  1. Sorry just needed to vent. I was thinking of getting an iphone and much as I didn't want to I had no choice as stocks at other operators were sold out. So I had no choice but to call them. I wanted to find out if they had stocks at Causeway Pt or AMKHub. Would u believe they said they can't divulge? I then asked if it was a marketing ploy so that queue's would form outside their shop before it opens and their audacious answer was YES. Unbelievable. So i told them to feedback that they have pissed one customer off who will NEVER, EVER subscribe to them EVER AGAIN. Thankfully I did not sign up for MIO or even their BB.
  2. Appreciate your guys can honestly declare qiute wonder why running at 150km/h on NSHW still got so many cars could overtake me, and mostly they were SG plate stock 1.6L & below BTW, my current one is Picanto 1.1A, max 160km/h previous one was sunny 1.6A, Max 185km/h

  5. i believe i have not seen a more talented dog than this..
  6. Just because major portions of the German Autobahn have no speed limit doesn't mean you can drive as fast as you want anywhere in Europe. Where there are posted restrictions, most European countries take speeding very seriously and levy hefty fines. The latest case in point is a 37-year-old Swedish man who was clocked at 180 miles per hour on a motorway between Bern and Lausanne in Switzerland. Unfortunately for this driver of a new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Switzerland doesn't have fixed fines for speeding. Instead they use a formula similar to that in Finland where the fine is calculated based on the vehicle's speed and the driver's income. Back in 2002, Nokia executive Anssi Vanjoki had to pay a fine of $103,600 for going 47 mph in a 31 mph zone. In this latest incident, the driver faces a penalty of just over $1 million for traveling at the highest speed ever recorded on a public road in Switzerland. Apparently the SLS escaped being clocked by several older cameras that are limited to 125 mph before finally being recorded by a new camera with a higher radar speed range. His excuse: The speedometer was faulty. As far as we know, this is the most expensive speeding ticket ever issued, though there are reports of a kid who last April was caught speeding in his dad's Bugatti Veyron, the punishment for which was permanent seizure of the vehicle. 10. Do you ever give way to these cars? When they signal or try to cut into your lane, do you slow down and give way to them? For me, depends on my mood. If good mood, give those BMW/Merc space. If bad mood.... WEll too bad for them. As for those Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo etc..... Nope. Never ever..... They can only cut in behind me but not in front. Too bad for them.
  11. Anyone know the number??
  12. As per topic title. Please also state the car make, driver's age and other relevant details as to how the insurance got so high.

  14. I just did after 15 years. She is now a teacher. Hairstyle changed, figure a bit pear shaped but still MILF material. Almost didn't recognize her if not for the same old vibe. Wanted to say hi but what's the point.
  15. I am writing in to complaint about this particular "restaurant" I went last Saturday. Just finished swimming and was very hungry. Decided to pop into the "restaurant" next to SIM which is so-called famous for its paper wrapped chicken(纸包鸡). Sat down at the 1st table we came along and an uncle soon came to us with the menu. Basically the menu is just 3 sets for us to choose ranging from $98 to near $200. As there were only 4 of us, we ordered the cheapest set, $98.00. I asked the uncle if we could jus order a few dishes like those coffee seafood restaurants. He started mumbling about something which I did not quite catch him. We just proceed with the $98 set. The following was the set dishes: 1) Paper wrapped chicken 2) Mushroom soup 3) Fried sotong 4) Beancurd with sauce 5) Fried rice 6) Dun know what sauce with prawn 7) Forget what vege 8) Desert.(Menu just wrote there, Desert) Becoz we were so hungry after the swimming I asked for the fried to be a bigger serving. Uncle replied: "Oh...all set already. The serving is for 4 pple." Ok...fair enough. First came the wrapped chicken. It was my first time there and I heard of this place b4 but never came. The chicken was ok. My friend who went there for the 2nd time said previous time the chicken is very big. Almost half the size of the current one. Never mind, I told him now so many things so xpensive its ok la... Then it was the beancurd. Ridiculous!!! There were only 6 pieces of deep fried beancurd wif literally a sauce on a sauce plate. I was keeping this to myself. I just find it very unbelievable. They are charging us for $98 for 6 pieces of deep fried beancurd. Never mind again, I told myself maybe others better. Then was the mushroom soup. As it was served nearest to mi so started to serve for my friends. Inside the bowl of soup was of coz mushroom...and 6 chicken feet. Or should I say bird feet becoz it was so damn SMALL!! Each toe is half the length and width of my pinkie!! Ok...my patient was nearly to the max but still I didn't voice out to my friends I just ask who wan chicken feet. Then came the fried rice. Bascially when I saw the fried rice. My mind was full of exclamation marks. It was the size of regular $3 fried rice we order from those coffee shop seafood restaurants. Add another $0.50 for an egg. I had enough of this and call the uncle that served us earlier. He didn't see me when I waved another young man came and ask what is it. I told him I want to see the boss. He was very rude asking what I want like a gangster lifting his head up a few times while asking. I said very firmly this time asking for the boss. The uncle came. I told him all my unhappiness. Everything that I find not justify to the amount we were paying. He doesn't seems to know what to reply me. Except to tell me its like that...its like that. WTF!! WHAT U MEAN ITS LIKE THAT...u charging us $98 for these craps. 6 pieces of deep fried beancurd cost how much?? Mushroom with 6 bird feet cost how much??? LOOK AT THE FRIED RICE!! IT THE SIZE OF A $3 FRIED RICE!! He offered to change the size of the fried rice. My gf ask mi to cool down so I let him. He came with the fried rice and from the look of it. He added 1 scoop thats all. I was very very disappointed and told myself I am never going to return to this place ever again. Last came the desert. 2 sliced orange and 6 small pieces of agar agar. Din have the mood to touch anything after that we left the freaking place. If any bro here thinks I am looking for trouble at the "restaurant" u can make a visit there and come tell mi u like it or not. The End.

  18. Toying with the idea of buying car video camera in case of accident -> got video footage as evidence 150 bucks However i have heard before that some insurance companies sometimes dun consider such evidence. Has anyone used it to help assist their claims? My fren just got whacked by prime mover. His car insurance loaded $1k+ + no NCD for this coming yr. Even if he wins the case, if got refund, they only refund NCD issit? Heard they dun refund the loading. So in summary, shld i get one? Pple with XP pls comment, thanks!
  19. Read a tragic accident resulted from a jammed accelerator. Toyota/Lexus probably in deep trouble now... http://www.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/Story...205-196840.html If ever your accelerator jammed: - slammed on your brakes (there will be alot of smoke) - stay calm - put gear into Neutral (RPM will surge) - turn off ignition drive safe...

  21. As above? I myself regretted not taking over my dad's previous car the G9 Corolla. I always call it the Hipporolla, very willing to rev somemore fuel efficient. Ever tried to hypermile and ended up doing 700km to a tank. Now when i see other Hipporollas on the roads, keep regretting. [bigcry]
  22. hello fellow bros. im jus wondering. as above, would u guys ever consider a high mileage car? im referring to approximately 50K-60K per year type of mileage. say for example, the car is around 3 years old, coming to almost 180K km. but condition is very good, regularly polished. would u consider it? it'll be good if u can share ur car's age and ur mileage. thank you for sharing
