  1. I connect the wiring, correct and the 2 protection fuse is ok, never blow. But when on, totally no reaction from the amp. No LED light and no sound. Unless my power cable brakes in between, which is unlikely. I would like to ask, what is negative ground? I connected my battery's -ve termainal to the car body and all the ice's GND cable I just connect to any chasis screw I can find under the carpet. Is that considered a negative ground? Whats the difference between a negative ground and a zero ground?
  2. car battery dead at vivocity, I called Komoco helpline, $141.85 to come down and change the battery. I called my insurance (China Insurance) breakdown service agent - K Kim Hin, fast and efficient, only $90, why the difference of $50? Was thinking, when my car hit 40k and since its over 3yrs liao, shall i send outside for servicing instead of going back to Komoco? Thanks.

  4. Saw news lat nite that a Songyi Auto registered lorry was found with a Dead man lying inside. Apprently, the man is dead for a few hours and was discovered by a passerby whom tried to wake the man up since finding it suspicious to sleeping in the truck. Police have identified the Dead man to be the younger brother of the truck driver. I was thinking if the lorry driver is Songyi's boss which is the guy whom is sitting in front of the counter?

  7. U know U can't avoid it, it's too late, too dangerous to swerve out.... Small animals like stray mongrels, cats, lizards and mynahs tends to be knocked down very frequently almost to the tune of 100+ animals every 2 weeks. (NZ is about 5 Kangaroos a day on average) Have you knocked anything down before apart from that tree? (juz joking) I have accidentally murdered a mongrel once, felt very bad for weeks.... Felt even more worst when I realised I did not track back and clean up the mess... Come! Share your experience....

  9. Taken from F1 racing Live (dated 20/10/2004) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is finally dead after Bernie Ecclestone, the Formula One promoter, decided he could do nothing more to save the nation's biggest motor race, a newspaper said here Wednesday. Silverstone's inability to react to the fast pace of modern business means that it has lost out to one of the nations clamouring to climb on to the sports calendar of increasingly exotic locations, The Times newspaper said. It is thought that Ecclestone is negotiating terms for a new Grand Prix in the United States, it added. Ecclestone refused to be drawn on the venue, but said that he had to end the talks on Silverstone to guarantee the new event, for which promoters were ready and willing to meet his terms, the daily said. The decision will be a body-blow to the hundreds of thousands of Formula One enthusiasts in Britain who have been making Silverstone their motor racing Mecca for the past 54 years, it said. Ecclestone told The Times he finally had to give up attempts to save the race, after the longest talks of his reign as Formula Ones promoter, because he had a new offer on the table from a consortium that needs an answer immediately. "What could I do?" he said. "I have got an offer from another country who are looking to build a lovely venue and invest a lot of money in Formula One and they will pay the going rate. I have to give them a years notice to go ahead. If I miss that because I am still messing about with the BRDC, I would be keeping out a country that desperately wants to be in the Formula One World Championship." What started as an argument over price boiled down to what Ecclestone said was a series of nit-picking disputes with his terms, the newspaper said.
