  4. C&C now offers the Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 in manual at S$48,988 (must take in house insurance and min loan of S$20K @ 2.88%). It comes in the traditional bench front seats. This is a serious contender to the Japan built Suzuki Swift 1.5 (S$50,500) and Thai assembled Toyota Yaris 1.5 (S$53,988). Given a choice, which would you choose?
  5. Was sending my car to C&C for servicing at Alexandra and noticed the nice Colt CZC coupe-cabriolet. Anyone else seen it too? Was wondering how's the safety feature like as I noticed there's no roll-over bar.
  6. Mondeo

    Mit. Colt

1.3l & 1.5l with lance INVECS III's CVT gearbox. bumped out 90bhp/12.3kgm & 98bhp/13.5kgm respectively. Power is quite small but 1.3 fuel consumption can go 20km/liter Rear looks like Honda FIt, front light looks like Puma & grill looks like Renault.
  7. Since the price of Colt Sports is almost the same here, which is better in terms of handling? Heard of the stiff and rather high suspension in the YRV, wonder if Colt is better off. But for 70k, can have a chance of driving a tc car......1.5 N.A. vs 1.3 TC
  8. Any comments about this car? Worth buying?
  9. Wondering if any experienced bros here can comment... Good BOV?

  12. Bought the Mitsubishi Colt Plus and got it just a week ago for the family. A good second car to drive around on those trips where you need four doors and a big boot to move things/people around. Bought it at a steal, and so far I still think i made a good buy though my wife and i do have a few peeves about it. Paid an extra $3,000 for ralliart kit, replace rear drum brakes with brake discs and other stuff that i can't remember... First most major problem we have with the car: Super Light Steering. I think the power steering is excessive. There's no weight or feedback in the steering completely. My PC gaming momo steering wheel is heavier and has more feedback that the Colt's steering. It's bad and dangerous. There's so little road-feel to the steering. And Second is the "button" feel pedals. The accelerator and brake feel like mere buttons. There's no distance between the pedals and the floor. Foot just "press" the acceleration and it's floored liao. Pedal leaves little room for braking too. It's a little easy to brake too hard, causing the car to jerk. Though we got used to it after just a day of cruising around. Third peeve is the HUGE A-pillar. If you're an inexperienced driver, you may miss an oncoming vehicle "hiding" in your left or right A-pillar (the "beam" that's next to your sideview mirror). The driver is seat in such a way that it's easy for him to be blocked nby the A-pillar. Not safe. Good thing my wife and i have experiences in quite a number of different cars to find it an adaptable problem. Wondering whether other Colt drivers feel the same way too. We've no complains about the lack of power or acceleration, since having paid a bargain basement price from C&C we don't expect super performance. Though I must say there are other 1.6litre cars out there that are quicker. We like its: fuel economy, spaciousness, cute looks and mp3/wma head unit. From the problems we've illustrated, you guys should be able to tell that my wife and i did not test-drive the car before buying it. Haha. Oh well, thought this type of car no need test drive one. But we still have no regrets. But we do have questions. Are there Colt drivers out there who have solutions to its "light steering"? Do u guys face the same problems with its huge A-Pillars?
  13. Hi all, Would like to know if given the above 2 cars for you to choose which 1 will you go for and why? If going for the Lancer Sports is slightly cheaper than colt ard 2k. Lancer Sport include everything but for the Colt is just very basic with only fabric seats nthin included at all.. I can't seems to make up my mind which 1 shld i go for.... TIA!!

  15. Hi folks, I'm using Blaupunkt Daytona Beach C34 (head unit) and IDC A 09 (changer). The disc changer is not able to play CDs. When I push the Play/ Pause buttom, it flashes ERR msg. But the CDs work fine on my home system. Now the CDs are stucked in the changer and cannot be ejected. Has this happened to anyone before? Anyone knows what happening?

  20. Hi guys, I am tempting to buy a Mit Colt 2003 model. but I am trying to get more reviews on this car and I realised so far, not much people commented on this car. Can any owners or previous owners help? Everyone tells me to get the Honda Jazz, but if I can't get that Jazz, Colt is my 2nd choice, so I am seeking for help! Pls reply asap. Thank you!
  21. Anyone currently driving or drove this car before? Any comments on the power, handling, fc and so on. Like to hear from you. Thanks.
  22. Hi there, After months of searching, I finally settled for a colt plus. Anyone out there with any idea on these areas: 1. What to look out for when collecting car?? (probably in 2 weeks time) 2. What interesting modifications to share? 3. Performance, comfort and driving such as sport mode, etc. Thanks for sharing, man!
  23. Hi guys... the colties seems very quiet lately cus i tried to browse back the past topics it seems so few. hehe anyway, here is my story... I am currently driving a 13 year-old NX coupe. I have been driving this car only for a year. Bought this coupe at an old car dealer. but there is this deal which i simply cannot resist. My wife came running to me after a phone call one day and relate to me that she have a colleague (working mum), she is quitting her job to be a homemaker and due to this reason, she is selling her 1 year old+ baby blue Colt. you know lah, accident free, timely maintainance blah blah blah... its SFC plate and she is letting go at $47K. pardon the jawdrop icon...but its quite an attractive price! (unless some experts here can advice me and bring me down from the clouds ) so after "reviewing" with my wife, my plan now is that i need to push that old nx coupe back to the dealer and lugi some amount of money. (i know it might not be worth at all...but my wife loves that Colt so much...and you know if thats wat the woman wants, THAT will be wat the woman wants...hehe. even god cant change that, let alone her husband ) I thought about trying to sell this NX coupe on the forum but it might be quite a hassle. but if anyone is interested...can give me a ring..we could work things out... my number is 97200125. Its a black NX coupe...not much modification but in very good condition. COE ends 02/2011. okok...lets not sidetracked... the point of my posting is that...is this colt worth my attention? anything i should look out for in a colt? (this must be a boring question to some :P but i have to know lah) thanks for reading...
  24. My sister drives this colt but hardly washes it. I think the last half @$$ed wash was about 2 months ago. Did the best I could in 4 hours. Wash, claybar, one coat polish, one coat sealant wax. Another coat coming up soon. Check out the pix.
