  1. Hi guys ... Is it possible to swap a non multi function steering wheel to one with multi function type.. from this type of steering wheel : http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=735685&DL=1000 to use this type of steering wheel https://www.ebay.com/itm/232115494956?ul_noapp=true
  2. MY current situation is abit complicated. So I just want to know if the options I'm considering is it feasible. Due to personal issue, I need to change my current car, which is quite new. Problem is I don't want to fork out too much for the new, so I'm considering a downgrade. Current drive, Honda Vezel 1.5X petrol. Less than 3 years old. Out standing loan around 30k. Market valuation is 64 to 69K. Wish to change to either New Kia K3 at 73,999 or 2nd hand MPV of similar value (E.g Wish, Sienta, Etc). Main issue is because I need to change ownership of current car, and can't change unless loan is settle. So only way is to change the car to clear current loan, and get another new loan. Is this move feasible in terms of monetary means. How much do I tend to lose from doing such move?

  4. I made my trip last week to JB to change my set of tyres Michelin 195/65R15 XM2 4pcs Made in Thailand 2016 tyres at RM240 per piece. The tyre performance was really great and I got saving of atleast RM500 as compare to changing to Singapore (Saving from Tyres & Petrol). The cheapest price I could get in Singapore for this particular tyre was S$120/piece, and thus the discount is at least 50% as compared to changing tyres in JB. You guys can check it out this seller at Carousel @ https://carousell.com/p/66822027/. The service was great and I enjoyed a good Bak Kut Teh at Taman Sentosa

  14. If your are selling your car which is left with less than 1 year COE, the agent will usually take the car at paper value. If you are scrapping it yourself, you might get about $100 extra for the body value. If the car is relatively good, I am willing to buy over for personal use. I will pay you the paper value, plus the remaining road tax, plus a few hundred dollars - definitely slightly more if you sell to an agent or scrap yourself. I can do the transfer of the car from your name to my name. This will be a WIN WIN for both parties. If you are interested, please PM me details. Im not keen on cars that has more than 1 year COE left or less than 3 months COE left. Thank you.

  16. Today i notice only one of the fans are working when down to the workshop to check. mechanic say one of the fan motor spoiled and ask me to change 2 motors as the other one will spoiled soon.i told him to just changed the one that is spoiled . was quoted 180 for a aftermarket motor. strange the other one not spoil ask me change also. while changing it they also removed the radiator pipe connect to the engine. after changing, they top up abit of toyota premixed coolant into the radiator and reserve tank . i saw the radiator and tank was filled to the brim. after 1 hrs drive back home due to traffic jam. i pop the bonnet to check on the fans if they are working. I noticed the radiator reserve tank was empty!!! i wanted to check my radiator but the engine was still hot and dangerous to open . so i decided tomorrow morning when it is cold i will check my radiator. 1st question : can i top up my reserve tank with tap water? 2nd question: i wonder how come the radiator was full and the mechanic top up abit of premised coolant but when i reached home the reserve tank empty. any advice bros

  18. Hi Guys, any idea what's the usual warranty period for new alternator? Shell service centre says they give only 1 month warranty... Is it industry practice?
  19. ...is a no no. If your workshop is still doing this, you are well advised to find another. And the reason is something called "Load Dump" Depending on certain conditions, a high voltage of up to 120V can be sent to your ECU. If it survived, you're lucky. If it's crippled or dead, oh well.. According to wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Load_dump In automotive electronics, it refers to the disconnection of the vehicle battery from the alternator while the battery is being charged. Due to such a disconnection of the battery, other loads connected to the alternator see a surge in power line. The peak voltage of this surge may be as high as 120 V and the surge may take up to 400 ms to decay.
