Renault driver Fernando Alonso has set the fastest time in the second practice session for this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix as he prepares for his glamour move to Ferrari next season. The Spaniard completed the circuit at Interlagos slightly quicker than Toro Rosso's Sebastien Beumi. Brawn GP's Rubens Barrichello kept up the pressure on his team-mate and championship leader Jenson Button by clocking the third-fastest time. Button could only manage fifth-fastest, while the other title contender Sebastien Vettel was seventh in the timesheets for Red Bull.

The SSC Ultimate Aero TT is a supercar American-built by Shelby Super Cars and is the fastest street-legal production car in the world. It was built to rival the Bugatti Veyron achieving speeds of over 408 km/h (254 mph) and a 0-60 mph time of 2.78 seconds (for the Ultimate Aero TT version). The company and vehicle are the brainchildren of Jerod Shelby with Athan Aridas who helped, spending over seven years designing the Aero. The car is the world's fastest production car at 412 km/h (256 mph),[1] a speed reportedly achieved on September 13 2007 in West Richland, WA. The results of this test, verified by Guinness World Records on October 9 2007, gave the SSC Aero the title of world's fastest production car.[2] The SSC Ultimate Aero TT first appeared in 2004 under the name 'Aero SC/8T'. The Ultimate Aero is a limited production version of the Aero, offering higher performance than the original. From various sources, only 25 Aeros will ever be produced, but the sources conflict on actual models. Michael Schumacher drives taxi in airport dash It seems that you can take Michael Schumacher out of racing, but you can't take racing out of Michael Schumacher. The seven-time Formula One world champion took over from his taxi driver in order to make it to the airport in time for a flight, it has emerged. Cabbie Tuncer Yilmaz watched in awe as the racing legend, 38, showed him how his job ought to be done. "I found myself in the passenger seat, which was strange enough, but to have 'Schumi' behind the wheel of my cab was incredible," Mr Yilmaz told German newspaper the Muenchner Abendzeitung. Schumacher, who lives in Switzerland, had flown in to an aerodrome near Coburg, Bavaria, on Saturday and taken a taxi to Gehuelz to pick up a new puppy. On the 30km (19 mile) return journey, however, Schumacher felt they were short on time, and made a polite request to Mr Yilmaz that he be allowed to take over. Unsurprisingly, and perhaps with a view to bettering himself professionally, the driver did so. With his wife, two children and new addition to the family Ed, the Australian Shepherd pup, on board, Schumacher proceeded to put pedal to metal. Famously, German autobahns have no blanket speed limits, so the driver was able to put the cab through its paces. Although he was driving an Opel Vivaro, a minivan-style vehicle which has a top speed of 163km (101 miles) per hour, Schumacher managed to get the most out of it, according to the cabbie. "He drove at full throttle around the corners and overtook in some unbelievable places," said a white-knuckled Mr Yilmaz. The retired champion gave the taxi driver a generous 100 euro (71.76 pounds) tip on top of the 60 euro fare. Despite helping out as a test driver at old team Ferrari, Schumacher has ruled himself out of any return to Formula One.

after parking my ride sometimes i check my Apexi RSM by pressing the UP dial to see if i did rev or go faster than previously.. till tonite, i only hit close to 4000RPM and fastest at 125km/h. BUT lo & behold, i had a shock to see the readings moments ago! 2826km/h !!!! which means my humble ride, Nissan Presea, is miles faster than the Veryon or any F1 cars! but seriously, any bro knows how to reset these Top readings? cheers
