I have an issue with my exterior black plastic trim being stained by the front bonnet hinge grease (I suspect) that trickled down the side with the rainor car wash water. Overtime it formed this whitish unsightly stain that cannot be washed off using normal car shampoo. So I decided to try the Armorall Multigpurpose cleaner which removed about 90% of the problem.. But still qhite visible. Before: After: Before: After: Anyone have a better product(s) to recommend that can clean and protect the trim thoroughly?

Whether we can do it won’t be a question in April 2020, when the Public Hygiene Council (PHC) launches CleanSG Day, an initiative to encourage people “to take personal responsibility for the cleanliness of our common spaces”. For 1 day in that month, cleaners across Singapore will either get a lighter workload or a whole day off, while residents take over their jobs. The exact date is yet to be confirmed. Cleaners can rest while residents do their work According to an article by Eco-Business, next year will be the first time that CleanSG will occur nationwide, after trial runs in several districts. In Nee Soon, where the trial had run, professional cleaners left parts of the area uncleaned so residents had to do it themselves instead. MP Louis Ng observed that residents who did so learnt just how much waste we generate, and that Singapore is “a cleaned city rather than a clean city”. So giving cleaners a lighter workload or rest will hopefully encourage more residents island-wide to step up and learn the same lesson. Furthermore, the national initiative could be a way of showing our gratitude towards the cleaners who don’t get enough recognition for their tireless efforts. Individual responsibility to keep Singapore clean Though we may depend on cleaners to keep large areas of Singapore clean, smaller acts like picking up stray pieces of litter is something we can all try to do. After all, it doesn’t take much to simply throw rubbish into the bin. Dirty streets are surely an eyesore to everyone. We hope that the initiative will work out smoothly and that Singaporeans will do their parts to help on that day. -

Soft 99 cleaner & polish Luster Wax (blue tin). It stated 'Do not apply onto dark coloured and pearl & metallic car body'. My car colour is Alabaster Silver (NH-700M). Can it be used?

My wired doorbell stopped working, swapped batteries but couldn't work as well. Noticed some blue residue covering the battery holder terminal contacts. Cleared as much of it possible off with a toothpick but the doorbell still doesn't work. Any recommendation for household solvents/cleaners to clean these contacts? If not have to give up on the doorbell.

Didn't find any topic on this. Probably most car owners here changed rides every 5 yrs & below? Anyone tried? Brands included Sonax, Liqui Moly priced about 30+. Method of usage is remove all food / tissue / consumable, place can in front passenger / behind same, on engine, full blast recirc, aircon either off or coldest setting, break tab to release content from can, close door for 10-15mins, ventilate + wipe off residue if any. Today saw in Caltex mart Diax Diamond Deo at under 10 bucks. If it works like Sonax / LM, at this price can do at least 3x.

Looking for brake cleaner at Toh Guan area. Anyone came across which shop selling? Pls do not recomend engine degreaser/ carb cleaner as Im not sure it will attack piston seal or any rubber parts on the caliper.... Thanks.

Maybe this should go into Feedback & Suggestions, but I believe posting in Lite & Easy gets more attention. Ever since all those drama 2.5 years back, I decided to take a back seat and be a silent reader, but cannot hold back anymore to write something. The system has migrated from a Moderators govern to a more members govern by the means of the "Praise" and "Dislike" function. How many members understand and are actually doing this? People seem to be going after the praises, and getting mad at dislikes ( maybe most dislikes are personal). What I see is really hypocritical. After the admin came forward and made an announcement, people started to come in and agree this agree that, why did they not do anything about it earlier? There was a thread earlier before the admin spoke, how many actually went it to support? Surprising those who supported the all black avatar did not comment much or if any at all, they did it by "action". My respect to these members. Why is there a need for such a drama in the first place? yellow cards fly freely and "banned" was common 2.5 years ago, "banned" is still common now as I see it. Gearoil, 5052 posts, banned Darryn, 12817 posts, banned picanto, 12441 posts, banned comegetme, 258 posts, banned beside Gearoil, the rest were banned within the last month, how serious were their offends compare to those sex discussions? In my opinion, it seem like a case of, 'you are banned because I don't like you, and you are safe to do whatever you want as long as you are with me." Oh well, this may be my last post before I cannot log in anymore, so be it. lol Still, I want to do my part, and therefore I am going to continue with the "ALL BLACK AVATAR" here, leave the other thread out because the title did not spell as clearly. so it goes. maid jump down from 14 floor, cleaner rush over to catch her, he managed to catch the maid but the impact was so great that he broke his leg, unfortunately the maid didn't survive. I saw a Ultra sonic cleaner selling at $100++ at a hardware supermarket. Anyone use them before? Effective in cleaning dirt off jewelry, watches, small items?

Does anyone know where to buy DIY throttle body cleaner? I used to buy amsoil power foam from mx tr**ding, but they no longer sell amsoil product. I had checked at autobacs, they do not sell also. Brand can be any: STP, CRC, Volvoline, Voltronic E60... etc. Thanks.
