  1. 15th May 2013 was the world premiere of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Mercedes unveiled its new luxury sedan at the Airbus A380 Delivery Centre located in Hamburg, Germany. However, what attracts me besides the debut of the luxury German sedan itself is the odds that the German automaker is set to launch the coupe version soon. On its official Facebook page, Mercedes Germany has released a sketch of its new model. To me, the sketch looks like the 2014 S-Class coupe, well, although Mercedes-Benz didn't necessarily mention the term 'coupe', and the new model seems kind of wider than the previous generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe. Furthermore, it's known that the 2014 S-Class will also come in a convertible and coupe version. In addition to that, no matter how I look at it, the styling cues portrayed in the sketch don't seem to match those of the actual sedan being launched at the home country of Mercedes-Benz today. So, in short, I think it's safe to say that we should be getting ready to behold the launch of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe which will seemingly take place in the near future. Otherwise, I don't think the German automaker will be revealing the design of its new model in such detail.
  2. Peugeot has taken the wraps off the new 308 hatchback. The new model sports chiselled lines as compared to the outgoing model which looked bubblier and somewhat feminine. The new French model adapts Peugeot's new family face and is built upon the new EMP2 modular platform which contributes to weight savings of 140kg. Peugeot claimed that the interior quality has improved and highlighted its 'i-cockpit' which does not have any buttons. The main focal point of the cabin is the centrally-mounted 9.7-inch touchscreen multi-functional display. Peugeot has not released any engine details at the moment but it has confirmed that CO2 emissions will be as low as 85g/km. The new 308 will make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show come September. In the meantime, enjoy the gallery of France's latest VW Golf competitor. The outgoing 308
  3. A German driver, Uwe Schrager, deliberately crashed his Ford Mondeo into a tree to test the airbags of his car. "I knew that the car was fitted with airbags but I didn't trust that they would work, so I wanted to test them. I felt it was better to have a low speed crash that I was likely to survive if they didn't work rather than a high speed crash when it will be too late if they didn't work," said the unemployed Schrager when questioned by the police. When the police arrived, they found the driver putting the car's bumper and other parts into the boot so that he could drive the wrecked vehicle back home and get it repaired. The driver was tested negative for drugs or alcohol. Police said that the man had expected to be able to put back the airbags after the test, but had then discovered that this wasn't possible. The 45-year old Schrager apparently expected the insurance company to put the car back together again but was informed that the incident is not claimable as he had admitted to deliberate crashing. For his actions, Schrager
  4. When you have what it takes (and by that, I mean the money), there's no need to worry whether or not you will get what you want, even from such a world class automaker as Koenigsegg. At least, this is what happens in China. The Swedish automaker has built a stunning gold-plated Koenigsegg Agera R, and gives it the name Zijin, most likely specifically by request. The car seems to suit its name really well. It's painted with brilliant purple on the outside - a one-off finish which will really catch your eyes - and features gold on the inside. Just for your information, 'Zijin' is a Chinese word meaning 'purple gold'. However, don't be mistaken as not the entire interior is made of gold. The interior components that are gold plated include the centre console, air vent surrounds, steering wheel trim, and also a wide array of knobs and buttons. Well, to be honest with you, even if I had the money, there's no way I would have decorated my hypercar with the precious metal, although the metal did make the car look nice somehow. One problem I would be worried about is the added weight of the vehicle. Nevertheless, this doesn't seem to be a problem whatsoever in this case. To overcome the weight problem of this particularly made-for-Chinese car, Koenigsegg has decided to make use of its 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which is capable of delivering 1040bhp. Check out the images to witness the Koenigsegg Agera R Zijin.
  5. It's a commonly known fact that London often becomes the destination of choice for millionaires all over the world, especially during summer time. It seems that the millionaires just love the ambient summer temperature in the city. Well, that's besides the fact that most of them seem to love showing off their expensive collection of cars. This seems even more true for millionaires coming from countries with a climate hotter than that in London, just like this fellow millionaire from Dubai. Just like any other person in London, this fellow seemed to be enjoying his time in the capital city of England. However, it was only so true until he tried to get his Ferrari F12 Berlinetta out of a parking lot. Unfortunately for him, he bumped the right rear quarter of his quarter-of-a-million pound vehicle into the wall. But perhaps he didn't think of it as unfortunate, heck, he probably didn't even care - he's a millionaire after all. The Italian prancing horse didn't seem to be visibly damaged in the video (below), though. Watching the video till the end, the guy finally seemed to care about the scratch he might have caused on his car. Near a red light, he decided to get out to check the right rear quarter, the part he bumped into the wall. Honestly, I can say he seemed pissed afterwards. Well, I wonder what was actually on this guy's mind. Not enough with bumping his car - which some of us (including me) may never be able to buy, he went further to run a red light. Did he think he could do just as he wished whenever he got pissed? Alas, he got trapped in the yellow box marked around the junction as a result. Well, watching the video makes me wonder that it may not be suitable to drive a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta around the twisty narrow London streets. The car seems to better suit the rolling landscape and twisting hills in the country where it comes from. For those who still don't know, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta carries a 6.3-litre V12 engine under its hood. It can produce a total output of 730bhp. That said, this particular model is also one of the most powerful monsters the Maranello-based automaker currently has in store.
  6. The Skoda Rapid Sport concept will make its world premiere at the Worthersee tuning show in Austria. The concept gives the plain looking Rapid sedan an extreme makeover and turns it into a boy racer's fantasy. The Sport Concept is painted in two-tone metallic Steel Gray and Corrida Red and wears aggressive 19-inch red alloy wheels. The exterior is complimented by a body kit and twin exhausts pipe at the rear. The darkened side mirrors, head lights and grille remind us that this is a rapid sedan from the dark side. The recessed hood completes the external updates. According to Skoda, the sporty layout continues in the interior of the car, with a sports type steering wheel, Recaro seats and illuminated door sills. No engine details are available at the moment but given its promising looks, anything less than a 2.0-litre TSI would be a disappointment. Marking the 32nd year of the Volkswagen Group event, the 2013 Worthersee show takes place in Reifnitz, Austria between 8th to 12th May. Skoda will display the Fabia RS Motorsport, Citigo Motorsport and an accessorised 2013 Octavia Combi alongside with the Rapid Sport Concept.
  7. Volkswagen will be offering two new special edition versions of the award winning Volkswagen Up! in Europe and it will be a treat for fans of rock genre of music and small city cars. Dubbed the Groove Up! and Rock Up!, both vehicles are based on the top-specification High Up! model, each bringing its own unique twist. In the cabin the Groove Up! comes with a rock friendly Fender sound system (the above picture refers to a similar system from the Beetle), complete with six speakers, a subwoofer and a 300-Watt amplifier. Additionally, the Maps & More personal infotainment device is offered as standard which along with touchscreen satellite navigation provides Bluetooth phone connectivity and music streaming
  8. Bentley has collaborated with Pankhurst London, a high end men's grooming salon, to retrofit six barber chairs using the luxury car maker's artistry and engineering knowledge with materials and finishing found in Bentley models. On the partnership, Bentley Motors' Director of Marketing, Stefan Buescher commented, "A key part of what makes Bentley special is our hand-crafted expertise in wood and leather that makes our car interiors a special place to be. Working with Pankhurst has given us the opportunity to show this craft in an innovative and exciting way to create a unique experience in London's finest barber shop. Only Bentley could make such exquisite and beautiful chairs." The refurbished chairs were covered using leather from eight hides. The headrest sports either Bentley or Pankhurst embroidery. The suspension system of the chairs was reworked to enhance the comfort level. If you cannot afford to own a Bentley, perhaps the next best thing to do is to have a haircut at Pankhurst when you are holidaying in London. Kimage Hair Studio and NEXT hair salon : any plans to upgrade to Bentley barber chairs?
  9. U.K. luxury automaker - Bentley - will open a new showroom in the land locked country of Belarus to expand its presence in the fast-growing Eastern Europe region later this year. Belarus or officially known as - The Republic of Belarus - is bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. The capital city is called Minsk, and apparently over forty percent of its land mass is forested, and its strongest economic sectors are service industries and manufacturing. I'm not sure how many affluent people are there but I guess the economy is pretty good. Sounds like a mini-Canada doesn't it? Anyway, Bentley's new dealership will be located in the heart of the capital - Bentley Minsk - will open in Summer 2013. Naturally the dealership will offer sales and aftersales services to customers of the luxury British marque. Bentley Minsk will present the full range of exclusive Bentley cars - from the powerful and elegant Continental GT and GT Convertible V8 and W12 models, to the refined Flying Spur and the Mulsanne luxury flagship. In keeping with the Bentley tradition, each model offers an unrivalled blend of effortless performance, peerless refinement, and hand-crafted contemporary luxury. More details pertaining to the showroom will be released soon.
  10. The 360-degree advertising wrap that took place for the past two weeks on the underground tube from Nissan's advertising team covered the walls, ceiling and floor of the walkway to the Bakerloo and Victoria lines inside Oxford Circus station. The campaign highlighted Nissan's Connect technology that allows drivers to plot a journey on any device and send it remotely to their car. Featuring the strap-line 'Turn every drive into a ride with Google Send-to-Car technology', the advert gave patrons of the tube the impression that they
  11. Just to refresh your memory, at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show, the German automaker Volkswagen (VW) displayed its BlueSport roadster concept. Unfortunately, not long afterwards, VW postponed the project. Some early reports mentioned that the reason production of the roadster was postponed was because the German automaker didn't see a business opportunity for the model while I would say otherwise. The car looks attractive and that, alone, should be able to attract quite a few customers already. Add that with quite an affordable price tag for a roadster, you may be surprised by the number of people interested in spending their cash on the model. Yet, rumours have been swirling on the internet with some still believing that the roadster will finally come to life. I, for one, would like to see the open-top model comes into production. Despite the various rumours on the World Wide Web, there's now a bigger chance that the VW BlueSport will actually hit our showrooms within the near future. At least, this seems to be what Walter de Silva is trying to tell us, although not so explicitly. The VW Design Chief told AMS, "I'm not the only one in our company who is convinced that a small roadster wouldn't be the worst thing for Volkswagen. This is a vehicle that we particularly like, and we always have in mind." Well, I agree with you, de Silva, I like the open-top very much, too. Therefore, it's nice to know that there're still some insiders in VW that would like to move on with this particular project. Moreover, it was confirmed by one of the German automaker's spokesperson. Just in case you can't really recall, the VW BlueSport roadster concept carried a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine when it debuted at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show. The engine is good enough to spit out 177bhp in addition to 349Nm of torque. Volkswagen claimed that the fuel consumption of the roadster could reach 23.2km/L, which is quite efficient in my opinion. The company also mentioned that the car would need only 6.6 seconds to reach 100km/h from a complete standstill. Also, expect no less than 225km/h when it comes to the top speed of the car. Given its model and engine specifications, I'd say the BlueSport concept may well be slotted under such brands as Porsche and Audi. Yet again, perhaps it doesn't really matter as both the brands belong to VW as well. Now that the VW BlueSport roadster may finally come to life, here's hoping that VW won't forget to ship the model to the showrooms here in Singapore as well. By the way, the roadster is estimated to cost around USD$30,000 (around S$37,000). As I said earlier, it's quite affordable for a roadster, isn't it? The only drawback so far that I can think of about this roadster is probably its roof. I think it would have been better if VW applied a hardtop, but perhaps, the softtop is a better solution for the current estimated price tag of the roadster.
  12. Cars might be getting smarter, more efficient and environmentally friendly over the years but one aspect that hasn't changed in the face of motoring - fuel prices. The Volkswagen Group are among numeral carmakers that are actively pursuing ways to manufacture cars that are environmentally friendly and fuel efficient. Audi is no stranger to this formula and the premium German marque aims to bring it one step further - from saving fuel to saving money on fuel through a nifty online feature. Aptly dubbed the new Fuel Prices service
  13. It is a known fact that Pagani doesn't build more than 40 units of the Pagani Zonda roadster in the whole world. Now, even if you have the money to buy it, you might not really get the chance to get your hands on one. However, this time, there's one unit of Pagani Zonda roadster up for grabs, provided that you're interested and quick enough to grab it. Well, you will have to splash at least around US$1.6 million (S$2 million) to get a brand new Pagani Zonda roadster. However, in this case, US$153,135 (around S$189,000) will do. Well, don't be surprised as the car isn't in a hundred percent good working condition. It experienced a crash some time ago. However, aside from its oil feeder and a portion of its front chassis, all the mechanical parts of the car are in good working condition. Nonetheless, you may have to replace each of the body panels, besides the windshield. Well, it isn't surprising to expect to spend a couple hundred thousands of dollars. Compared to the original price of the Pagani Zonda roadster, it
  14. The ever popular movie 'The Fast and the Furious' is about to come to its 6th installment. As a matter of fact, you'll be witnessing 'Fast and Furious 6' on the silver screen worldwide starting May 24th. As always, we've got used to sports, exotic, and tuned cars in the series. However, we've never got to see a BMW M5 in them in spite of what the car has to offer. With that being said, it's about time the model makes its debut. So, in this 6th installment, besides other very interesting cars, there'll be around a dozen of BMW M5s. Nonetheless, don't expect to see the current model as all those 12 cars will be the V10-revving E60 model. Personally, I think the model looks attractive even when it is in a complete standstill mode, not to mention when it is involved in a highly intense full throttle action thriller. The design cues are attractive, both on the front and rear fascias, so attractive that some people in Indonesia even nicknamed it 'the eagle eye'. Unfortunately, according to 'Fast and Furious 6' Car Coordinator, Dennis McCarthy, the person in charge of setting up the cars for you to see on the big screen, most of the 'eagle eyes' had to be destroyed while filming. What a pity
  15. Volkswagen is extending the appeal of the new seventh-generation Golf with three new R-Line packages designed by Volkswagen R GmbH. The 'Exterior' package emphasises the striking appearance of the Golf and complements it with a rear spoiler finished in body colour, fog lights, R-Line logo on the special glossy black radiator grille, special bumpers, flared sills and sporty black painted diffuser. The package is available with the Highline trim for the price of
  16. Do you remember seeing a video of an Indian boy driving a Ferrari some time ago on this blog? Well, in case you forget, the boy is the child of a man who is, frankly speaking, very well off. Mind you, he possesses a Bentley, Lamborghini, and a Ferrari - which is the problem this time around. The boy in question was only 9-years old when the video of him driving a Ferrari F430 was taken. Amusingly, it was his father, Mohammed Nisham, who recorded the video and even uploaded it to YouTube! Heck, his father must have, somehow, felt proud of his son's actions. Let me tell you, if I were him, there would have been no way I allowed the kid drive a car, let alone a supercar, man! Not only could the kid have run over someone to his/her death, but there were also alot of other potential accidents. For your information, the car has 500bhp under its hood which is, obviously, too much for a child to handle. However, quite miraculously, though, the 9-year old boy managed to avoid hitting anyone or anything. I used the word miraculous as the kid could barely see anything over the dashboard. Nisham let his son cruise in his aforementioned supercar in his residential area, which seems to be inhabited by wealthy people. Honestly, I didn't even realise that it was India in the first place. Nevertheless, it was only a matter of time before the local police department found out about the video and when they did, they decided to charge Nisham. The father of the child was convicted for encouraging underage driving as well as allowing a child without a driving license to manoeuver a car on a public road. Nisham told the police that he did that only to grant his son's birthday wish as the child had pleaded for months for his dad's permission to drive the red car. All the same though, police still considered the action as disturbing as it was irresponsible. I agree with the police in this case, Nisham shouldn't have tried to grant every single wish his child may have, even on his birthday. You're a father, pal, which means you should be wiser instead. It was also figured that the 9-year old kid had also driven Nisham's other cars, such as the Bentley and Lamborghini mentioned earlier. In case you have forgotten the video, here it is again for your convenience.
  17. The sports coupe to succeed the 350Z from the Japanese automaker Nissan, the 370Z, was officially unveiled for the European market back in 2012, during the Paris Motor Show. However, the model has now made it into the spotlight, again, with Nissan announcing an imminent launch of a facelifted version of the 370Z in China. Like its predecessor, the Nissan 370Z facelift maintains its sporty look. In fact, it looks a bit sportier and more luxurious now with a new front bumper, revised front end, and also a pair of vertical LED daytime running lights, the latter being the trend in the present day automotive market. However, expect no increase or decrease when it comes to performance as Nissan will not make any alteration to the engine. That said, the Nissan 370Z maintains a 3.7-litre V6 engine capable of spitting out 324bhp of total power output. Thanks to this engine, the car is able to go from a complete standstill to a speed of 100km/h in no more than five and a half seconds. For the facelift, Nissan is offering two new colours - Midnight Blue and Magma Red. Personally, I would choose the Magma Red over other colours as I think the car looks stunningly wonderful in it. Of course, apart from the colours, you also get to choose whether you want to drive in a coupe or to feel the air blowing on your hair. For the coupe version of the Nissan 370Z facelift, you'll have to pay 608,000 Chinese yuan (S$121,000). As for the roadster version, you'll have to spend a total of 668,000 Chinese yuan (S$134,000). Of course, you can only get the car at those prices in China, at least for now.
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bowkytZAVdw After Ford, Hyundai is the next car maker to apologise over a controversial commercial. The video, created by agency, Innocean Europe for Hyundai UK, shows a man trying to attempt suicide in his garage by hooking up the exhaust pipe to the cabin of his Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell. The attempt failed as the ix35 only emits water vapours and not carbon monoxide which blocks the transport of oxygen to the brain, heart, and other vital organs in the body. Hyundai issued an apology statement that read, "Hyundai Motor deeply and sincerely apologises for the offensive viral ad. It runs counter to our values as a company and as members of the community. We are very sorry for any offense or distress the video caused. More to the point, Hyundai apologises to those who have been personally impacted by tragedy." Hyundai has removed the YouTube video after widespread criticism on social media. However, the video has been uploaded by other netizens.
  19. Believe it or not, the Nissan Micra (sold as the March here) has been sold in the U.K. for the past 30 years and Nissan aims to celebrate with new offers. Call me evil or unprofessional, but as soon as I read the news I could not help but head to YouTube to find the above clip. If you are a Micra owner - in that colour hue especially - I meant no disrespect. The subcompact was first launched in Britain in 1983, and after four generations, it has remained dependable and affordable. This fantastic achievement highlights Micra's longstanding popularity. Nissan believes life begins at 30 (isn't it 40?) and to help the Micra stay healthy, the Japanese automaker has announced a range of new '30' themed offers for Micra owners. To begin with, all Micra drivers with over three years of ownership can now benefit from a Ministry of Transport test (MOT)
  20. You know what they say, "Do whatever you want, just don't get caught!" Unfortunately (or thankfully, perhaps), these teenage car thieves in the United Kingdom don't seem quite knowledgeable about such a saying. Instead, these thieves just seemed so proud of their 'stealing' ability that they even shot pictures of themselves with the cars they had successfully stolen. What amazes me more is that they even posted the pictures on Facebook, a world renowned social media, and on their phones! This led the local police to catch them red-handed, or should I say, 'bread-handed' (you'll see why). It's a real 'shame' to the world of Grand Theft Auto. Speaking of Grand Theft Auto, it reminds me of the action adventure packed car theft game, the latest trailer of which will be shown on 30th April 2013. Alright, let's get back to topic. To be honest with you, these teenagers, aged from 18-23 years old, were quite an expert indeed. Comprising eight members, they managed to successfully steal nine high performance sports cars that were, and still are, very expensive. Porsches, Range Rovers, BMWs, and a Mercedes Coupe worth
  21. I bet you don't get to see that much when a traffic police officer goes against a scooter running at what seems to be a full speed. Honestly, it's the first time I stumbled upon such an occasion. But again, as I mentioned in the title, this is another Russian oddity. In case you haven't noticed, the Russians seem the best to go for when you're looking for some odd mishaps - you might want to check out this Hummer video as well. There's no exact word on what reason the police officer had in mind when he intended to stop the scooter. Most likely, though, the scooter rider had violated some traffic laws. Nevertheless, it seems that the Russians should teach their police officers a better way of stopping someone, especially one who's driving or riding on a vehicle. So, thing is, the police officer tried to stop the fast running scooter head on and I fail to figure out why this method seemed preferable to the officer in question. It's out of the question that this might as well lead to death or, at least, massive body injuries (you can see the officer finding it hard to get up in the video). Fortunately, the police officer didn't cause the scooter rider to lose his life. Had he done so, instead of enforcing the law, he would have had to go to prison. You know, instead of trying to tackle the scooter head on, the police officer could have achieved the very same result - yet with less risk of injuries, at least to himself - by stepping away from the scooter and kicking it hard sideways, preferably into the vehicle's front wheel. In that way, the runaway rider would be likely to lose his front wheel and would have been the only one to suffer from injuries. The officer, on the other hand, wouldn't have suffered from any at all and would still manage to stop both the scooter and the rider quite effectively. However, again, you can see in the video that, thanks to the officer's weird and ridiculous decision (at least so it seems to me), it happened the other way round. The scooter rider seemed unscathed at all while the officer, as I said earlier, could barely get back on his feet.
  22. Recently, Evo magazine pitted the brand new Jaguar F-Type against its arch rival, the Porsche 911 Cabriolet at the Bedford Aerodrome circuit. The review is done by Tiff Needell, who is a British racing driver and television presenter. The F-type in the group test is powered by a 375bhp 3.0-litre supercharged V6. The engine is mated to an eight-speed 'Quickshift' automatic transmission. At the other corner, the Porsche 911 Cabriolet is propelled by a naturally aspirated 3.4-litre flat-six that produces 345bhp. The seven-speed manual transmission sends the power to the real wheels. Although the British car has a horsepower advantage over its German rival, it is significantly heavier by 160kg. So, who is going to come out on top ?
  23. Switzerland motorsport specialists Carrosserie Saurer are no strangers to customised vehicles and have created exceptional examples of automotive styling and engineering. One such example is this 1975 Maserati Merak by Saurer that will be on auction on the 17th May at the Silverstone Auctions hosted International Trophy Sale. Life for this trident badged Italian began like any other Merak, though greater things were destined for this particular model in 1984 at the hands of Swiss-based Saurer. The redesigned bodywork was formed to create what Paul Saurer considered to be his ideal 'Hot Merak' and no doubt the end result exceeded expectations. The bespoke 1975 Maserati has all its original running gear retained and is estimated to be offered at between
  24. Claimed to be the fastest street car Ferrari has ever produced so far, there's almost nothing to criticise regarding the LaFerrari. From its eye catching styling cues to its mild hybrid powertrain featuring 963bhp, I don't see anything this car is lacking of. Instead of sporting a single focal point, as in the case with most other cars, there isn't any on the LaFerrari. Well, the only one perhaps, is its canopy like roof that seems quite interesting to me. In short, this is one dream Italian prancing horse built in Maranello. Some other models such as the Ferrari 458 Spider and the Ferrari FF were also built in the aforementioned Italian city. The Ferrari LaFerrari has been detailed perfectly by means of carbon fibre material. As far as design is concerned, it seems to me that the only thing which can outdo the design is the car's stunning performance with a top speed of 350km/h and an ability to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just less than 3 seconds. As mentioned earlier, the LaFerrari is a hybrid model which means it carries a V12 petrol engine along with an electric motor. The Italian automaker is planning to sell no more than 499 units of its latest supercar - which happens to be the company's first hybrid prancing horse. Well, it seems quite a good idea to bring the model to China - through the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show - as the country may be able to 'swallow' all units of the model based on financial ability. That also leads to figuring out the actual number of units that will actually see the land of the Far East. That said, I believe that there'll be some for the Middle East to 'consume' as well. Regarding the price, as far as I know, Ferrari will stick a price tag ranging somewhere around
  25. Today, media at Sundance London was the first to see the global premiere of 'Desire', the short dramatic film by Jaguar in collaboration with Ridley Scott Associates (RSA). The film stars British actor Damian Lewis, an Emmy and Golden Globe winner, together with Spanish actor Jordi Molla and American actress Shannyn Sossamon were there to grace the event. The short film was shown for the first time at The O2, after the festival's opening press conference, which attracted media from all over the world. The film director Adam Smith, introduced the film and described the project as a real adventure - a story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed. "Working with Damian, Shannyn and Jordi has genuinely been a privilege. To see actors of that calibre at work and to watch them contribute massively to the development of their own characters really brought them to life, which has all together made this an incredible film to be a part of," added Adam Smith. Caspar Delaney, the Producer of Desire, described the shoot location, Chile's Atacama Desert, as being perfect for the film and claimed it to be one of the most spectacular landscapes and locations in the world. Award-winning singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey penned the title song to the film, entitled
