Oh No! Honda relaunches last generation's City over in China

China seems to be where old and previous models go and get rebadged, rehashed or to live on. So the ugliest looking Honda ever made, the previous generation Honda City, gets previewed as the Li Nian S1 at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition recently. I may be harsh on this Honda but I could be harsher as I also think that it was the ugliest car sold in the last decade. Anyway, what was supposed to be a very nicely drawn (and displayed at the Beijing Motor Show) Erevus concept car (photo above) turns out to be the Honda City Tadpole rehashed to target first time fish, I mean buyers. Li Nian is a joint venture between Honda and Guangqi Honda Automobile. I suppose China has such a vast market that anything with a decent badge would be snapped up by its consumers. Hence the tadpole rises up from the ashes like a Phoenix, reborn. The car will come with a 1.3 and a 1.5 liter engine. The 1.5liter should be similar to the Honda City version sold here so performance figures should be similar. And I thought it was the last I -
Other than Kah Motor, any body knows of places that sells Honda City '09 (G5) Air filter and Aircon filter? I went Autobac and was quoted $70 for "original" air filter. For Air con filter, they are not too sure if it is the same as jazz, wanted to take mine out for comparison.

I'm still not very familiar with the timing of jams and such, since I've not been driving for too long, but I know that at 530, which is pretty much the peak period, AYE is usually jammed until like kek sai like that. So what's the best way? PIE -> KPE? PIE->CTE->PIE again? Or should I just not bother since I'll be jammed like a fat boy's jam toast no matter what and just take AYE? Target is probably Tanjong Pagar, if you want a more definite location.

Hi. Just asking what the FC you guys for a 2L car at around 90% city drive. Speed is just around 60most of the time. Lots of start-stop traffic. Hardly on expressway. Do you all get just around 8KM/L?

What do you guys think of the Honda City? Interested in cars around 70k budget. Seems to me it's the best value car for this price range. 19K+ OMV + ~30K COE and yet they are selling for 72900. Based on the above value, the basic cost will be 19k*2.27 + 30k = 73130 Does this mean that Kah Motor is making a lost by selling me the car at 72900? Recently watched both SEX in THE CITY I n II movie online and it totally change my views on refusing to buy tickets to watch it on cinema. Anyway in part I for those who has watched ,MIRANDA's husband confessed having sex with another woman once (for your info , the wife hasnt being mating out with him for the past 6 months!!!)and as a guy myself , I was like "Gosh is this son of the xxxx totally honest and we should give him an honesty award man..." thinking Miranda(wife) will actually kiss,hug and make up since the hubby is being totally honest as us guys know how much gals wanna men to be total honest. There is this saying "marriage is all about honesty stuff like that".... At the end of the day divorce ended the so called honesty ...... phew!!!!! HAD gotten me thinking.... In part II of SEX IN THE CITY movie....CARRIE(married) was went on a trip to the middle east with 3 of her best friends , had kissed her EX BF when she happened to meet him coincidently too confessed to her hubby (BIG) back home . *BEEEEP* honesty alarm sounded ....guy too took it really hush but at the end of the day made up and bought CARRIE(wife) a black diamond ring , so as to remind her that she is married. ....... HAD gotten me thinking again. Conclusion , in time when incidents happened , is it actually wise to confess to ur spouse especially when it concerns a third party of the opposite sex??? Maybe some of U may say "..well it all depends on how much U understand ur spouse to decide whether to lie..." My GF hated ppl to lie but of course doesnt means she herself dun. So for tat moment the scenes had me thinking for a while. SOmetimes it is much better keep thing under wraps to prevent the unpreventable or still it is better to be total honest about it ?????? Guys and Gals ...care to give me ur views on that????? [rolleyes]

those who always go to vivo, take note. When u going to leave the mscp, take out ur cashcard from ur IU first. wait till u cross over the ERP barrier on the level juz b4 the ramp then put ur card back in. juz now i was leaving vivo on the 6th story. when i passed the barrier, i was surprised a sum of money was deduced from my cashcard. when i reach the ground level erp barrier, the monitor cant scan my entry time. so i call the cp operator n say when exiting on 6th flr, the machine already deduce from my cash card hence now i have no more entry time. the operator juz say, sir not possible as the machine is not up yet, so no cash amount will be deduced. they later send a guy over to check what my prob. at this time, there alot of vehicles jammed up behind my car waiting to exit. again i explain to this guy what happen at the 6th flr gantry. he also say not possible as the machine is not up yet. from his looks, he was suspecting i dun wan to pay the cp fee. i lost my patience got out of my car n fark him saying loudly, this is ur mistake, not mine, dun farking waste my time. in the end he gt instruction to raise the barrier for me to exit. wonder if i m elite, will i be treated like that?

Some chinese FT joking say : We dont need to attack you , at this kind of birth rate , citizens become less and less and china FTs/ FWs will out number us eventually . You see 2.5M citizen vs 4M FTs/FWs in 2015 , what abt 50yrs now the road... ? 90% FTs/FWs liao A lot of top students now are also FTs , these will be our next generation leaders once they got citizenship. WOAH!!!!! kah motor service centre said that its likely that my tyres are not grippy resulting in my ABS kicking in often. so i need suggestions to change my tyres 15inch? any suggestions? am thinking of a budget of 125-150/piece? would like something grippy but not too noisy. thanks!

Bloody stupid self acclaim Eco Mall where they got so many tv at the mall showing how green they are but bloody hell went there the 2nd time already and the car park system really CMI! going into carpark gotta que for more than half hour even though the que was not that long and once pass the barrier and into the carpark there were quite a number of lots available and lots of empty reserve lots for hybrid cars and electric cars! NB reserve so many for what? Going out was the worse as i park at B4 and from there have to jam all the way untill level 1 as have to wait for the upper levels cars go out first and i estimate that took about almost 1 hr!!! and many ppl TL untill anyhow horn hundreds of vehicle stuck there for soo much time and churning out all those exhaust gases would have negate all those green stuffs they claim to have done rite? Really want to shoot the company and ppl who design the carpark system I think all those time spend waiting i rather go over the causeway and shop and eat and pump all at a better price!
