  3. Just wonder, who did they survey ...... CNA news : Singapore workers happier than two years ago: survey SINGAPORE: Singapore workers are happier than they were compared to previous years. The overall average Work Happiness Indicator score was 57.4 out of 100, the highest since the survey was started two years ago. Singapore workers scored 55.5 in the 2010 survey and 56.4 in the 2009 survey Nearly 2,400 people (2,385) took part in the survey from August to September this year by JobsCentral, an online jobs portal. Sixty per cent of respondents also indicated they are satisfied with their current job. Advancement opportunities, reasonable work demands and salary were the top three most important work attributes for happiness. But the same three attributes were also rated poorly in terms of satisfaction level. The happiest group of workers, according to gross monthly salary, were those who earn between S$8,000 and S$9,000 per month. This group scored 67 points, much higher than the overall average of 57.4. Those who earn more than S$10,000 per month (the highest salaried group in the survey), scored 58 points. The unhappiest workers according to the survey were those who earn between S$6,000 and S$7,000 per month (55 points). - AFP/fa I will be happy also if I earn $8000/- to $9000/- a month. But what is the percentage of Singaprean earning that amount of money...
  4. Have been procrastinating for years. But still have not gathered enough courage to put my eyes through the laser. Any feedback from bros will be appreciated. Btw, I am 525 degree on each eye and no astig hor.
  5. Let's have a positive topic for a change. I like the smell of wet grass after a heavy downpour. It symbolizes to me a fresh new beginning. Rewind back to childhood, it is time to go out and play again. Can go jump into water puddles, can look for earthworms to squish. So many possibilities just waiting to be explored.
  6. Or get a pay cut but better work-life balance and still can be happy, is this possible? which may mean drive a smaller car, or leave in a smaller flat / house? go out chiong less? but maybe less stress and live few years longer, plus have a happy face instead of stressed-out face?
  7. Any idea if Polling Day on Saturday is considered as public holiday? ie. free parking at HDB carpark?

  9. ...now that his cure is here Premature ejaculation pill sold out in Singapore within first month Within its first month of release, the premature ejaculation (PE) pill, Priligy, has sold out in Singapore. Premature ejaculation (PE) is believed to be one of the most common male sexual health problems globally. About one in three men in Singapore suffer from PE, according to a study on Premature Ejaculation Prevalence and Attitudes (PEPA) of Singapore men. Priligy, to be taken orally, boasts the ability to treat one of the most common male sexual health problem. The survey conducted prior to the launch of Priligy also found that 77 percent with PE never discussed their sexual health with a medical practitioner. Its strong sales indicate that a growing number of local men are willing to discuss treatment options with doctors, says manufacturer, Janssen, a subsidiary of pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson. There could also be growing recognition that PE is a medical problem. "PE is a recognized medical condition and treatments exist to help PE sufferers," said Dr Lim Kok Bin, Specialist in Urology at the Raffles Hospital UroRenal Centre. He added that PE is not caused by inexperience or lack of willpower. Moreover, local men may be more willing to deal with the general embarrassment they might feel if they seek medical help. "Men tend to avoid talking about sexual matters with their physicians because of the stigma associated with the condition, and women seem reluctant to raise the issue with their men," Dr. Lim explained. "If a couple believe PE is an issue that is causing distress to one or both partners, they should talk to each other and discuss it with their healthcare professional," noted Dr. Lim. About Priligy Priligy is an oral tablet tablet that can be taken 1 to 3 hours prior to engaging in sexual activity, once a day. Patients should use Priligy only on the recommendation of their healthcare professional, and should only purchase Priligy from medical practitioners such as GPs and specialists. This form of treatment is available to men aged between 18 to 64. c--k

  15. Dear Mcfers, I would like to wish everyone a Happy CNY and have a safe drive over this period. Yesterday, I had received 2 calls from 2 friends asking for advice for their cars. One suffered a minor hit & run while the other wrap his 2 weeks old rims. The one that wrap his rims hit a litter on the road. He had gone back to the shop asking for replacement however they do not have the stock for a single rim or 4 of other design as it was a clearance sale when we purchased it 2 weeks ago. Now he can only find his new rims after CNY.... What I remember that almost every CNY, the junction at Yishun Ave 1 towards Mandai junction of Sembawang Road always have serious or fatal accident during the CNY period. Do you know of other junctions that alway have such cases during CNY?

U know, there is a traffic lights at the legendary 2million coffee shop. Anyway, its a 2 lane each direction road. I was on the right lane, 1st car, behind me, forget liao. left lane was taxi, 1st car. Lexus, 2nd car. (!@@!#!@ could not see the licence plate number) Story Start Light turn green, taxi floor, so i let him win lo..... (cos its a merge lane in front, then filter left into braddel right) i was on the right lane, just behind the taxi. then behind taxi is the lexus, of cos he is 3rd in the queue, just 1/2 car behind me. Reach the merge lane, still keep 1/2 car length beside me. my wife a bit kan cheong + angry..... "why so close one that !@#!#" then merge until very very merge liao. still 1/2 car lenght, of cos dun expect me to slow down let him pass me (if got baby in the car i will) was expecting him to either 1) slow down to guai guai be no.3 to eat into braddel road 2) hit my back door then he/she 1-second-horned me. WTF ! and he/she slowed down guai guai be no.3 I almost wanna stop engin at the single lane. and walk to the stupid !@#!@#!@ "car big i must let u go 1st ar?" (my car no hammer, just umbrella if need to self defence) Question am i obliged to let him pass at that situation? the merge lane over there got say left lane is the main road meh?
