Honda has created a Facebook application https://www.facebook.com/Acura/app_573862745964535 that allows the netizens to play around with the NSX Concept in different shades. The website also provides a link for the users to submit a request to stay informed on the future vehicles of the Acura brand. The Acura NSX Concept made its debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. Developed in tandem by Honda's design studios in California and Japan, the new NSX is a svelte-looking supercar . The new NSX will be powered by a hybrid powertrain and will also be the Japanese brand's first mid-engined application of its Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. The production version of the second generation NSX will not be ready for sale before 2014. I believe the timeline would depend on the economic outlook as well. In the meantime, have fun painting the NSX Concept.

The video took the word 'fan' literally and shows the Ferrari boss being hit by a flying Ferrari, which is blown off by the power of 10 million fans. As the video ends, a 'Thank you' message signed off by Montezemolo pops up. Ferrari's competitors, Porsche and Lamborghini, have about 4.8 million and 4.5 million 'Likes' in their Facebook pages respectively as of 9 Dec 2012. Judging from the company's sales, it is not hard to understand why Ferrari has so many fans around the globe. The Italian supercar maker has established new records in revenues and in the number of cars delivered in the first half 2012. A total of 3,664 automobiles were delivered to dealerships, representing a 7.4% year-over-year growth compared to 2011 -

Once again i am having gripes over facebook.. I have so many friends (many are not really friends) who keeps posting pictures of their babies. That is not a problems. But they will post a picture of their baby and say "i am hungry or look at me, i can fly....or where is my pillow.....or daddy, come get me.." they are posting like as though their baby is saying those words...i find it very bo liao....irritating at times. why do they do that???? they are already in their mid 30s..

General Motors (GM) has decided to pull its advertising campaigns from Facebook, citing that their paid advertisement had little effect on customers. The move comes just days ahead of Facebook's initial public offering. GM spokesman, Pat Morrissey, commented that the automaker is reassessing its Facebook advertising and clarified that the review is part of a regular analysis the company conducts on spending its advertising funds effectively. "We look at this with all media outlets, we look at the effectiveness," he said. "We move money around to various outlets." GM's announcement adds fuel to critics who say that Facebook, and other tech sites, may be overvalued. More than 50 percent of Facebook users say they never click on Facebook's sponsored advertisement, according to a recent Associated Press-CNBC poll. After General Motors (GM) decided to terminate its $10 million Facebook advertisement budget, rival Ford Motor quickly point out that the company is sticking by its commitment to the world's largest social network. Could it be the car has any Facebook features for Zuckerberg to enjoy? CNA News report : View CCTV images of flood-prone areas on PUB's website Posted: 29 March 2012 1343 hrs SINGAPORE: From Thursday, the public can find out which areas have been hit by floods by checking closed-circuit television (CCTV) images on national water agency PUB's website. The images are from 24 flood-prone areas and hotspots islandwide, including areas such as Orchard Road, Shenton Way, Bukit Timah Road, Upper Thomson, Veerasamy Road, Tampines St 81 and Ang Mo Kio Ave 3. PUB said the images will be updated every five minutes. There are currently 65 CCTVs installed at areas which are flood-prone or have recently experienced flash floods. PUB said the 24 selected CCTVs are located at roads with higher traffic flow. The agency said the CCTV images will help to improve public preparedness as part of Singapore's overall flood management effort. Mr William Yeo, PUB's deputy director of Catchment and Waterways said, "We have installed CCTVs at various locations to help us better monitor real-time site conditions during heavy rainstorms. "This enables us to deploy manpower on site faster in the event of a flash flood and provide more timely updates to the public." Members of the public can also obtain information and updates about flash floods via SMS alerts, PUB's Facebook page and Twitter account. With the number of Facebook users growing exponentially almost everyday, it is only a matter of time before it made it into cars. Well now Mercedes Benz USA has decided to integrate it into their cars in its new in-car telematics system. The version Facebook that will be offerred in the new cars will be a stripped down to a set of limited features, mostly ranging between location services of businesses and friends so that it works in a GPS sort of manner. Facebook's vice president of partnerships and platform marketing Dane Rose said that "it reflects the social network's expansion to a growing list of settings where screens and Internet connections are available." In other words, it is a system that appeals to people who always feel the need to know where their friends are. Imagine driving down Orchard road on a Saturday afternoon, you'd be getting notifications after every 100m telling you that one of your friends is in town. And I think that can get annoying after a while. Not to mention one of the new distractions that you can have in your car! The good news is that entering text is disabled.. If Facebook's entering the car industry, my guess is Twitter is going to follow and so will more accidents.
