Do I transfer the car ownership to him and he pays me cash ? Pls advice . Thanks

  18. I was watching a particular car selling for $88,000 many months ago and still not able to sell. COE increased and his price went up to $95,000. I think this used car dealer either not hard up for business or he is doing extremely well. Whenever news interview the car association spokesman, he looked very sad and urge garment to loosen the loan regulation. When COE is low, he talked very confidently and keep urging the public to buy cars before the COE go beyond the $50,000 mark. Never did he predict garment to tighten on the loan. My family affected by the regulations but come to think of it, it is good for everyone in the long run.
  19. http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=402162&DL=2011 Eurokars pre-owned must be out of their f**king mind. Who would want to buy a used Saab 9-5 at 168k? The reason why anyone would buy a used Saab is because the first owner would have made a loss of 50k. It's not as if this car commands the price tag of a BMW or Mercedes so I'm curious as to why it's priced so high. The most a used Saab should depreciate by is 6-7k per year because there is absolutely no body value for the car when the car is sold. It's a good car but it just ain't worth that kind of money.
  20. Hi all...does anyone know what happened to Spyder Auto Pte Ltd located at 99 Kaki Bukit Ave 1, Shun Li Industrial Park? My colleague bought a 2nd hand car from them in Dec last month then the car was not transferred to his name. The shop has shuttered down and the phone number is not in service anymore. He paid them all in cash upfront. The car he bought was still under another credit company which consigned a few cars to Spyder Auto Pte Ltd. The credit company also said they do not know what to do next as this was the first time it happened to them. Hope someone here can advise on Spyder Auto. Thanks.
  21. porsche anyone? guarantee buyback ... depreciation is even much lower than buy (aka hire purchase) but you must have $235K to park there first and collect it back 3 years later .... LOL
  22. Hi I have sold off my car to a dealer and handed over the car physically yesterday. I got with me now the sales and purchase agreement which states at what time I handed over the car, loan redemption amount, agreed price I am selling to them the car. They have already gotten hold of the pin from LTA for me to make the transfer. My IC is with me now. I have also with me the loan redemption amount from my finance company which the dealer had made a request 3 days ago on my behalf. The finance company said in the letter that payment has to be done by Wed, 12 noon. There is no topping up required on both ends. I am concerned that they do not make good the payment to the finance company by the stipulated date and time as I have heard horror stories before. What can I do or should I just wait? Please advice.
  23. Do you think there are unethical used car dealers who swap car parts out of trade-in cars that are very new? then resell the cars which then will have problems and recommend their workshop for repair.
