Hi I went down to the showroom and went for a testdrive on the new Cruze 1.4 turbo. Frankly, I was very impressed. My previous ride was a Ford Mondeo which I am scrapping. The low depreciation, very attractive pricing and overall ride is really tempting me. I have not owned a Chevrolet before and was wondering how is the service from Alpine Motors? Anybody can shed some light on this?

any1 driving Epica 2.0A here? any review. those i found are quite old might not be valid any more. about 86k (COE Cat B dropped 3.4k, so should go lower now), with 6AT and inline 6 engine. come with new facelift with DVD and not sure what else. any comments?

I am planning to service my Aveo outside. Anyone has any recommended workshop in the west area? My Aveo is 1 yr old and just completed 20k at Alpine and the damage was $129 (+own cxxxxxe oil at $30). Actually i was thinking to just take up the mineral package at Alpine and run up to 10k for next servicing to save some cost but maybe outside synthetic oil package is cheaper compare to Alpine. Saw the SPC servicing at $68 before and i even consider comfortdelgro group at Pandan. Hope to gather more info from bros here. Cheers.

Hello all, I bought a 2nd hand Chevrolet optra, mileage 70k, even if the dealer said timing belt had changed, but he couldn't provide the servicing record for this changes, to be safe i intend to do the servicing and change the timing belt, can anyone recommand an good WS for the servicing? I am surfing Chevrolet club, some members recommanded RDY in AMK, some recommanded Alpine Centre, but some members got very bad experience as bad experience with RDY Please give advice

Hi Gentlemen, Does anyone know if Optra's engine valve clearance need to be adjusted ? or is it auto adjusted by hydraulic ? Recently, during engine idling, I can hear a faint "tap tap" sound. Otherwise the car run smooth. Any advice from bro here?

There's something wondrous about the Vision Gran Turismo series of concepts that has let companies go wild with completely imaginary concepts for Gran Turismo. For Chevrolet's crack at the idea, it has taken a page out of its performance past with the Chaparral Can-Am racers of the '60s and '70s, with its designers having reinterpreted that period look for the future of motorsports as the Chaparral 2X. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufruRqSaVxk In real life, the 2X looks even better than in earlier photos. The design takes inspiration from someone in a flying suit with head down and arms outstretched, an influence you can really see that in the vehicle's shape. The driver lies facedown inside with the instruments projected onto a visor. Unfortunately, the powertrain here is a complete flight of fancy and works purely in the video game world. It imagines a laser propelled by lithium-ion batteries and an air-powered generation to make 900 horsepower. The 2X has a theoretical top speed of 385km/h and hits 100km/h in a lightning-quick 1.5 seconds. As you may have watched the TV spots on TV, MRT stations or even Youtube Ads, TF4 is coming to cinemas in 26th June. It's still directed by Michael Bay but have a whole new cast of characters. That's why, Mr Shia belouf is not in the movie....YIPEE!! The direction of the film is suppose to be darker, more serious and slapstick humor we found in the 1st trilogy will be reduced by alot. Micheal Bay wants to reinvent the movie to take on a different story arc, as if there is a story arc in the 1st trilogy. Basically they will introduce new enamy, a human organisation that specialised in killing and stealing Transformers technology. (Called "Machination" in the comic or "M.E.C.H." in the cartoon) The cast of the actors include Mark Wahlberg, the guy who did and "The departed" and "Lone Survivor" and a handful of not so famous actors. It'll be noted that this film is heavily supported by Chinese companies and a bulk of the movie takes place in China and Hong Kong. If you ask me, even as a long-time Transformers Fan, I'm skeptical on this 4th installation, and I have little faith in Michael Bay, esp after he butchered the original cartoon/concept to make way of these ugly spiky robots that made to the 1st trilogy. I will still catch the movie, cos I'm a long-time TF fan and it just seems wrong for a fan not to watch every media thrown to him. But I will not queue up in front of the threaters just to catch it first.
