Me and the gf have been thinking about going on a self drive holiday in Australia. We have absolutely no idea on what we are in for. Has any bros/sis here done this? Can any advice on what to expect, how and what to prepare, what to look out for, where is must go, etc? Must we like plan and book where to go and stay like way in advance? Will they be flexible should be get lost or something? Any tips and experiences on how to plan for a self drive holiday with be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Knn, went in jb on tues around 6pm, heavy rain, JB main road turning left towards Holiday Plaza b4 traffic light turning left to KSL City, kanna double pot holes, car nearly bounce off on one side. Went in yesterday, the holes are still there size of a rim, bros all beware the stretch where all the car wash and accessories shop opp.

One year has passed so quickly and year end is here again. Excellent time if you have friends, lover and $$$. Positively suicidal if you don't. Remember to party like no tomorrow because according to the Mayan calendar, there really isn't.

Heard from my Malaysian friend that last couple of week weather was rather bad on NSH...very heavy rain. As School holiday is around the corner, those driving in to malaysia for short trip during holiday drive with care please!!

If I rent a car in US for a couple of days, will the rental companies provide the motor insurance too? They do not seem to offer insurance for high performance vehicles like Ferrari but states that insurance is compulsory. How to get coverage then? I dun have this problem for Australia. Thanks.

My wife just received a $30 fine from URA (cisco) at Yishun Swimming Complex... she asked me whether its free on Public holiday and i told her yes... now i have to swallow the $30 fines Just check from URA website but cant find the details.... Can anyone confirmed that URA carpark is not free on PH?? -

Hi, Please kindly share with me your experience for Holiday in Taiwan. I am going for my wedding shot in Kan Ting ... So after that we going for 5 day F&E. Please suggest some place to visit. This will be our route plan before we take flight at Tai Pei Airport back to SG. Kao Xiong ----> Tai Zhong ----> Tai Pei We have not book our hotel for the 5 day F&E, cos we dunno our designation yet so if possible pls suggest some hotel in this 3 areas. No need to be very good, as we are looking for a decent stay. Eat, Shop, Play, hot spring ..... ??? Thanks and Regards
