  11. Hi! I am shopping for a used sedan. I am probably going to use this car for about 1-2 years (so a good resale value is a must) and I'm looking for a 2006 or 2007, 1.8-2.4L sedan and I'm willing to pay about $45,000-$50,000. Size is not an issue but I'm going to travel long distances with this car to my workplace daily so a good a fuel efficient car is an advantage. I prefer a car with a luxurious feel to it. I am extremely confused as seen in my long list of choices, please help me by telling me which car from each category you like most. Thank you, your help is greatly appreciated. My choices are: Compact Sedan 2006 Honda Civic 1.8, 2.0 or hybrid 2007 Mazda 3 2.0L (previous model) 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer EX 2.0L 2006 Nissan Sylphy 2.0L Mid-size Sedan 2006 Honda Accord 2.0L (previous model) 2006 Nissan Cefiro 230JM 2006 Toyota Camry 2.4L (previous model) I know that those cars are very different, so please just pick one from each category. Thanks.
  12. guys, do any of u use upper payer lebar road towards ubi in the morning?? Recently after they spent millions building and opening the underpass at bartley road, the jam has improved considerably. But there is still jam further up and I realised that it is due to inconsiderate drivers doing illegal u turns at the right turn into Lor Ong Lye. Basically right after the junction between the upper payer lebar rd and lor ah soo there is a right turn opening into Lor Ong Lye. But INCONSIDERATE drivers has been using that opening to do illegal u-turns. Because that opening DOES NOT have a waiting lane, one single stupid driver will jam up the right lane. The left lane is bus lane, so we end up with only one lane for traffic. Furthermore, just like 100m down there is a u turn with a nice waiting lane which can accomodate a few cars but people are too lazy to drive 100m more. I feedback to LTA already but they say the right turn is to distribute traffic into some dunno what roads which I think is totally nonsense. They should just close of the right turn as there is a u turn just further up ahead. Can more people help to feedback? the number to call is 1800 - 2255 582 it takes only 2 minutes to call but if they fix this, it can save us like 5-10 minutes everyday. the roads in question are here http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel...vel_site_86993/
  13. Im sure the new wish 09 are on the road already. Any kind owner has any feedback on it.

  16. hmm most of us want to have value for money modding for our latios but are unsure about the quality, pricing and workmanship of the lobangs available across all the cars forums. Among my research, i find that some of the pricing or quality mentions are not too recent. Hence reference might change =( Maybe i will share my $0.02 opinions on the type of minor aesthetic moddings (for the past 6months) that i did and how do i find the quality and workmanship of the "lobangs" If u got other good lobangs.... Pls share too =D Hope we can help save our money and yet get GOOD mods Before modding LEDs (on door handles, below car doors and front grill) Lobang>>Marcus aka Wischong @96619892 Work time >> 4hours Cost $250 Duration of usage/installation: roughly in late July 2008 till now Comments: He is careful with my car, take great care and time to dismantle my car doors. 17. dear MCFians, my TV is dying ... and time is high for me to change. Aiming for a 46" / 47" model, and after visiting several shops and reading of the brochures, it seems that I am down to the following: 1. Sony V or W series 2. Samsung 650 / 610 series 3. LG 70YR series 4. Sharp A85 series Anyone with comments and user feedback on the above units, pls feel free to drop a note. As for pricing/lobang, lets leave it out first, as I am still doing my legwork and research. (I noticed that there is a huge difference between the highest and lowest) Thanks mice

    BBOM Feedback

Anyone on Singtel broadband on Mobile (BBOM) plan using the USB modem given by Singtel? Any feedback for use around IBP/Jurong East area? I am getting really bad speed and it seems to be time dependence. Meaning, it is especially bad during 11 am to 1 pm and then 4:30 pm to around 6 pm. May be more people making calls during those period so the speed is affected. Anyone uses M1 or Starhub here? What is your feedback?
  21. Guys, Not sure anyone has used Toyo Proxes CT01 before, do give me your feedback if you have experience on this tires, thanks.
  22. Hi all, hunting a budget car to replace my 3 and half years fuel drinker, knew 2009 Honda City already launched few months, but from this fourm couldn't find much feedback on this car just test drive the car and read spec, its quite attractive in term of powerful engine, exterior sporty look and price etc, but only from the SE's description, difficult to decide whether it's value of money holpfully the new city owners can give valuable feedback here, thanks alot
  23. OK guys..... I've just purchased a bottle of the FP60 and have used it in the car for about a week (1 tank). Initial effects was that the engine runs smoother & quieter although the power seems like abit retarded in my case. After 2 days or so of driving, I don't realise it that much.... guess it's too slight to really make a diff. Anyway, after about 4 days of usage, the problem I had with cold starts (engine like doesn't want to crank and almost stalls before catching on) is greatlty reduced. Now, at the 6th day, its like gone. Wonder if my injectors were dirty and the FP60 helped clean them. I'm gonna use it for another week, then stop to see whether my previous starting problem comes back to haunt me..... or whether its cured for good. Just to feedback what I experienced on my ride.
  24. Hi All, Appreciate feedback from those who've used Maha batteries as well as their charger. Are they really worth the $$$? The charger I'm looking at is the C9000 (can't remember the whole code), while the batts is both Imedion (2100) & PowerEX (2700). Also, I've already ordered some AA adaptors to use them as C or D sized batts. What are your views/feedback. Thanks
