  5. Was refueling petrol at Esso kiosk this morning (once a week type) at Lor 2 Toa Payoh and browsing through at the kiosk and spotted this vacuum cleaner on offer at one corner. It is a dry & wet vacuum cleaner which pluck into the cig lighter socket, going at $13.90. I had been using this type of vacuum cleaner for the past 10 years (used until the box in crumble condition & the vacuum still working well) and it is super . The suction was very powerful and when I bought it, it was about $22/- 10 yrs ago and only dry vacuum. Now on offer is a dry & wet car vacuum cleaner which can also pumps up your rubber dinghy. Will drop by this evening again to grab one as after reaching office, regret for not getting it this morning.

  10. Hi all, I dun noe if I heard the news wrongly cos I was working away when the 7 pm Chinese news reported this a few days ago. Am putting this under this thread cos most cars use this kind of device to rid the car of foul smell. I heard the news reported that from 2010 onwards, US is going to stop/ban all local production of air-cleaners and/or Ionizers bcos they are found to be harmful to human health. A so-called scientist or something being interviewed said that since the negative ions were strong enuff to break down bacterias and harmful particles in the air, it could also be strong enuff to go into our lungs to break down our breathing mechanism and lung tissues in the long run Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks...

  20. Hi all MCfers, Manage to find one very good cleaner and conditioner. It is not 2 in 1.The cleaner is basically just to prep for the conditioner. It really clean the leather, you can see all the dirts starts coming out.The conditional is the best,30mins after applying,I can feel the leather becomes soft. The moment I get into my car,I notice the different.Warm kind of feeling...Great stuff..I dun have to send my car for leather restoration anymore I only recommend good stuff,if you find it lousy,we can forget about the brand. I have 2 samples with me,if interested, please drop by this Sunday detailing session..I am giving it for testing
  21. Meguiar's Cleaner Wax, does it do any good to act as a surface prep before the AIO?
  22. Hi all, decided to post this for benefit of the community. Was given this sample to try out and I diluted it 10x according to instructions and poured the mixture into a spray bottle. The procedure was simple. 1. Wipe with damp cloth 2. Spray some diluted 121 onto my MF towel and wipe all the vinyl, plastic and leather parts of the car. I pretty much got rid of every stain I could find on the car, even some white scuff marks caused by shoes were removed somehow. Dried bubble tea on my rear door speaker mesh was also removed. The smell was very refreshing, a bit like Dettol but not that strong until like 'hospital smell'. I liked the smell so it #121 was the LSP for leather seats. For plastics and vinyl, I added an additional coat of Armourall protectant. Due to my poor photography skills, most of the pics of the car interior are blurred or over exposed Here are a few anyway. Door [inline door1.JPG] Console [inline interior1.JPG] So I tested it on the sofa in my living room. Before & after (Left is before, right after) [inline sofa.JPG] Summary: Cleaning power is strong, leaves a nice smell and the dilution factor makes this product value for $. Some words of caution. 1. You can overdilute but don't underdilute, the cleaning power is strong. 2. From my own experience, don't spray product onto vinyl/plastic/leather. Might cause uneven spots. 3. Wring your towel often, unbelievable amount of crap I took off my sofa. You can't see the dirt till you wring it out. 4. Unless your sofa needs a huge makeover, not adviseable to use this product. Takes a lot of elbow grease Cheers
  23. Just bought a bottle of STP Fuel Injector Cleaner (black bottle). It says can treat up to 21 gallons of fuel and to pour whole bottle in.. My tank capacity is only 45 litre leh.. should I use half bottle instead?? If too concentrated will have problem??
