is asking, how many cars do you think you will own before you cannot drive anymore. Some in their 30s and can finally afford a car, and will buy a super reliable car to last 20years, and stop driving at 50s. Or some may follow the 10 years COE plan, and change car at every 8-10 years. Assuming start driving age is 25 and stop at 75, then maybe can own 5 or 6 cars. Some ki siao likes to change their cars very often, maybe already owned more than 10 different cars by age 40.

Hi, I dunno how come my new car headlamp plastic cover have water stain that could not be removed. Can I use Autosol to remove it or is there any other alternative polish it in order to remove the water stain? Please advise. Thanks!

What happen to the shouting match between one of the member here and a taxi? Issue was how a taxi stopped and drop its pax in the c/p blocking others from going through.

sian half... damn loan still owe bank a lot... my new fit idea gone with the wind... so now i left with my old sunny... 2.5 years old only actually... but wear and tear... the paint job quite bad laio... so me got this few item in plan with part of my bonus money... 1. Respray whole car (paint cannot make it laio) 2. New ICE (replacing my old cannot make it ice) 3. Steel brake hose and brake upgrade (old one very spongy and pad also there) Should i respray first or do up my ice first? was thinking doing up all the thing that i wan first then putting respraying last... so the new paint will not suffer been scratched at the workshop at the later upgrade... ?? Any comment?? -
In the Straits Times (22/11/2007) a reader wrote in the forum: "Best Denki salesman became upset when writer did not buy camera on the spot MY FAMILY and I recently went to Best Denki Compasspoint to buy a video camera. Though we did not ask, one salesman voluntarily came to us and explained the features of the cameras. There were different types of cameras, with prices ranging from $399 to $2,999. We were quite confused as to the range and could not make a decision to buy one on the spot. So we told the salesperson that we will think about it and return another time. The very next moment, the salesman turned angry and aggressive. He also became rude and disrespectful. I could only pity the salesman as he was very young, hardly in his teens and quite inexperienced. He could not take rejection. Obviously, he was angered at the loss of commission which he would have earned had we purchased the video camera. I blame the Best Denki management for not training the staff properly and prepare them for rejections and unsuccessful deals. They should tell the staff that every enquiry may not result in a sale on the spot, but that it may bear fruit at a later date. I wrote to Best Denki's public relations officer but has not received any reply. N. Nageswaran" Most salesmen are OK, not super but OK. On the other hand, it is also common to encounter salesmen/girls with no salesmanship at all.....in other words, bad salesmen,girls.

Just installed the Alpine 9887 with the Full Speed connector KCE-422i and bought the current iPod classic last week. Notice that while connected, the Full Speed cable is not charging the Classic (other than that, the Full Speed cable is sweet - control of the Classic from the 9887 is instantaneous). I have a third party wall charger for iPod Nano. That charger cannot charge the Classic as well. Seems that Apple has made changes to the Classic dock connector such that it's incompatible with chargers for previous generations iPod. Anyone experience the same? This is just WRONG. I put off upgrading my stock ICE for almost 2 years waiting for an aftermarket HU with decent sound and iPod connectivity quality. The Alpine 9887 fitted that bill, and now the Full Speed connector CANNOT charge the iPod .

I just changed a new job and they provide us with a open space parking area, as I'm new, I suay suay kena those lot without shade. Everyday during lunch time I had to waste 10-15mins to wait for the heat to cool down. The seat and steering wheel is like on fire. I did not install any v-cool or sun cool for my car, not too sure about those stuff. But I need some advice now, like does v cool really works at all? I have been hearing about them alot before. I will mostly install it for whatever cost.. as my current lot is free, I need to pay $25 for parking fee at non-staff parking lot everyday. so its worth it.

I heard from a friend whose father needs kidney dialysis. It seems that because he stay in condo (ie private), therefore cannot go to NKF for dialysis. So, now LL have to do for dialysis via private clinic. About $2,500 / mth. I am shocked leh... True or now?? Anybody knows?

I was slowing down to prepare to make a 3-point turn when I felt the car shutter(vibrate). Thenafter I realised that I cannot apply footbrake. The footbrake is like siezed, very tight. I gotta use handbrake. Care to enlighten. Thank You.

Expecting to collect my new ride next week. It will be complete with bodykit from TCM. But now headache those rims I like comes only with 5 bolt holes. As its more of a executive styling car i would prefer some chrome best in silver color rims. Furthermore my ride is in black color some chrome parts on the rims will make it standout. The original 195/65/15 looks so cartoon on such a big car. Check out some models in RM and Kyowa didn't manage to find the ones thats suitable with 4 bolt hole PCD 100. Can any of you guys suggest any other brands with the similar design below which I felt will look good on my new ride.

A group of Singaporeans staged a protest against the Japanese animation distributor Odex's demand for Internet Service Providers to disclose the identities of the "illegal downloaders". Eight young men and women set up a "People's Action Figures Party" at a corner at the Youth Park near Exeter Road last Saturday, 25 Aug 07. The protest consist of a display of toy action figures lined up carrying anti-Odex props & placards in a mock demonstration. As the protesters and their figurines arrived at the park, they were met by four riot police buses. sianz, my 8650 cannot eject disc when i pressed the eject button. its already out of warranty. can audio shops fix this problem? (any "escape" button i can use?) or do i have to carry-in to pioneer service centre to repair? wonder how much will be the repair costs

CA brought in the Roomster, which was sold in other parts of the world since June 2006 and CA brought it in for last year's motorshow. so....is the car available, yet? i think i hv someone looking for a easy to park car with huge trunk for a cello and i think the roomster would be good.
