  1. Some of the footage where people cracked and turn berserk in office. Have any of you encounter similar office rage at your office/career? Where colleagues suddenly turned emotional or violent and smashing things or beating up people? I was pretty lucky the worst I've encountered is a senior staff screaming his lungs off the director and walking out of her office slamming her door. The next thing that happened is the security coming up to escort him out of the office. He was not even allow to pack his desk and we had to help him pack and pass his stuff to him outside. This senior of mine was actually a nice person and a great worker, he did have temper issues but nothing he can't control....until now. He just suddenly snapped and we were all shocked when he screamed inside. Apparently it was partly caused by his family issues, as well as some pressures from the bosses.
  2. Shirts were torn, faces scratched and a shopping bag swung when two men and a woman fought outside the Subordinate Courts on Thursday. As the men exchanged blows, the woman also joined in for good measure. Her weapon of choice — a shopping bag that she swung at one of the men who had earlier confronted her. It took about 10 security personnel and police officers another 10 minutes to calm them down and send them on their way. A Subordinate Courts spokesman said the parties were in court to attend a hearing for an application for leave to appeal to the High Court in a Small Claims Tribunals case. The application was denied. Source: http://www.tnp.sg/content/two-men-fight-outside-subordinate-courts-woman-joins

  5. If you want to find footages showing the most temperamental people on planet Earth, Russia is definitely the way to go. There have been numerous videos spread on the World Wide Web showing how messed up things in the country are. As a matter of fact, don't you even wonder how it functions as a country after watching those videos? Yet again, it seems that the people living there just never learn or they simply don't want to change. A video has been filmed again recently, showing how simply passing the road can turn into a fight that involves fists and even guns altogether in the middle of the city traffic! Therefore, even if you have the money to go and live in Russia, I would say that you better not think about it. Whereas road rage will turn into horns honking at most on our shores, the Russians aren't the type that takes things lightly, that's for sure.

  7. Any bros saw this incident or know the real story? Seems to be just some gesturing and argument between the two from the photo . From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg..._red_light.html Posted on 18 Oct 2012 Drivers fight in the middle of the road at a red light STOMPer HMS sent in a photo showing two drivers who seemed to be involved in a fight on the road as they stopped at a red light. Said the STOMPer: "Two guys getting into a fight outside their cars at a red traffic light."
  8. Last night at about 920pm, I heard shoutings and metal hitting noise coming from car park downstairs.. Being nosey I went to the window, only to see a champagne Altis parked awkwardly beside a white harrier.. a black ES5/8 Civic stopped in the middle of the road in front of the white harrier.. and a mini bus with rear sliding doors wide opened.. There were a total of at least 8-10 people surrounding the white harrier.. with about 2-3 people holding tools like wrench in their hands.. There were about 3 of them were gals.. They were trying to stop the white harrier from driving off.. and forcing open the doors by breaking the windows.. Another commotion was at the void deck, sounding like 2-3 of these people shouting back to a guy who looked like the leader of the whole gang.. The leader kept shouting back to his men "Verify! verify! have you verified?".. Thought were that probably some consequences of outraging of modesty gone wild.. Meanwhile the commotion at the white harrier continued.. Window was smashed, and doors were forced open.. No driver at the seat, but a passenger beside the driver seat.. These guys started opening the doors and boots, while a few tried to stop the only passenger from running away with hostility and force. The passenger, a guy probably in his 30s looked intimidated after some tugging of his clothes by one or two of these guys. He stayed still, didnt dare to move.. These guys all in their 20s, except the leader who looked maybe late 20s to mid 30s, and an uncle who looked about late 40s. These two elders seemed to be commanding and orchestrating the whole 'assault'. Neighbours and passerbys started to crowd in some distance to watch the commotion.. No one seemed to have called the police.. These people started to search the white harrier.. Maybe he might have stolen something.. 30 min passed.. a patrol car came.. Cant believe these police. Just a day back, neighbours quarrelled came 3 patrol cars, 9 police officers.. This one, involved 2 cars, 1 mini bus, at least 12 people in something that looked like a gang fight/riot/assault, they sent only one patrol car with 2 officers. One of the guys went to the patrol car, spoke a few words.. and the patrol car left.. So maybe these people were police officers as well.. Then whatever searched from the harrier were dropped into clear plastic bags and left in the mini bus.. And cordoned off the area with the 'police' strips.. They got the passenger out handcuffed. Oh so it's probably CNB in actions.. Very drama.. really like those HK gang fights movies.. Whole commotion ended after about 2 hours, when the passenger were brought away in the mini bus.. A tow truck came to tow away the harrier..

  10. Auntie seemed to be made the bad guy by the STOMPer. The young lady also not 省油的灯。 And now the whole Singapore knows the two of them taking part in the inaugural MRT Super Saliva Fight 2012 IMO priority seats are for the needy so please do not occupy them if you are not someone in need of them. Check out the 3 videos embedded in the website. [shakehead] From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...e_priority.html Posted on 19 Jun 2012 Auntie picks fight with girl despite being given Reserved Seat STOMPer Khair captured this video of a middle-aged woman quarrelling with a girl over a priority seat while on a train heading towards Marina Bay. The older woman had said she had a leg injury, which the younger woman claims she did not see. The older woman to take issue with how the younger woman kept 'staring at her for how many hours' after being asked for the seat, insinuating how she may be 'from China'. Later in the video, the older woman then tries to take a photo of the younger woman, to which the younger woman gets upset and questions why the older woman is 'causing trouble' despite already being given her seat. Throughout the video, vulgarities were continuously shouted at each other as the older woman accuses the younger woman of not having 'honesty'. The confrontation finally ends with the younger woman alighting at her stop at Raffles Place.
  11. [extract] Disputes over parking space are quite common. Most of them do not end up in a fight. However, in a bizzare case at Haikou City in Southern China, a man was murdered in a rather unusual manner. Apparently, a 41 year old woman tried to park her scooter in front of the deceased
  12. A cabby attempted to find fault with STOMPer Carol at a petrol kiosk for her parking too close to the taxi last evening (Mar 18). When a bystander came up and supported the STOMPer's cause, the cabby challenged him to a fight. The STOMPer wrote: "I stopped my car at a Caltex petrol kiosk at Jurong West around 7.30pm yesterday (Mar 18) for my two-year old daughter to drop off her dad's mail into the letter box as she enjoys doing that. "I parked my car in front of a Transcab taxi and was about to head into the kiosk store when the cabby confronted me about my vehicle. "He tried to pick a fight with me for parking too close to his taxi, making his vehicle unmovable. "When I told him that all he had to do is just reverse as there was no cars behind him, he continued arguing with me. "Am I supposed to park my car three feet away from his car and cause a hindrance to other vehicles moving out of the kiosk instead? "He even challenged a bystander, who sided with me, to a fight and accused him of siding with a woman so I asked the bystander to let me handle it as I didn't want to get the other party into any trouble. "The cabby even told me I should pay him for his time that was wasted; I told him, instead, that he should stay put while I call the police but the quarrelsome man drove off instead. "My daughter was so frightened she was crying in the car. "Is this the kind of cab drivers we want on the road? "What if he lords it over a meek woman or a tourist? "Will let Transcab know about this and hope they do something. "I feels people complain too much over trivial stuffs sometimes, but this incident is ridiculous and totally unnecessary."
  13. Yes, I'm hurt but...I can still fight: Ex SMRT CEO Former SMRT CEO Saw Phaik Hwa talks about, among others, quitting to defuse the criticism of her and the night she decided to resign. Tue, Mar 20, 2012 The New Paper SMRT CEO Saw Phaik Hwa is now serving out her resignation notice, moving around with crutches after a major knee surgery. She talks about, among others, quitting to defuse the criticism of her and the night she decided to resign. In the end, she became a magnet for abuse. And only by stepping down could she defuse the situation and allow the organisation to get on with the job. This is how former SMRT CEO Saw Phaik Hwa describes the situation she found herself in early this year, just before she resigned. "The whole organisation was overwhelmed with trying to answer and defend on so many fronts," she says. "I had become a magnet attracting all the criticism. If I divorced myself from the organisation, then at least it could start on a clean path." Speaking in an exclusive interview with The New Paper on Sunday at her home off Lornie Road, the 57-year-old says it was her decision to leave and she was not forced out. There was mounting pressure on her to step down after the two major train service breakdowns on Dec 15 and 17 last year, affecting 221,000 commuters in all. The Criminal Investigation Department, the Land Transport Authority and SMRT are investigating the disruptions and a hearing on the findings, open to the public, will begin on April 16. But why did she decide to hand in her resignation letter on Jan 6, when only weeks earlier she had said she would be "staying put to fix things"? She says: "After trying so hard for 21/2 weeks or so, I felt that things were snowballing and it was very difficult... because every faction was coming at us. April 5 to be her last day "It took me one whole night to think about it." She says she "always believed I will do the best for the organisation that I belong to". So she asked herself what was the best thing she could do. She realised the best thing was to leave because "it would defuse the bubble straightaway". "It's like a bubble, you know. You defuse it, let people get on to do what is right for the organisation," she says. But didn't the company say in December last year, even before the train disruptions, that Ms Saw had expressed the desire to "move on" this year, after having served nine years with the company? SMRT's longest-serving CEO clarifies that the idea of quitting had indeed been brought up then, but she decided to stay on when the company made a bid to operate the new Downtown Line. All that changed, however, after the train service disruptions. What's next for her? Ms Saw reckons she has had a good run with SMRT, but she is not about to call it a day yet. "I'm going to be 58. I don't think I'm about to ride into the sunset." A few offers have come up since she announced her resignation, she reveals, but she has yet to decide. "I always thought people would say: 'Don't touch this person after all that's been said and done'. But my friends say: 'You've moved SMRT to be a very different organisation. "I think I've been proven to be able to manage a business and I think I can continue to do something, probably very different from SMRT," she says. She sees herself being active for another five to 10 years. And if not on the corporate front, then always as a martial arts teacher, having mastered taekwondo and tai chi chuan. Her last day with SMRT will be April 5. With a bit more time on her hands these days, she has finally started to deal with one issue that she has put off for some time - her health. The martial arts training and fighting has taken its toll on her body. She recently had major knee surgery and is moving around with the help of crutches while regaining her strength with physiotherapy. She also has four slipped discs, but adds quickly in case anyone thinks she's an easy target now: "I can still fight."

  16. A Chinese national father-and-son duo caused a commotion at Geylang last night when they attacked a restaurant manager with a chopper and even assaulted policemen. The incident happened at about 11.30pm last night at Geylang Lorong 19. Wu Xu Cai (44, renovation worker), together with his wife Dai Gui Zhen (age 40) and his son Wu Qi Qi (18, student) were having dinner at "Su Zhou Restaurant" with three other friends before the commotion began. Wu's friends had wanted to treat the family to a meal to welcome Wu's wife and son, whom had specially come from China to visit him. During the meal, the group downed 24 cans of beer before Wu's friends footed the bill with $130. After paying, Wu's son decided to order two more bottles of beer. Just as the group was leaving, the restaurant staff came up to them to say that they had not paid for the meal. This sparked off a quarrel between the group and the restaurant staff. The manager of the restaurant, Mr Li, tried to intervene and calm everyone down but the quarrel soon turned physical. After a brief tussle, Wu agreed to returned to the restaurant and he went on to pay $217 more. But Wu did not stop his verbal abuse on the restaurant manager. He continued to hurl vulgarities at Mr Li, declaring that he earns $4,000 a month and there is no reason that he cannot pay for his meal. The agitated Wu then dashed into the kitchen, picked up a chopper and threatened the manager with the words, "You think I don't dare to hurt you?" Wu then smashed a beer bottle and swung it at Mr Li's head. Fortunately, Li managed to dodge the swing. During the fight, both father and son had reportedly dashed outside the restaurant and pushed over many chairs. About five other diners were shoved by Wu in the process and they too joined in the fight. One of the men picked up a beer bottle as a weapon and chased Wu's son for about 300 metres to Lorong 23. Wu's son sustained injuries to his head after he was hit by a beer bottle in the attack. He left a large pool of blood at the scene. When the police arrived, Wu attempted to escape but was subdued outside the restaurant. Witnesses say both father and son resisted arrest and even assaulted the policemen. It took four policemen to subdue the duo. When reporters arrived, the father-and-son duo were still highly agitated and continued to struggle to free themselves of the police. Wu was still hurling vulgarities at the policemen as he was put into an ambulance. According to Wu's wife, Dai, the restaurant manager had attacked her husband first. The restaurant manager Mr Li, a Chinese national, said the father-and-son pair took turns to punch him in his face. The massive commotion also drew a large crowd of spectators.

  19. Yahoo news : GARUDA DENIES BREAST EXAMINATION ON APPLICANTS JAKARTA, Aug 25 (Bernama) -- National carrier Garuda Indonesia has denied allegations by a South Korean job applicant that male doctors were examining aspiring flight attendants'' breasts to detact any implant. The airline corporate secretary Pujobroto said routine medical examinations which form part of the recruitment process did not involve breast examination. The job applicant for a cabin crew position in South Korea, who requested not to be named, has claimed that dozens of candidates for 18 highly coveted female flight attendant positions with Garuda, were required to strip down to their panties so that a doctor, who is male, could check for tattoos and breast implants, english daily The Jakarta Globe reported Thursday. A Garuda official was qouted by South Korean Yonhap news agency as saying that the breast examination by hands was done since those with implants can have health issues when air pressure falls during flights. The official also said that cabin crew were banned from having tattoos, and workers hired overseas including in Japan and Australia, were subject to similar process. Pujobroto said that physical checks were performed by a trusted team of Garuda doctors from Indonesia and they were assisted by a female Korean staff member during the examination. He said five out of the 27 Korean applicants failed in the test, but he did not give the reasons for their failure. News of the breast examination baffled industry peers and angered women rights groups, which called the process intrusive. "We''ve never heard of or done such a checkup on flight attendants. I wonder if that means passengers with breast implants should not fly also," a spokesman for Korean Air was qouted as saying. -- BERNAMA hmmmmm......... just imagine when the attendant was serving you coffee on board a plane and suddenly, loss of air pressure and 'ka-pow'...... you face is cover with silicon ..... Next time I fly, I avoid asking ( . )( . ) to serve me coffee ......

  23. This "FIGHTING" massage seems like PAP's manifesto in the upcoming election. But It is pretty mind-boggling how are they going to fight for Singaporeans' future. Please vote and tell me what do you think PAP will be fighting for? 'PAP will fight for Singaporeans' future' The People's Action Party (PAP) chairman Lim Boon Heng said on Monday that a key issue that the party will fight the coming election on is the kind of future Singaporeans want for themselves and their children. -- PHOTO: BUSINESS TIMES THE People's Action Party (PAP) chairman Lim Boon Heng said on Monday that a key issue that the party will fight the coming election on is the kind of future Singaporeans want for themselves and their children. 'Given the environment surrounding Singapore and the competition it faces, what kind of future do we want?' he said at the unveiling of the party's third batch of candidates at the PAP headquarters on Monday afternoon. Responding to reporters' questions on the PAP's manifesto for the coming election, he said it would be released 'in due course'. In the 2006 election, the manifesto was released on April 15, three weeks before polling day on May 6. The latest new faces include the first Malay-Muslim candidate and the youngest PAP candidate among the total of nine introduced so far. The trio are Mr Zainal Sapari, 46, an educator; Ms Tin Pei Ling, 28, an Ernst & Young consultant; and Mr Gan Thiam Poh, 48, a banker with DBS. Mr Lim said the PAP is renewing its mandate with a younger slate of candidates, adding: 'We have combed thoroughly and we believe we have a slate that will be difficult to match. 'We cast our net wide in the search for new candidates, reaching out to all sectors of society. We look for not just persons who are able but also committed to serve, who want to make a better life for people.' Such a broad-based approach will ensure 'robust debate within the party on policies that affect the lives of Singaporeans,' said Mr Lim. ST: PAP will fight for Singaporeans' future
