Just entertaining a couple friend from Germany transit via Singapore. Bring them for some local food and chit chatting. They are in their mid 50's and a son age age 16 and daughter 18. Some conversation and pop up this topic.......... they think their children are dating. Whenever their daughter went out, for dating or with friends, they wouldn't know, they will just secretly put in some condoms in their daughter's handbag. I was really quite shocked when they said this and ask them why? Their answer is, she had grown up, practice safe sex............... WTF I was thinking, you allowed and even encouraged your daughter to have safe sex even though she is not married??? Is this a good practice?? I doubt no parents in Singapore will do this!!!!!!!!

I understand one of the current hottest topic is the need for FTs given the low birthrate. In my case, I don't even have enough time for myself and wife, not to mention having kids. Daily Schedule ------------------ 0630 Wake up. Wash up, prepare and have breakfast 0730 Head to office 0815 Settle down for work 1800 to 2100 Finish chionging office work, meetings, reports, etc 1900 to 2200 Reach home 2030 Finish workout (no workout on 2200 days) 2130 Settle down and finish dinner 2330 Check out investments, listen to music, read books, play games, catch up with wife 0000 Sleep Weekend Schedule ---------------------- Mainly bringing in laws or wife or my own parents around. Either that, go nearby trips or just shop in Singapore with wife Catch up with friends That's usually how I spend my time. Sometimes got to chiong work over the weekend as well. Seriously, I don't even have time to upgrade myself with courses and stuff. How do you guys find time for taking care of kids? Really respect all the parents

As I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend.. I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging. Whose business is it if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 AM or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to those wonderful tunes of the 60 &70's, and if I, at the same time, wish to weep over a lost love .. I will. I will walk the beach in a swim suit that is stretched over a bulging body, and will dive into the waves with abandon if I choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They, too, will get old. I know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life is just as well forgotten. And I eventually remember the important things. Sure, over the years my heart has been broken. How can your heart not break when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers, or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But broken hearts are what give us strength and understanding and compassion. A heart never broken is pristine and sterile and will never know the joy of being imperfect. <1E971883.gif> I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face. So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver. As you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less about what other people think. I don't question myself anymore....I've even earned the right to be wrong. So, to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me free. I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be. And I shall eat dessert every single day(if I feel like it).. MAY OUR FRIENDSHIP NEVER COME APART ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART!

What role can/should the govt play, and so far what definitation they have for this? I feel the first thing a p5 or latest by sec1 student must learn and think for himself is this question. He may take quite a few years to find the answer, hopefully most of us here have already found it, or exceed it??

Dear Japanese Cartoon Experts, I'm trying to find a Japanese Cartoon that featured a young Sorcerer in the ancient Japan era. This young sorcerer has a guardian which is cat lookalike creature. Someone told me it is the Kekaishi (结界师). An example is shown here at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmCDDFMkANI . But, still, this is not the one that I came across. The one that I once watched was a sorcerer whose grandfather is a supreme sorcerer. He appeared to be powerless at 1st but his potential slowly released with the help of a cat like creature. This cat looks more stylo that the above example. Do you know which cartoon am I referring to? Please advise me. Thank you very much. Regards,

I also understand there are round-the-clock perimeter patrols carried out by auxiliary police officers who are tasked with maintaining stringent security standards. Thus it baffles me that none of the auxiliary police officers on perimeter patrols came across the corpse, even when the body was decomposing. It takes about 30 hours for decomposition to occur in this climate and the stench can be detected kilometres away. It is strange that police officers who are trained to be alert did not stumble across the body, let alone smell the decomposition in the air. Lionel De Souza
