Hi all, COE bidding time again: For this round: 1) Still in "7th month" 2) 1st COE exercise after Cat A COE crash to $8118 last round, and those car dealers only reduce price by mere $4k even when COE reduce by close to $9k. 3) Some car make increases car price by $1.5k in about one week time, so the demand for Cat A is confirm high . Anyone want to make a bet?

Hi guys, COE bidding again: For this round: 1) 1st COE exercise into 7th month, any effect? 2) Stock market is damn volatile recently and will this has any effect on COE? 3) Japanese Yen had appreciate quite a lot compare to SGD, from 1SGD=80 Yen rise to 1SGD=75Yen. I think this should have some effect on COE since the cost of Japan make cars will be increase too.

Good morning, everyone I have noticed for the past few weeks that an increasing number of commercial vehicles e.g. Toyota Hilux, Renault Kangoo are exhibiting dangerous moves on the expressways. The drivers behind the wheels would swerve rapidly to the faster lanes, sometimes even infringing onto the rightmost track. Thereafter, they adopt an 'No Police - Formula One racing on Lane 1, Police - docile but instantaneous turning back to the leftmost lane' approach. The sequence of events obviously heralds emergency braking and undue stress for fellow drivers who have to fear for their lives while traveling behind the commercial vehicles. Either the indicator/brake lights are faulty or the drivers do not signal their intention. One can empathise that they may be running on urgent errands but the fact that cars are potential killing machines if mishandled is evidently overlooked. On the other hand, the possibility of the speed gauge being tampered with cannot be dismissed. Always keep a safe distance from the commercial vehicles. There is no telling who will pull the above mentioned stunts in the future. After all, we only live once. Take good care
