  1. Now that I caught your attention.....Give a FREE COE for every baby born, and I will waste no time to work OT tonight, and produce 2 babies next year Gift for Singaporean babies born next year to celebrate Golden Jubilee http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/singapore/story/coming-soon-gift-singaporean-babies-born-next-year-celebrate-golden-ju Every Singaporean child born next year will receive a special Jubilee Baby Gift to mark the 50th anniversary of the country's independence. The gift will be "a uniquely-Singaporean keepsake filled with practical yet symbolic items for our Golden Jubilee babies", said Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu, who oversees population issues, on Tuesday. Its exact contents will be up to Singaporeans to suggest. People with ideas are asked to send them to the National Population and Talent Division over the next seven weeks, until May 15. A five-member panel led by Families for Life council member Anita Fam will advise on the suitability of the suggestions. A list of the top ideas will be drawn up for people to vote and those with the most votes will be included in the gift set.

  10. Community Service Do take note that COE revenue (per bidding exercise) is at all time low since Jan 2015, and year on year, the total premium collected for the 1st half year is $1.75 bil (2018) vs $2.53 bil (2017) vs $2.32 bil (2016) vs $1.89 bil (2015). Even if we assume that 70% of the new car will need to pay VES surcharge of $10K in average, that would add "just" $289 mil to LTA revenue in the 1st half of this year (which bring the total tax collected to ~$2.04 bil). So I have every reason to suspect that some policy change might be announced in the next few months, in bid to turn the situation around (to boost government earning). Good Luck to all vested! Sorry for any inconvenience resulted. And last, I am attaching a trend chart (for the past 24 months bidding exercise, which I screen shot from sgcarmart.com) for evaluation purpose. 17. Starting the ball rolling since car show is around the corner, lets discuss and compare good deals (if any at all? ) or special offers. Will you buy new car at car show ? Considering the resilience COE price now , do you think there will really be good offer ? What will be considered as a good offer? $2k cheaper than current sales price?
