Attempts to access the websites produced error messages saying their URLs could not be retrieved. The issue is due to an "internet access disruption" affecting all public healthcare clusters, said Synapxe, the national health tech agency. "Services requiring internet applications like websites, emails and the NUHS (National University Health System) contact centre are inaccessible," said the agency at about 1.45pm. It added that clinical services within the public healthcare network, such as access to patient records, remain accessible and unaffected. "We are currently working to resolve the issue and apologise for any inconvenience caused," said Synapxe, whose website was also inaccessible. The agency supports the operations of 46 public healthcare institutions, including acute hospitals and polyclinics, as well as around 1,400 community partners such as nursing homes and general practitioners. Singapore's public healthcare system is grouped into three clusters - SingHealth which runs hospitals and polyclinics in the east, the National Healthcare Group in the central region and NUHS in the west. The websites of Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital were among those affected. The website of the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) was also inaccessible. Websites of private hospitals, such as Mount Elizabeth Novena and Raffles Medical Group, appear to be unaffected. It said it had identified a recent change that “may be causing issues with send, receive, or e-mail search”, and was working to restore access to the service. As at 1.26pm, the tech giant said the issue mainly affected users located in the North American region. In an update at 3pm, Microsoft said those in other regions may also be impacted, due to affected infrastructure in North America. However, there has been gradual improvement for these users, and the company is carrying out targeted operations to restore service. The latest outage comes after a similar one on Jan 25, when users found themselves unable to access several Microsoft 365 services – with many of the affected apps being an integral part of operations for schools and businesses.

Tesla drivers say they have been locked out of their cars after an outage struck the carmaker's app. Dozens of owners posted on social media about seeing an error message on the mobile app that was preventing them from connecting to their vehicles. Tesla chief executive Elon Musk personally responded to one complaint from a driver in South Korea, saying on Twitter: "Checking." Mr Musk later said the app was coming back online. The Tesla app is used as a key by drivers to unlock and start their cars. Owners posted a multitude of complaints online about not being able to use their vehicles. Huge parts of internet currently offline A number of leading websites are currently not working, including Amazon, Reddit and Twitch. The UK government website - gov.uk - is also down as are the Financial Times, the Guardian and the New York Times. Affected websites displayed the message: "Error 503 Service Unavailable". Early reports suggested it could be related to Fastly, a cloud computing provider, which underpins a lot of major websites. Fastly said it was looking into problems with its global content delivery network (CDN). In an error message posted just before 11am BST Fastly said it was "currently investigating potential impact to performance with our CDN services." We all know cyclists should cycle on either the PCN or on the roads. But being on the road can be dangerous for cyclists who don't know how to look out for themselves as we can see in the video posted by SG Road Vigilante on the 28th of October. Shot in the morning by a camera car on Clemenceau Ave, the cyclist could be seen changing lanes to the right without checking for traffic coming up from the right. Unfortunately, a Comfort taxi did really come up on the right at a good speed and just barely managed to avoid knocking him down. That said, the taxi's wing mirror did knock the cyclist off balance, causing him to fall. Do you think cyclists who wish to cycle on the road ought to undergo the Basic Theory Test at a minimum? Tesla has announced that it will close down most of its retail outlets in a move that will allow it to price its cars cheaper. According to Electrek, the electric car maker wants to focus on online sales as it says that 78% of the Model 3 orders the company received last year were placed online. Interestingly, it added on that 82% of Model 3 customers purchased the vehicle without test driving first. With that in mind, the company believes that there was no need to operate the 120 retail store that it has now and will be closing most of it down. Doing so will allow it to reduce prices for its vehicles by an average of 6% and give it the ability to produce the entry-level Model 3 earlier than anticipated. Furthermore, it has been reported that Tesla started removing commissions from retail employees earned from sales, prompting employees to speculate that the manufacturer has cut bonuses to try and push them out before Tesla needs to layoff staff and pay severance.

How Bardahl Asia Pacific do their customer service My friends are using Bardahl Oil for our engine in the past few years and this year we stopped it. Because two engines have break down with this oil, we took some old oil and new oil to do some test. And the result coming out is not good. SN 5W-40 Old oil (We save some oil before we change the oil) Kinematic Viscosity, mm2/s @ 100C : 13.9 CCS @ -30C, cP : 5390 Pour Point, C : -39 TBN, mg KOH/g : 6.94 Phosphorus content % : 0.073 SN 5W-40 New oil (We bought some new oil from store) Kinematic Viscosity, mm2/s @ 100C : 14.36 CCS @ -30C, cP : 6350 Pour Point, C : -36 TBN, mg KOH/g : 9.31 Phosphorus content % : 0.157 With all the API standard, these two oils are in spec. However, we put 4L new oil into my engine and after running 5000km my engine alarm light is on. I go check with the repair shop about it, there are 2L oil left in the engine and the oil is extremely dark and sticky with mud. Few of my friends have this issue also, two of their engine have break down with this oil. We ask the Bardahl office what happen with their oil and they keep pushing all the response away and sent us different report about their oil don’t have any problems. We know that if there is a problem with a single car, we can let it go and try to fix it. However, there are more cars having these problems in these few months. And the Bardahl office accidentally cc me this email below during the conversation. I am still quite a new driver and my first ever car just broke down. I took it to a garage but it looks like to repair it could cost so much money that it's not worth it. I've had my car for 9 months only (used car). It's a Vauxhall Corsa. I live in the UK and I need my car to commute to work as the public transport is not very good where I live. I don't have a lot of money for a new car right now but I need one and I don't know much about cars but I don't want my second car to break down that soon again. The finance or leasing companies which the cars are still registered with then proceeded to repossess the cars. Dentist Daniel Chan, 34, was among those affected. He bought a used Volkswagen Tiguan in November and collected the car on Nov 6. On Nov 15, he tried to renew road tax for the car, but could not. He contacted the Land Transport Authority, and was told that the vehicle had not been transferred to him. The car has since been repossessed, and Manhattan has closed shop. Asked why he did not buy from authorised agent Volkswagen Centre Singapore, which has a used car division, he said: "I didn't want to spend too much on a car. The (Manhattan) price was right. I did an internet search on the company and there were no bad reviews. "I've bought two used cars before, and never had a problem," he added. He bought the six-year-old car for $70,000 and paid $50,000 in cash. Volkswagen Centre Singapore said it does not have a similar car in stock currently, but estimated that one would cost around $50,000. Police said they have received "more than 20" reports from consumers regarding Manhattan Motor. "We are looking into the matter," a spokesman said. SINGAPORE — Part-time SMRT taxi drivers were locked out of their vehicles early Monday morning (Oct 30) in a three-hour server glitch on the transport operator’s short-term taxi rental service portal, SMRT Taxi Share. Rolled out in January by SMRT, the service requires taxi drivers to prebook a taxi, head to the pick-up point closest to them, and get on taxishare.com.sg to indicate that they would like to “Start Trip” — a button that would only be enabled past the starting time of their booking — before their cars would be unlocked. But drivers who went through their usual routine on Monday morning were met with an irresponsive ‘Start Trip’ button, although they were able to access the Taxi Share website. Those attempting to end their rental reportedly faced problems doing so. Hi, I have a few occassions when the fan kept running after I had shut down the engine. The first time it happened, I just turned on the engine for 1 min to shift my car. When I shut it down, I can see the fan turning. I turn on and off the engine again and it was gone. The 2nd time happened when I was using the car battery (engine not on) to vacuum. After I shut everything down, the fan remained. After about 5 mins, it went off. The 3rd time happened when I shut down the engine and turned it on again after 2mins. I drove it for about 100m before shutting down. The fan remained and I had to restart the engine and shut down again. Anyone had similar experience? Is this normal? My MK6 Jetta is the non-sport version.

I like to check with you guys. Anyone experience with car broke down in multi storey car park? I don't know if tow truck is able to tow the car from the car park. My car went in workshop on and off, called tow truck before. Seems like it is going in again. As car was bought recently from used car dealer, I do not want to go any workshop first as previous workshops are their workshop. Car is able to move now but don't know when it will cease. I just like to know if it is possible to tow the car from multistory car park. Don't ask me what happen to my car, a bit sian to recite whole story.
