  1. Incident happened 24th September when i was exiting carpark after just within 5 mins. https://youtu.be/5thc92cuKYI Was just moving out towards barrier behind a blue Taxi. Kept a sufficient 1.5 car distance from the taxi. After taxi exited, i proceed to move towards gantry (display was still showing "please slow down....." Just upon approaching the display showed "Parking fee $0.00 Thank you!" which i proceed to exit when barrier was raised after acknowledging my vehicle. Barrier dropped back half way while i was exiting. Contacted HDB, they referred me to Ramky which was their vendor. Ramky replied below Now facing a vendor that insistent i am wrong and their barrier didn't hit me (though video clearly can hear the barrier hitting quite hard on my vehicle).Damage on windscreen and side weather strip, the chassis pillar also looks misaligned.
  2. Of recent, my area the multi-storey carpark has more empty lots compared to yesteryears. As I usually come back home late at night, I fully comprehend the full strength of the cars parked. And no, this is definitely not Chinese new year period ppl drive out to Malaysia. Been noticing since couple months back. Any similar sightings at your carpark?
  3. Hi to who may concern. I recently hittied a car while reversing (with scratches on front bumper) and I was unable to write down my contacts details to the driver as I do not have any pens and paper with me. I want to do ask what should i do about it??? Im right now in fear and distraught, not sure what to do and hope to have a best course of action. Willing to pay for his car damages but hopefully he dun report to the police and my car rental company. But may i know if for ny case what should i do? Well im deeply sorry for the lost and i hope to settle it privately. As im penniless and having finical difficulty in every way. No full time job only doing uber as my part time. Please help me in this matter as to how to contact the driver. But may I ask if i can could pay for his repairs by monthly installment or something like that? As I dun earn a lot just by doing uber. But if he decided to claim against insurance is it by my car rental company? I know that Im in a deep shit. Since he can report to police on this case. But i would like to be off record to be on a clean shit to settle this between the driver and me.
  4. To the owner/driver of dark Toyota Camry, I witnessed and a video has captured in my in car camera, when a lorry reversed and ramp to your front left of the car. PM me if you need the footage. Time/Date/Venue as stated in subject.

  9. Wanbao reader snapped a photo of this 5 year boy who climbed onto a car and jumped up and down on the car's bonnet and roof. After that he climbed onto the rear of the lorry and played with the tools inside. Boy's parents are not around. The wanbao reader shouted at him to get down but he refused. Worried about the boy's safety, she alerted the police. So naughty this boy! http://news.omy.sg/News/Local-News/story20160314-413299
  10. As I was about to leave the car park at about 11pm just now, somebody approached me. He has just witnessed a car reversed into my stationary car and asked me to check the extent of damage to my car. He gave me the car plate of the car and is willing to be my witness. I would like to thank him for staying around to inform me about the incident though he has a family in tow and it was already very late. The damage is pretty minor, some scratches and a small dent to the front bumper. I would have let it go under normal circumstances, which I have done in the past after the other party apologised. To the driver of the vehicle, If I don't hear from you by tomorrow afternoon after my lunch. I am gonna make a police report.
  11. If cannot afford, dun drive!!! SINGAPORE: More motorists have been caught tampering with their parking coupons. And most of the offences are committed in housing estates. This is according to figures by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). The HDB caught 400 offenders last year, compared to an average of 150 between 2007 and 2011. The URA caught more than 1,500 offenders last year, compared to an average of 800 between 2007 and 2011. The authorities say tampering with coupons is tantamount to cheating. Those who are caught are liable to fines of between S$80 and S$300.

  14. Hi all, Will like to ask if any of you saw the tortoise soft toy in the attached pic. I bought a pair of them (total 4 tortoises) with one pair smaller than the other. It has been with us since I proposed to my current wife 10 years ago. Today during the struggle of getting my daughter out of her baby seat, my girl dropped the tortoise and my wife did not notice. Will appreciate if whoever picks it up is willing to return it to us. I know there are probably other toy tortoises out there but this one has sentimental value. Many thanks in advance.

  19. Went there in the evening. Parked at a corner lot near the escalator. An hour or so later, found my car with drops of whiteish liquid. Looked up and saw it was leaking at the ceiling. Didnt think much as there is no smell and thought it was just those dust mix with water thingy. When to a car wash and the stain is still there!!!!. OMG! Applied some quick detailing wax and the white spot is gone but a bird dropping kind of leftover stain still remains.
  20. Remember when the internet went bananas trying to find out the date of Cheryl’s birthday in a logic question? Here comes another one. Don’t worry, this is pretty simple, as long as you know how to think out of the box. (Photo: Mashable) The puzzle is meant for elementary school kids, who have to identify the number of a blocked parking lot spot in less than 20 seconds. In the question, six numbered parking spots are displayed, with one blocked from view by a parked car. With the numbers, 16, 06, 68, 88, and 98, it does prove to be quite a challenge. The answer is simple: Just flip the image over, and the answer will be right in front you, clear as day. (Photo: Mashable) This puzzle appeared in a Hong Kong elementary school first grade student admissions test, and was circulated on Chinese social media platform, Sina Weibo. According to The Guardian, the puzzle was in fact created by British puzzle inventor David Bodycombe, who came up with the question when he was in a car park in Portugal. It was also published in a 2002 IQ puzzle book for Marks & Spencer. ========================================================================== It is L8 rite?? Cant be 87...

See you guys there, old and new. Actually, I don't think I'll be able to make it due to work commitments, but the regular guys should still be there.
