I wanted to buy carnauba wax and went to mustafa. But they only have turtle, waxco and Formula 1 carnauba wax. Wanted to get meguiars but they do not carry it. I have tried other turtle product and personally think it is not good enough. I am surprised how deep and shiny it is and how easy it is to apply. I was using meguiars NXT generation Tech wax 2.0 (liquid) but decide to try carnauba wax. Surprised that a cheap product can give such a good result. Better than NXT 2.0 in shine and deep color it bring out. Cost only $11 for the Formula 1 carnauba wax (paste) Happy user here. lol

Over the years safety has been a very important issue on Formula One, and it still is. Security has incredibly increased over the years with more and more safety gadgets, techlogies and car development techniques have been created to make F1 a safer motorsport. Well FIA continues its work in trying to grant that safety continues to evolve in F1 and maybe covering the cockpit might be in the plans. Here is a video from FIA's Intitute of Motor Sport Safety and Sustainability that shows tests of a possible cover of the cockpit. Check the video here What do you think? Is it a good idea? Hi guys, as my mum is getting older, I intend to get her some milk formula which is high in calcium, so at least her bones would still be maintained in one way or another. Anyone have any recommendation ? Is there such formula for the elderly people??? Thanks and Happy New Year to you guys!

Currently the formula is pegged to the top 8 professions. I think this introduces a few problems such as likely to cause a skew and biasness and hence increase the income gap. The more the top professions earn, the more the political appointees earns. It then naturally make sense to favour the top 8. This KPI is also not holistic. Too selective. How the lesser mortals are doing is not accounted for. Instead, I think it's better to change the formula peg to the median income of the ENTIRE population regardless of profession. This ensures that the PAs are only rewarded for improving the income of the OVERALL population. There should be an income ceiling of maybe 10-20x of the median income for the entire range of the PAs. If the median income is 3k/mth, then the top PA (President) should not earn more than 20x which is 60k (720k pa) and similar for the lower grades. That amount of income is considered decent. They would be able to afford most luxuries of life. Their children and grandchildren would be well taken care of. What's the point of giving them so much in excess? There's a limit to how much they could and should spend, especially as civil servants. Our President stayed in office for 2 terms. That 10yrs gave him unreachable (to lesser mortal) savings of 25m thereabouts. That's how many lifetime of earnings of the common citizen? Is there a need for so much? How to spend? Imagine MM and PM. No term cap. Moreover, they should be working more for the good of the people than for money. If they are paid more than they need to spend, then bribing them is pretty pointless isn't it? With the current system, I believe majority of the country's millionaires are civil servants. Is this correct? I personally think this is wrong. The wealthiest people in the country should not be civil servants.

Volkswagen is interested in formula one but has no intention of launching a Mercedes-like works team. That is the latest message given by Hans-Joachim Stuck, a former grand prix driver and now the motor sport representative of the German carmaker giant. "It is clear that we are looking at formula one," he is quoted as saying by Sport Bild magazine. "We are waiting for the FIA's decision in respect of the use of a world engine for formula one. If there is (a world engine) we will discuss whether to build it for formula one," added Stuck. He clarified that VW would only be an engine supplier and not have "our own team like Mercedes". The 'world engine' concept - with possible deployment across various motor racing categories - has been touted by the FIA. But regarding a new engine formula for 2013, the current discussions in F1 are about the likelihood of a 1.5 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder and a powerful KERS. It is believed that the world engine concept is not popular among F1's existing manufacturers. While pushing for smaller engines for 2013, the FIA is also keen to improve the fuel efficiency of the current 2.4 litre V8 designs. Ferrari's former engine boss Gilles Simon, now working with the FIA, said in the latest edition of In Motion magazine that F1 should "push forward with fuel efficiency". "If, as an engine engineer, I am given a maximum fuel load, I will try to give the driver the maximum horsepower possible, building the most efficient engine I can," he said. Simon added that the FIA wants "to try to adapt the rules we have in the run-up to the new engine formula". Source: GMM

F1 teams are close to agreeing upon a new engine formula for the six-year period beginning in 2013. Until then, development of the current 2.4 litre V8s will remain 'frozen', to be replaced thereafter by similarly powerful engines that use less fuel, emit less pollution and are affordable for the small teams. Spain's El Mundo Deportivo newspaper said an in-principle agreement has been reached for a four cylinder, 1.5 litre engine equipped with a twin-turbo and direct injection. The new formula would reportedly also involve KERS. "If F1 has to develop something helpful for real (road) driving conditions, then the best solution is for an engine that is turbocharged and GDI (gasoline direct injection," Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa told Autocar magazine at the Beijing Motor Show. "That is what we would support," he said. Mercedes' Norbert Haug agrees that smaller engines are likely for reasons of consumption and emissions, but warns that high technology needs to remain a crucial focus. "If you fly from Europe to Japan on a 747, you would use more fuel than an entire F1 season. We need to see the whole picture," he insisted.
