[WIKILEAKS] MOE does not encourage more students to get a higher education. Cheryl Chan, Assistant Director of the Planning Division at the Ministry of Education (MOE) wrote: the government does not plan to encourage more students to get a higher education. The university enrollment rate will continue to be maintained at 20-25 percent because the Singaporean labor market does not need everyone to get a four-year degree http://wikileaks.org/cable/2007/02/07SINGAPORE394.html

Planning to leave your baby with a nanny. Well, you will think twice after you see this next video. Or maybe you will just make this one a first question: which car do you drive? Date: 8/17/2011 17:00 hrs On the above date and time, the defendant (Keyona Davis DOB: 6/19/1988) was caring for an 8 month old child. The child was seated in a stroller and then placed in the rear bed section of a pickup truck. Davis sat in the bed of the truck with the child as the driver proceeded to travel through the streets of Daytona Beach. The vehicle was spotted by officers and traffic stop was initiated. The defendant was arrested and charged with child neglect. Check the video

Hey guys im cosidering buying a 2nd hand car in the future but im thinking. does it make sense to buy a 2nd hand car?? Assume im buying a BRAND NEW M3 at $394,800 with 90% loan over a period of 10 years. The monthly installment would be $3518 (1.88%interest) I am then able to drive the car for 10 years at $3518 installment for 10 years. However, if I buy a 2ND HAND 2010 M3 at $328,888 with 90% loan ($295999) over the remaining life of the car. The monthly installment would be $3204 (1.88% interest) I am then able to drive the car for 9 years with $3204/mth for 9 years. That doesnt make sense after you count that the car is USED and may have certain wear and tear parts that require changing. Can someone elighten me on this?

Below is the list of "Sports" car commonly found in Singapore road. Almost all the Japanese ones can't do 0-100 under 10 sec or above 200km/hr. As for Golf, the real "Sport" should be the R32 rather than this junior, despite fast but still entry level machine. What does the "Sport" tell you? To highlight that particular car model is NOT a Sports Car and Please don't handle like one? Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6A GLX Sports Mitsubishi Grandis 2.4A Sports Gear Mitsubishi Colt Plus 1.5A Sports Nissan Latio 1.5A Sports Premium Toyota Vios 1.5E A Sports Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1.5A GLS Sports Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6M Peugeot 207CC 1.6A Sport Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 Sport TSI Suzuki Ignis Sport 1.5M Volkswagen Golf 1.4A Sport TSI Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 Sport TSI

Suddenly everybody is testing the public transport standards. Raymond Lim wayang doing it. Chen Show Mao did it Lim Biow Chuan did it Now Tuck Yew did it. It's the latest craze... I shall stop driving and take the bus.............. not. http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...e_lui_tuck.html New Transport Minister leads by example: Lui Tuck Yew spotted riding public bus He's not just talking the talk, but also walking the walk. STOMPer Jocelyn spotted Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on a public bus today (May 24), and thinks it is "great for him to have started taking public transport so early in his new job". She says: "I think I saw the new Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on the bus today. "It's great for him to have started taking public transport so early in the new job!"

I DIY a ram air intake by remove my fog lamp and place an air duct there. Then build a box to house and open pod filter and and channel the air to the throttle body using a flexible 3" tube. It does help in improving my top speed by around 7KM/H (not bad if you consider my car is just 1.6L and just 110HP). Its not a big difference but its still noticeable and my throttle response has also improve. I guess the stock intake (despite have a K&N filter) is still too restrictive and too many bends which affects air flow speed. I don't know if the FC will change but I will monitor it.

Well....so I got to know this nice girl through a friend. She's awfully sweet and kind. The kind that would make a decent wife & gf: intelligent enough to have a decent conversation etc etc....and I like her. But...now the problem comes. I'm not much of a religion person..maybe go to the temple once awhile with my parents who are buddhist. But she has been a christian since the day she was born...and she's pretty into it. She helps out at a church's children choir every week too... Do you guys think I should continue dating her? Despite knowing that it will be a problem in the future? Her parents want a guy that is a christian for their daughter...and MY parents wants a daughter-in-law thats NOT a christian..... Funny how such things matter in our ADVANCED society.....sigh... comments?

say if i turbo charged my 2L to attain the same power as a 2.4L, will my 2L consume less fuel than a 2.4L if the driving patterns are the same? also if my 2L does 8km/l at 180km/h, if i added a bolt on turbo kit, will the car get better FC at 180km/h? and if i added a small turbo into my car, how much gain will i be able to get if i don't intend to change anything else? not that i intend to add a turbo into my car, but wondering if turbo technology can help improve FC
