car talk aside... If I wanted just to change my living hall area floor tiles, do I need to go through an ID firm to do it, or can I just walk in to those shop selling tiles and they have ready tile laying contractor to do it?

My car is idling lean after I replace my spark plugs and I am not sure why though. Anyone faced such problems? I am using Autronic SM4 (open mode cause I don't have O2 sensor that is compatible with the SM4), Mallory promaster coil and Bosch IR Fusion plugs and Pviot Ignition VS. The car is idling at stoichiometric ratio. After I replace the plugs, A/F would go lean when car is idling. OK, I did mod the plugs by side gapping it and increase the gap to 0.88mm which is wider than factory gap. I have to increase my fuel a little balance things out. I am a little curious that why would changing plugs cause the car to idle lean? doesn't seems like misifing as well though as the car runs very smooth. Even better than the Bosch plugs.

hi all... a couple of ws i went to and asked... how much gear oil does my sunny need?... all didnt know... they just said top up till full... they also said no need change just top up... they say can 2-3 years also dont change just top up... some say 100k then change... any bros hear know any workshop experienced at changing manual gear box oil and whats the cost for regular gear oil? just wanna find out cause contridicting info i'm getting... thanks... Hey bros should i take Redline fully syn or Redline racing oil or Amsoil Dominator? I change oil every 5k and $$$ is not an issue... only consideration is performance...

Hi guys... my engine mountings kaput and i have to change new ones... But after i changed all 5 new engine mountings, the engine is so solid firm until i can feel vibrations and weird noises inside the car. Even my sunroof have rattling noise when i clutch in and move off. Anyone experience this? I cannot possible change back to old mountings right...?

Hi pple, Need your advice on kangoo here...WIll be changing my car to kangoo coupe(resale).... How is the FC? Erp charges like? 2 seaters only? I have a yr old daughter, able to put baby sit? if nt my wife gotta hold her infront or go public. Anymore thing to lookout for and the diff in driving a kangoo coupe vs a car.... the speed?? Handling?? SOrry for asking dumb questions but i really clueless....

Hi All, Am thinking of changing my bushings as ride feels uneven/noisy & sloppy. Anyone here changed their suspension & steering bushings B4? Has anyone tried those new nylon type bushings??? Any idea on the rough prices of both nylon & rubber types??? Thanks for any advice on above. -

Guys, Please help. I have a '04 E60. This is my current steering wheel and airbag. Now that I about bought this two items but they do not fit, at places that used to be flat, now the airbag has 'step', which is blocking me from mounting the airbag. Even the software is Version 7.2, newer than the 5.0 found on my original module Can I just buy a new mounting plate and just connect everything together? I also don't see any separate ground cable that other guy described in another post.

Hi bro, My OPC car is going to be 3 yrs old soon and my car plate is turning yellowish... I need a workshop to help me fix up my new red plate onto my vehicle. However, an application to break and reseal licence plate is need to apply from LTA. Therefore I want to know if any of you guys know of any workshop that can do that for me.. I was quote $120 for the job in a workshop at sin ming w/o number plate... which i felt is I already have my new number plate therefore no need to make, just need them to break, fix n reseal for me..

Fellow bros, my car fuel consumption goes up ever since i've changed tires... my previous tires were hankook while i've changed all 4 tires to perelli... does the increase in fuel consumption haf anything to do wif the new tires? or is there anything i need to take note of? pls enlighten mi... Btw. the tires that i've changed r all to the previous specs of my old tires... so there is no change of size in my new tires thanks

saw the picanto at 28888 nett. was thinking if i should sell away my 5.5yrs kangoo van for picanto. left 5.5k loan. sell away should cover the loan amount plus maybe 1-2K more. pros: new car with 3yrs warranty peace of mind since my kangoo a little nearly same price for road tax pay about the same for fuel running costs since picanto has better FC enter malaysia sits 5 ppl legally cons: lose lots of space behind less torque no more occassional free diesel from friend commit a new 7yrs loan of about $300/yr Should i just continue driving my kangoo till its EOL?

Hi all, I'm thkg of getting a second hand car from an friend (not dealer) as my first car will be used by wife and this car will be used by me since I work very early in morning. However, this car is a normal plate car and I want to change it to OPC. Is it possible? Say the price of the second hand car is $30k. Left 7 more years. What will be the final committed amount? Is it $18100? Will LTA approved of such conversion? Pls advise.

My method of lane changing, pls comment Ok after reading http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?showto...635942&st=0 , i have decided on this is how i am going to change lane in heavy , but not so slow traffic. I think the key is knowing how to play with my signal lights and not to confuse the other driver of my intention 1) initially, check for a gap using side mirror, NO SIGNAL 2) if got car quite far away at same speed relative to me.... SIGNAL if got car quite near at same speed relative to me....NO SIGNAL + me Slow down and let that car speed forward till he is in front if got no car, ..... SIGNAL If got car quite far away driving faster ... NO SIGNAL If got car quite near driving faster ... NO SIGNAL 3) for cases which I signal, i give 2 seconds for the car behind to take notice of me. 4) after 2 seconds i check the car behind on my side mirror again, if he speed up, I REMOVE SIGNAL and slow down and dont cut his lane if he maintain speed, i continue my signal signal and cut in, speed up and pay attention to the car in front, ensuring that i have enough gap if that car in front jam brake if he slow down, i continue my signal and cut in and speed up, and pay attention to the car in front , ensuring that i have enough gap if that car in front jam brake feel free to leave your comments, whether positive or negative.
