This puts things into perspective as to how fast the GT really is compared to other "bigger cc" engines. Here's a pretty new Golf GTI which came to me after "TLCed" by someone else who left pretty much swirls on the ride. Luckily, apart from some stained black trimmings, most of the defects were removed in a 2 step process and the solid red shine of the GTI was restored. The Process: 1) Wash n Clay 2) DA with Orange LC pad n IP ** This step got the paintwork back up to about 98%, the follow step was added just for that x-factor this solid colour keeps calling out for** 3) DA with white LC pad n PO106FF 4) Rinse again 5) DA with grey LC pad n Chemical Guy's EZ creme glaze 6) Hand application of CG's Factory Sealant Here's some of the defects and recovery made:

Saw the advestiment today. PI selling GTi at 109,999 w/ COE - 7 days delivery. Anyone know what's the caught? Seem attractive w/ this price. Any comment? Golf is always my dream car... now within reach but my head is over my heart...

Anyone going for the launch of this car? This car is a tiny monster, 1.4L with both turbo charge and super charge and produce 170BHP with 240NM at only 1750RPM. 0 to 100 at 7.9 sec. Spec wise slightly better than Mit Colt Version R. But its equipment level is high with 6 air bags, traction control, comes with 17" rims, DSG gear box.....etc. Awarded best engine 2006....all these info from Wheels Asia magazine. Holy sh*t! Wonder how much is VW going to price this little monster!! If I can't make it tomorrow, hope some bro here would go down and post the price here. Thank you.

Hi guys, today I saw a Toyota Vios then it somehow looked like a golf gti to me, as in without the front bumper. If you imagine that the front bumper part between the front grille and lower grille is not there, it looks damn like the Golf GTi leh...

Am deciding between these 2 at the moment. 1) A really beautiful car in my opinion the Golf GTI. Will be getting from parellel importer as will be cheaper by abt 10k. - $110k 2) A really ugly car, but power and handling is top notch for its money, the WRX STI-S. being less beng than the normal STI, i'd rather go for this and its cheaper by 4k too. Its also cheaper than the GTI by 10k. - $99.5k Really at a dilema at the moment. Would really like to own the GTI but at an extra 10k in car price would mean i gotta eat less every month... lol... What you guys think?

Hey guys... http://www.xxxxxxx.com/articles/article.p...pageid=1&view=1 I had the chance to drive it up to Cameron highlands with e R32, and I just had time to hammer out a less than decent review. The roads there all like those japanese touge found in japan...both simpang pulai and the tapah mountain passes...very good opportunity to whack the car upside down. It's ALOT better than the Golf GTi -drools- and easier to drive fast as compared to a WRX or EVO for lazy people like me...hehe....I hope for it to be my next car if I can afford it..it's a work of art

I'm planning to get a 2 year old Mk V golf 1.6 FSI. My idea is to upgrade the rims to 17" I would like to enquire what is the PCD of the rims I should be looking at? 5/114.3 5/100 or 5/120 In addition, I understand the GB is a 6 speed auto. Is it a DSG or normal tranny? Also what are the areas I should be on the lookout for in terms of wear and tear.
