  1. Every day at some time I cannot make the connection to MCF although all my other sites work well. Unable to connect may last for an hour or so. Why is this. Does MCF carry out daily upgrades or something??
  2. Hi all Not exactly lite n easy. my MIL hospitalized in SGH. Have been doing this test that test but always give non-conclusive statement and only when we asked. Any avenue for broadcasting such issue of healthcare facility? Can't imagine the bills after staying for nearly 2 weeks and those tests. On a side note, I think in pursuit of shaping good economy, govt related bodies / subsidiaries have become very lax in their work. Examples - can peasant pursue justice without going thru great lengths like engaging lawyer, media etc? Can peasant wait for proactive medical update of patient status in black n white rather than going to private hospital.? In both cases peasant have no money and avenue. How can we change the society? Other than chasing material want and more money, what else is missing?

  4. Below is an accident video captured from my rear view camera. A car was exiting carpark service road onto main road and collided with an oncoming bicycle carrying an adult and a child. I believe the accident occurred because both the driver's view to whatever is coming from the left and also the cyclist's view of car exiting are blocked by a cluster of plants. So I wrote an email to the town council to suggest removal of the plant cluster hazard. The above photos and the accident video were attached. The next day, the plant cluster was gone. I just want to share this case with MCF. If you observe hazards on your daily drive, do feedback to the relevant authority to take action. Our HDB estates have similar pattern so this type of hazards could be common. If you are aware please do feedback. I am sorry that the accident happened but I think it had an impact to push people to take action. I myself am guilty of that. I should have taken action earlier. I am ok if you want to use my video and photos as ref to feedback for your own cases to take action.
  5. Anyone facing issues trying to post an ad? Nothing happens after I click the submit button. 😔

  8. Hi all, I would like to request of any car owners out there who had rear aircon installed for their Toyota Wish and so far how reliable it is and if it will drain off battery or shorten the compressor due to sharing between main and this additional rear unit? Thanks a lot and appreciate!
  9. Would like to find out from current Diesel Engine car owners your feedback on reliability? Is the maintenance cost high? So far any problem with your Diesel engine? DPF blocked? Any such encounter?
  10. How many of you actively use this? https://www.police.gov.sg/e-services/report/feedback-on-road-users According to article in 2016, TP says they get 500 submissions a month. Probably more now. https://www.tnp.sg/news/singapore/traffic-police-keep-sending-photos-videos-errant-road-users I just submitted a case where someone blatantly beat a red light. But I don't know what will come out of it since I don't think there is a way to check the status (short of contacting TP to follow up on the feedback I filed). As with all things, I understand there will be two camps...and I am sure some will tell me "Aiyah maybe he has an emergency, etc etc." However, I can't buy that every time, and have chosen to be on the other side of the fence. Naturally, I expect to be accorded the same treatment as a result. Also, many people complain about others not signaling; you can even report those if you wish. Like that I think TP one day can receive thousands of cases already. Lol. (Failure to signal attracts a $70 but no points iirc.) Sadly, deterrence seems to be the most efficient and effective tool. Thoughts?
  11. Hi guys, how's your experience with MSIG..? Trying to move away from Aviva and DA. Thanks!
  12. Hi Just wanted to share my bad experience with these tyres. I drive a Volvo V60. My stock tyres were the Michelin Primacy which lasted me 2 years. After reading reviews online I decided to try the PS3, 17inch 45. Changed in Mar this year, did balancing and alignment, all at Kim Hoe. Tyres never felt better than the stock tyres, maybe its just not right for the V60. A lot of flexing, even without hard cornering. Threads gone by end of Sep, after only 6 months and 12k. And yes I made sure that the pressures were regularly checked Just changed to the P7. Fingers crossed Very very bad experience. I owned cars for the last 14 years and this was the worst ever experience To be fair to Kim Hoe, I chose these on my own but boy was I wrong and just to make clear, this is just my honest experience.
  13. Looking to change the GY F1A3 tyre but found out that the current batch are from Solvenia. Anyone knows about production from Solvenia and maybe someone can share your GY tyre that are from Solvenia.
  14. I was considering the Jetta as a replacement for our family car, but down at the showroom, the CO expressed more interest in the Golf instead. Would appreciate feedback from the bros and sis driving the current Golf. In particular, Internet has a lot of negative reviews about the DSG gearbox. Does anyone driving the Mk 7 Golf have any issues so far? Thanks in advance.

  18. Hi All, Just like to have an update from current and would be hybrid owners on how economical and reliable of hybrid cars these days. Seen many improvements from different makes, and would like feedback from those whom are driving or would be owner why consider a hybrid. Please I am not a tree hugger and appreciate posts that can provide cost of usage and fuel saving over time. CEV rebate is also not a consideration because as understand, OMV or parf gets affected by the end of 10 years, thus that segment is a no win to owners. (at least that's how I feel). Thanks
  19. Hi guys, I noticed giant is selling the LiquiMoly synthetic engine oil in 5L form, and it seems pretty cheap compared to shell, mobil, castro etc. Are there any appreciable differences between these items?
  20. Dear fellow MCF forum users, I am considering to spray my white Honda Vezel's bonnet at CS Ong Motor (AMK Auotpoint #04-01). I heard that they will use original paint code for my White Orchid Pearl and most probably it will be OEM I think. Can anyone kindly feedback on their paint quality and if their workmanship is good? Hopping to get back original factory paint condition after spray painting. Thank you. :)
  21. Hi everyone, Am currently in the process of looking for a first used car. Of the cars that I have viewed (mostly sourced on SGCM), I have had one sent for AA testing and pre-purchase evaluation. As I have relatively limited knowledge of car mechanics and repairs, would like to appeal for help and feedback regarding the report. Model: Audi A4 1.8T FSI MU S-LINE Registration: May 2009 Mileage: 120,000+ Previous owners: 1 Dealer claims - no major accidents, stock colour, servicing already done before initial viewing No declarations with regards to major servicing/repairs required beforehand Am looking for opinions on whether this vehicle appears roadworthy/worth purchasing (+/- negotiations or additional servicing) based on the report, or if there are any major red flags etc. Thanks in advance. Any constructive comments or suggestions would also be very much appreciated!

Has any user installed this 3-series speakers and has any feedback on the speakers? Any other speakers would you recommend within the price range of the Micro Precision 3-Series?
