Just replace all four suspension recently and re use back the old coil spring. While driving over road hump, can hear some sort of squeezing sound coming from the suspension. Any one could advise the problem? Car is Camry and replacement suspension using KYB. Thanks

Hi all bro, Recently after overnight parking have some problem opening car door using remote control next morning. Have to try a few times about 2 to 4 mins then it works. Is it sign of weaken car battery? After driving on this problem seems OK.( Remote works immediately) Last car battery change was September 2013. Battery at car remote is new one.

Hi all bros, Recently face problem to open car door in the morning after overnight parking. Need about 3 to 4 mins repeated pressing on the remote to activate the door. Only happen in the morning and after that no issue. Is this sign of weak car battery? Last replace was September 2013. Did replace remote battery but not effective. Do advice

I was at Ford Leng Kee on 5th of December for the Ford late night sale with a friend who was interested in the Ford Focus 1.6A 5Dr. When we were there, they asked if we needed this 5-point check, and since thinking that it was free. why not go for it? My air-con was in 100% working condition when I sent in the vehicle. When I took back my vehicle after we decided to leave, my air-con, which is the manual knob type, was switched all the way till '4'. I tried turning it back down, but my '1', '2' and '3' didn't work anymore. I called the service side immediately, but they insisted no one from their dept touched my air-con at all. I kept telling them I just want the personnel who turned my air-con to '4' to own up, since it was pretty clear whosoever left it there was the culprit. They then said there was nothing they can do, and I could have sent in the car with my air-con spoilt and now in turn pushing the blame to them. I told them I did not need them to pay for the repairs, I just need the culprit to own up, but they said there was nothing they could do. Angrily, I called up the sales personnel who was with us that night, and she said to call me back and hung up on me. She did not bother to call back, and so I called up the following day again, and all she could say was that she had informed her manager, and there was nothing she could do, and again, she said there was a possibility I sent in the car with the air-con faulty, again!! I repeated myself again I did not need them to pay for the repairs, I just need the culprit to own up, but she said there was nothing she could do either, and accused me of raising my voice at her!!! I sent in my vehicle on the very following Monday on the 7th of Dec, and till now, no one from Ford bothered to call back. I am not against Regent Motors or anything, even though I used to own a Peugeot and had really bad servicing experiences from them. But since I had to go through bad services from them again, I just wish to share my experience and let someone do the judging for me. All I wish for is some justice, and if anyone out there were to be interested in any vehicles from Regent Motors, kindly read through my story and comment, thank you.

Hi all bros, Recently when switching on the aircond, there is stale like mildew smell coming from the vent. This will be over after about 5 mins. Sent the car to a workshop and the technician mention that the cooling coil might be leaking and proceed to check the pressure by using some kind of pressure gauge. While doing that another older guy take a look and mention that the compressor is weak. At this point I'm a little confuse to which is the real problem. It was mention that replacement cost about $600+ to rectify the problem. Any bros here encounter such problem and who should I listen too? Car is 2006 Camry.Cheers.

Which car is more worth it considering the ford mondeo now at 161 with Arf $30k and S60 event car at $180k but arf s21k. Drive wise I think s60 is more responsive at 6.5s 0-100kmh but ford is also similar in bhp but still 6spd vs S60 8spd. I ask Volvo if it is the same as BMW 8Spd they not sure. The mondeo is very spacious considering with full sun roof for the 5door version.

Thinking of changing my car seat which I had been using for the last 10 years. It's fabric but really good on hot day Tried pu but don't really like, quality is poor after a few years and tend to glade during corner. This time round, thinking of going semi leather, cow hide. Realized there's many colors to go for, from grey to red, brown, blue, purple etc.. I'm a lazy person who don't maintain my car.. which is the best color that maintainence free? Actually I'm comtemplating between black and red. Red sure looks posh but I'm only driving a small car... As for black, I fear it's difficult to maintain

Hi all bros, Was driving towards JB this morning. Many cars at the queue at Singapore side checkpoint. Accidently scraped the car next to me. We both come out from the car and took pictures of the light scratch on the paintwork and each plate number. After done that we both drives on without taking any personnel particular of each other. My concern is can the other party make claim on this and should I report to my insurance...just in case. Cheers... -
I'm currently looking for a replacement for our family car. Considering the Ford Focus, which seems quite well equipped and reasonably priced but don't see many on the roads. Wondering if anyone on MCF is driving one and what it's like to drive on a long term basis (I intend to keep the next car for at least 5-7 years)? Thanks.

It didn't say exactly how much that would come to, but now it has. On the eve of its dynamic debut at the hands of Ken Block at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Ford has confirmed that its new hot hatch will pack 350 metric horsepower. Those reaching for their calculators will find that works out to 345 horsepower by our standards. The power output is backed up by 324 pound-feet of torque, capable of being boosted up to 347 for up to fifteen seconds at a time. Those figures come from a retuned version of the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo four as the one available in the Mustang, but produces over ten percent more power thanks to a new turbocharger, upgraded intake and exhaust, and a larger radiator. All that muscle will be channeled to all four wheels through Ford Performance's new all-wheel drive system with dynamic torque vectoring, launch control, and selectable drive modes, including a Drift Mode that (as you can see from the video below) allows the hot hatch to get more than a little sideways. Ford still isn't saying what those specs will translate to in terms of measurable performance figures, but as far as output goes, things are looking pretty good. The 30th Ford RS model already packs more power and torque than the new Honda Civic Type R (306 hp, 295 lb-ft), Volkswagen Golf R (292 hp, 280 lb-ft), Subaru WRX STI (305 hp, 290 lb-ft) or the Nürburgring-conquering Renault Mégane 275 Trophy-R (271 hp, 266 lb-ft) and Seat Leon Cupra (276 hp, 258 lb-ft). It even respectably holds its own against the more upscale BMW M235i (320 hp, 330 lb-ft), Mercedes A45/CLA45 AMG (355 hp, 332 lb-ft), and Audi RS3 (362 hp, 343 lb-ft). Whether it'll outshine them all in real-world conditions remains to be seen, but we're looking forward to finding out whenever Ford deems fit to drops those performance stats on us.

While buyers don't really care much about a commercial vehicle's century sprint timing, it is still nice to know how fast your vehicle is compared to its rivals. Or in this case, its brothers in the family. According to Consumer Reports, which prides itself in professional testing of products which anyone can buy, discovered a surprising find within Ford's recently launched aluminum-bodied truck F150 truck line-up. Usually, it is a given that the base variant is slower than the bigger-engined variant in the same line-up but in Ford's case, the smaller-engined model proved to be the faster one. Producing 325bhp and 508Nm of torque, the 2.7-litre V6 turbo manages to hit 100km/h from a standstill in 7.0 seconds while the 365bhp 3.5-litre V6 turbo can only do the same sprint in 7.2 seconds. According to officials from Ford, the new all-wheel drive Focus RS is set to have a 'drift mode'. Yes, you saw that correctly, it has a button that allows you to 'make controlled oversteer manoeuvres' and is one of the three driver modes available, including 'Track' and 'Normal'. Not much else was revealed at Geneva Motor Show where the Focus RS made its global debut, other than it making ' well in excess of 315bhp', which is surprisingly close to the new Honda Civic Type R's 306bhp.
