Hi bros. Am driving a 2006 EX Sunny. Recently noticed my wiper water runs out every 2 days after i fill it up. Just tried again just now and noticed after filling the water drips out.Any workshops to recommend fixing this? or any DIY methods available? Thanks

Hi all. Im thinking of flushing my old brake fluid. Presently using Dot 3. Is it ok to change to Dot 4 or 5? Wil it cause any problems? Thanks.

as above i know how to change it....its jus a screw at the right tyre..and an opening below the air intake...but jus askin....or any mechanics here??

hi old friends This morning wife was attempting to drive and the steering wheel had a sound. Basically the power steering fluid empty. Where can we buy this conveniently (we are around Tg Pagar area)? The car is at home (Tuas). Since this usually don't drain, so it is probably a leak also. But have to fill up before it can be driven. That's the problem. Many thanks! Pax

Hi, I just bought Penzoil manual gear oil which is 80W90 GL-5, i just saw my manual and it states that for my car recommanded is 75W85 or 75W90 GL-3/GL4. Can i still use my GL-5 on a GL-4 recommanded car ? My car is just a normal car without any LSD... Thanks

Need fellow bro advice on the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. the brake fluid had decreased till the minimum level and a thorough check was conducted and find no leak in teh master cyclinder. Neither was there any seepage around the wheel nipple. Can this be due to that the brake pad is wearing out? or other reasons? Greatly appreciated fellow bros advice and comments.

thanks~~~~ just changed to mintex brake pad .. instead of giving me better respone ... now its giving me those crook crook sound while braking ... i suspect my brake fluid need to be flush and change cause my car is 2 1/2 yr liao and running on 30k already any advice here what could be the problem .?? or shall i do the change of brake fluid anyway ... pretty tight on budget these days cause just lup one exos Lips Are Sealed any recommendation .? thanks in advance -
i know i shouldnt be saving on such stuff but u guys know lah .. times are bad .. i'm at my 30k now and 2yr .... need a good flush on the fluid cause im an auto and i apply brake often

my friend went to service his ride and was told by the mechanic that it's alright to use ATF oil inplace of power steering fuild.. it's pass 3 months already and his ride is still doing fine.. Anyone tried before?

hi all, just been told by autobacs i need to change power steering fluid / radiator coolant. 1) they said my radiator coolant a bit dirty, better to do a flush and change. 2) power steering fluid low - they didn't say dirty but they sort of suggested flush and change as well. car is a 3 year old hatchback, not sure if i've changed these stuff before, maybe not. do i just buy the oil and stuff and top up? follow their flush advice at a garage? thanks!

I'm clueless about such things - did a search and couldn't find any earlier post on this. Does any know whether there is a recommended service interval to drain/refill the Power Steering Fluid / Oil like for the ATF or brake fluid system??? I drive a Toyota Estima (2005 model) - just over 2 years plus so I have been slowly changing out the ATF / brake fluids, etc.

1. I read that : " DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid absorbs water and can absorb water from the air, which is why we should avoid opening the car's brake fluid reservoir. For the same reason, we should always keep containers of brake fluid tightly sealed. DOT5 fluid does not absorb water. This means the boiling point will remain relatively stable, but it also means that any water that does get into the brake system will tend to form pure water pockets, which could cause brake corrosion. Two other important things about brake fluid: DOT3 and DOT4 eat paint, so don't spill it on your car. Also, none of the different types of brake fluid should be mixed. They can react badly with each other and corrode our brake system." 2. Hence to use DOT 5, my current DOT 4 Brake fluid should be completely flush out and replace with DOT 5. Any Bros have done it before? any comments and advice? Is the process reversible? i.e. change back from DOT5 to DOT4? Please advise us. Thank you very much. Regards,

Hi there, 1. Going for 50K servicing tomorrow, how much brake fluid do I need for a 1.6L car? 2. Last minute, no choice, may just go petrol station to buy the fluid.
