Is that a sign that the air-con is not cold enough or that the air-con air is much colder than the surrounding air hence massive condensation? But noticed this "smoke" is there almost all the time leh..

  6. It's common understanding that if the engine is in optimum combustion state, one of the output is water... However, I realised that on my car, and many others, it's common to see water dripping out of exhaust tip in the morning when first started up. After driving for a while, you dun see water dripping out of the exhaust tip in ANY car ! BUT, in the morning, when the engine first power up, it's supposed to be running rich for warming up ... So, running rich -> leads to water as byproduct <> Optimum combustion ? Anyone can explain ? A simple explanation I can think of is that, the exhaust becomes so heated up that the water turns into vapour before it reaches the tip ?

  10. I've just installed a pair of used Rainbow Dreamline Co-axial speakers in my rear doors. However, it has this irritating static sound when certain CDs are played. It's only at certain frequency that it sounds "crack/static" ... How to resolved it ? Could be due to the tweeter touching the cover ? Or tweeter spoilt ? P.S: It's just hooked up to the original speaker cables, no amp/crossovers. Please advise. Thanks

" Volkswagen AG will recall nearly 850,000 vehicles world-wide, including about 530,000 in the U.S., to replace the ignition coils in all 2001, 2002 and early 2003 models equipped with certain engines because they have experienced a higher-than-normal failure rate." 12. This question is posted regarding my dad's 1.5yr old Nissan Sunny (N16) Manual. He used to complain to me about some noise when moving off. I used to disregard it, as it sounds like induction sound. However, today I drove his car, and the noise is much louder now. The noise seems to be produced when moving off 1st gear, low rev, low speed. It sounds like when the gear bite, it's not smooth ... not metallic sound, but more like rubbing sound ... very low bassy sound. No prob in 2nd gear onward. Suspect clutch, 1st gear problem ? or not enuff manual transmission oil ? Anyone can advise ?

  21. Hi to all Got this Fram's Suredrain from my trip. Basically it's an adaptor fitted in place of the original engine oil plug. It acts as a stopper. When you drain, fit on the other end of the fitting with a hose and viola! No mess, it drains beautifully! Individual car-makers have their own specs. Good for owners who do their own servicings. Regards Lester
  22. Dear all Would like to share with a sales enquiry I made some time back from Nokian/ GT Radial. Dear Mr. Lester Yeong, [/size] Many thanks for your interest shown on our product. We do have this size, but only for Nokian Tyres, which is made in Finland. But, all my Nokian Tyres does not comes with White Lettering. Only my GT Radial tyres comes with white lettering, but only restrict to 225/75 R16, not 225/70 R16. As for prices, we are retailing this at S$ 180.00 per piece. This tyre will only be in approximately January 2003. This would suits your Hyundai Santa Fe perfectly. I have attached a picture of the tyre for your kind perusal. Once again, many thanks for your enquiry, and we look forward for your reply.
