Was previously advised by audio shops that it's better to just install component speakers at the front and the leave the rear ones stock, or change them to coaxials. Can anyone comment if this is better? Why not have front and rear component speakers?

Video camera Urive Albetross2 LED front blue lights disabled

Realised that the front blinking small LED blue lights was "off" unlike the earlier model installed just 1-2 mths ago. Actually i like the blinking lights as i feel that it warns the car in front of me that video is recording. Anyone know how to reactivate this blue LED lights to function while car is moving? The first unit is ok, full blinking LED lights both when park and when engine on/car in motion. -
Went to Autobacs to do a tyre rotation & balancing. The mechanic told me that there is a crack at my front control arms and suggest I change both to an OEM one for $600 incl labour. Though I can't really tell if its cracked or not, can I check if this is a critical component to be changed? I'm driving FD1 (now about 6 yrs old). Wondering if I can use it till COE expire..

Whenever I washed my car every few weeks, I observed that the 2 front wheel rims always have oil stains whereas the 2 back rims only have normal dirt. Is it normal or something is leaking somewhere?

Just came back from servcing, ws say my MIt colt left front brake is wearing twice as quick as the right. Any idea what wrongs The ws say is clipper and skimming the rotor as to fix the issue. Any experince Thanks for reading.

just wanna check.....does any of the A5 owners experience mist-up of windscreen when the aircon is on? I just collected my car today n when i on my aircon, the lower part of my windscreen misted up!!! if i de-mist, the aircon is almost cut off...is this normal for A5? If it is not normal, i will send it back to CA fo rectification.

Possible? Saw this maser running around mbfc without front no. Plate.. i tried to look for the no. Plate by staring at it for a good 2mins at the traffic junction but still dont see it. Edit: its a yellow maserati granturismo instead. -
Dear all, Any idea where can get WS to help me re-allign n glue back my bodykit? My bodykit install for 1yr plus alreay and to date rear bumper mis-alligned due to knocks etc. side skirt n body got gap inbetween n wire mash think clip came off. Thanks bros in advance -
Dear Gurus of Car Audio. I'm new to car audio as previously only using HU and direct to speakers. Recently changed car and got a 4-channel amp at the boot powering all front and rear speaker, total 4 speakers + 4 tweeters. The thing is, my rear main speakers are very bass heavy and didn't have enough mids and highs, while my front main speakers are much lesser in bass but focus on mids and highs. I took a long time to tune it properly, but if I tune to optimize for the driver, then my passenger at the rear seat will have very boomy sound. If I optimize for the back seat, then I will hear only mids and highs from my front speakers, and not much bass.. It's obvious because everyone is sitting in a different location. I tried to search around but didn't find a good way of tuning yet to balance out the frequencies, any ideas you can give? What is the common method used? Would like to hear your advice on this topic, thanks and appreciate it!

Hi all, What is the average price of front pair of camber bolt? One WS quote me SGD$100 for one pair of camber bolt. My front camber or toe was out of alignment.

hello guys, just gotten my car last week, lancer glx. my suspension now is 0 fingers from fender, running on 205/50R16. full lock is rubbing the front bumper edge. interested to know will changing the profile to 45 will help? or if i do camber settings to the suspension will it help in the situation? thanks.

Nearly cause an accident. How can the traffic comes to a complete halt and after passing the ERP. The traffic is smooth again. Must be some idiot joker decide to stop in front of the ERP and insert cash card. I am not refering to the car infront of me. Cos I know he stops last min also

When she sought help from the building's security, the officer at the information counter told her that there was nothing to be done until the car owner appeared. He added that even the police or Land Transport Authority could not set matters right because the car was within the building's jurisdiction. I decided to make my way to Thomson Plaza to resolve the problem. When my wife asked the same officer to use the public address system to inform the driver to remove his car, he said he could not do so without obtaining permission from the building's management. Much later, an announcement was made. My wife then asked if the management would wheel-clamp the car since it was parked illegally. The same officer said the management did not practise this. But another security officer who overheard our conversation brought out a wheel clamp, to my wife's surprise. When he walked to the car, intending to clamp it, he was stopped by the first officer, but after some discussion, the car was wheel-clamped. When I sought to speak with higher management, I was told there was no one on duty. So I waited for help from the police and, when they did arrive, they told me that the driver had appeared and was being instructed to remove his car. What was upsetting is that the building management rendered no help at all throughout the entire episode. This was compounded by the rude and unhelpful behaviour of the security officer. I would venture that if we had not taken matters into our own hands, such as informing him that we had sought police assistance, he would have continued to ignore our pleas for help. Dear All, Need to replace my damaged 2011 S60 front grill but was quoted S$650 by the agent. Checked around but no one carry any spare stock and need to wait for 2 weeks to indent and the cost is around the same (S$645). Hence checked online and found one US website supply OEM S60 grill at around S$380 (includes international shipping - around 10days). Like to check whether anyone buy Volve spare parts from voluparts.com before I pay the money thru google wallet. Thank you for the advise.

Hello bros, Went to pick up my car this evening which was parked in a HDB MSCP since morning and to my horror, I saw my car front bumper almost came off!!! I believe some irresponsible driver must have knocked into my front bumper hard during reverse and drove off. Strange thing is I can't find any signs of dent and crack on the bumper and in fact it is still in quite good condition save for a few fine scratches at the bottom which I believe is from the fall. But on closer look I found the holes on the bumper used to secure with plastic screws were broken. Even on the ground I was able to find a few cracked plastic material tightening screws lying around. But as the lower part of the bumper is still secured to the car front, in the end I managed to push back the whole bumper into position and drove off. I am really at a loss what to do next. In such scenario, should I claim my insurance or just find one workshop i can it repaired? By the way, I am at full NCD so this will surely be reduced isn't it? Given my scenario, approximately how much would it cost to repair (ie. no dent no real scratches just the tightening part is on)? Are there any workshop to recommend that opens on Saturday? I am staying around Pasir Ris area. And I believe I can still drive slowly to the workshop. Any advise what i should do ??? Appreciate any advise. Thanks in advance.

Just wanna check with all Optra (auto) owners: When gear is in "D" and you slowly move off from standstill by very, very gradually releasing your foot brake, I get this loud metal crunching noise. I brought this up to the SE at Ubi and Alexandra branch, and both got the standard "It's like that" response, claiming other Optras and other cars (with auto trans) have this same problem......"it's normal" they say. My golden question: Do you guys have this noise problem too?

Today very sueh. Bang a merz front the thing is there was only like 1cm scratch drivers was young girl , daddys car. we took photos and exchange particulars. from the way they speak to me it seems like they want a private settlements. but there is nothing to settle for in that moment i left the number, got couple of witness who agree to be witness of the whole incident and left the place. ive asked the young fellas dad to call me I need to know if the car has under 25 driving coverage .? what shall i do now.? very worried. thanks
