This Vin Diesel lookalike takes ‘no chill’ to the next level when he gets honked for driving recklessly. In this video, a driver was on his way to work when he meets a short-tempered and illogical Vin Diesel (SG version). The video starts with the cam car driver making a left turn on Circuit Road. He notices a white Honda CRV cutting across the double white lines as he does so. Firstly, crossing double white lines is not allowed in Singapore. Drivers found guilty will receive a $150 fine and 4 demerit points. Secondly, drivers who fail to give way to oncoming traffic at a controlled or uncontrolled junction will receive a fine of up to $200 and 4 demerit points. Thirdly, drivers who fail to indicate or provide warning signals while driving will receive a fine of up to $150. In this video, a cam car is driving in the middle lane towards Paya Lebar Road. A silver Honda Shuttle is traveling right in front of him. After both vehicles pass a junction, the Shuttle shifts to the left lane. The Mercedes in front of it quickly mirrors his actions, blocking the silver vehicle. Cars that run on hydrogen and exhaust only water vapor are emerging to challenge electric vehicles as the world’s transportation of the future. At auto shows on two continents Wednesday, three automakers unveiled hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to be delivered to the general public as early as next spring. Hyundai Motor Co. will be the first to the mass market in the U.S. It unveiled a hydrogen-powered Tucson small SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show that will be leased to consumers. Honda also revealed plans in Los Angeles for a car due out in 2015. Earlier, at the Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota promised a mass-produced fuel cell car by 2015 in Japan and 2016 in the U.S. Hydrogen cars are appealing because unlike electric vehicles, they have the range of a typical gasoline car and can be refueled quickly. Experts say the industry also has overcome safety and reliability concerns that have hindered distribution in the past. But hydrogen cars still have a glaring downside — refueling stations are scarce, and costly to build. Consumers can expect costs in line with some luxury models. In Tokyo, Toyota promised a price of $50,000 to $100,000, and as close to the lower figure as possible. That’s comparable to its Lexus luxury sedans, but a range that makes the once space-age experiment with fuel cells more credible. Hyundai said it will lease the Tucsons for $499 per month for three years with $3,000 down. And Hyundai is offering to pay the hydrogen and maintenance costs. The company will start leasing in the Los Angeles area, where most of the state’s nine fueling stations are located. California lawmakers have allocated $100 million to build 100 more. Honda wouldn’t reveal any pricing details. Even as battery-powered and hybrid-electric cars took on conventional gasoline models in the past decade, automakers continued research into hydrogen fuel cells, said Paul Mutolo, director of external partnerships for the Cornell University Energy Materials Center. The next-gen hot hatch will still stand out in a crowd. The last couple of days have been busy in the Civic Type R world. Honda shared some "spy" photos, and then we caught video of the car in action sporting a single janky exhaust pipe. Not to fear, hot Honda fans – that pipe was just for testing purposes. A new round of decidedly unofficial Type R spy shots feature another red-wrapped prototype with all its production components, including the triple exhaust finishers out the back. Whereas Honda offered up just a pair of photos, our spy photographer grabbed 14 as the prototype went by. We already know the next Type R won't be as flamboyant as the outgoing model, but these shots offer a bit more context as to just what that entails. The front fascia features a large lower intake flanked by a pair of side intakes that look clean and aggressive without being shouty. The theme continues along the sides where we see rocker trim with a winglet in front of the rear wheel, similar to the current model. The biggest difference comes at the rear. Yes, that spoiler is large and in-charge, but barring clever panels hiding vents under the camo wrap (which actually is a menagerie of Rs when you look close), we'll have a modest pair of side vents flanking the center-exit exhaust. It's a far cry from the current Type R with its large corner vents and a plethora of contrasting angles. As for what's under the skin, expect to see a tweaked version of the current 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, turning just the front wheels with a six-speed manual. A slight bump in power is virtually guaranteed, but with front-wheel drive enduring as the order of the day, don't expect much more than the current Type R's 306 hp (228 kilowatts). It was back in August when Acura confirmed the surprising return of the "Integra" moniker, but parent company Honda is actually the first to revive the fabled moniker for a production car. Meet the confusingly named 2022 Honda Integra, a Chinese compact sedan molded after the eleventh-generation Civic. Coming from the Guangqi Honda joint venture in the People's Republic, the Integra will be assembled in Guangzhou whereas the Civic upon which is based comes from the factory in Wuhan (yes, that Wuhan) belonging to the Dongfeng Honda joint venture. The two flavors are largely identical, but the new Acura version does look sleeker courtesy of its slimmer matrix LED headlights flanking a slightly larger grille with a honeycomb pattern. The changes continue at the back where the LED taillights adopt a sharper look and occupy less space on the tailgate. Dual exhaust tips and a subtle trunk lid spoiler contribute to the Honda Integra's youthful appearance, as does the faux diffuser bisected by the built-in fog light. Fresh colors like Emerald Blue and Fiery Yellow separate it from the regular Civic, and there are new wheel designs up to 18 inches in size. There are no interior images at the moment of writing, but we're expecting the cabin to be essentially carried over from the Civic. The engines are also a mystery for now, although the "240 Turbo" badge on the trunk lid indicates the car has 240 Nm (177 lb-ft), which is exactly what the 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine develops in the Civic where it sends 180 hp to the front wheels via a CVT. The CN-spec Integra gets a six-speed manual, much like the Civic Hatchback.

The bite-the-back-of-your-hand beautiful rendering is complemented by a 2.4-liter Earth Dreams i-VTEC powerplant, and in the pixel wizard’s vision, the four-pot motor develops 276 horsepower at 8,600 rotations per minute. Pictured on Enkei forged wheels and Bridgestone Potenza semi-slick rubber, the design study is reassuringly minimalistic on the inside. The 2024 Honda Prologue is due to arrive in 2024, and its name signifies its role as the forerunner of a series of new, high-volume, battery electric vehicles from the Japanese brand. This includes a luxury, performance SUV for Acura, which is also slated to go on sale in 2024. No name for the Acura has been revealed yet. Call the GM Both the Honda Prologue and its Acura counterpart, as well as the two vehicles' battery systems, are being developed in partnership with General Motors. The two SUVs will use GM's flexible BEV3 electric vehicle architecture and Ultium battery management system—the same system used in the likes of the forthcoming 2022 GMC Hummer EV full-size pickup, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV, the Chevrolet Silverado electric pickup truck, the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq SUV, and the Cadillac Celestiq sedan, not to mention a number of other future GM EV models. Same Bones, Different Looks Despite sharing many mechanical pieces, both GM's and Honda's EVs will look very different. The styling of the bodies and interiors of these vehicles will come from each automakers' respective design studio. We've been told the upcoming Honda Prologue was designed at Honda's design studio in Los Angeles to meet the expectations of North American customers. There are few details about these upcoming North American-focused Honda and Acura electric SUVs. Both could be larger, three-row family utility vehicles that are specific to the North American market or the two could be smaller models aimed at tapping into several markets. Gardner only noted that the Prologue is designed to be highly competitive, with the functionality required to meet diverse needs. Anticipated annual sales volume is expected to fall somewhere between the Honda Passport mid-size SUV, of which 22,000 units have sold through May 2021 in the United States, and the three-row Honda Pilot SUV, of which Honda sold 62,000 such models in the first five months of the year. The Honda and Acura models are being designed to stay true to each brands' respective DNA: mainstream for Honda, performance for Acura. Honda Plans to Make Its Own EVs and Batteries The Honda Prologue and its still-unnamed Acura counterpart will use GM's flexible EV architecture, but Honda plans to launch a new series of EV models in the second half of the decade based on its own, forthcoming, "e:Architecture". To be profitable, Honda knows it also needs to make its own batteries in North America. "Other markets around the world have a more robust battery production industry and that has to happen here in North America to go forward to achieve the goals of hitting the volumes that everybody is looking to do," Gardner said. He declined to provide a timeframe. Honda is doing its own independent research on solid-state batteries. The industry is pursuing solid-state batteries for the technology's ability to provide a greater driving range, as well as its reduced costs. Honda will have a "demonstration line" to begin testing the tech this fiscal year as it aims to make solid-state batteries available by the end of the decade. Honda's EV History Honda is a bit of a laggard in the battery electric vehicle game, choosing to rely on its two-motor hybrid system for electrification instead. The Japanese carmaker lacks a dedicated electric vehicle for the North American market. Past EVs, including the Fit EV, the FCX Clarity fuel cell sedan, and the latest Clarity EV, have all been discontinued in the U.S. Honda may be a leader in efficient vehicles with internal combustion engines (and its history with electric vehicles dates back decades), but the automaker has not been perceived as an EV leader in recent years, Gardner admitted. Honda's New Global Electric Vehicle Targets Now the automaker is playing catchup with a pledge by Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe to become carbon neutral by 2050. In major markets, including North America, the target is for BEV or fuel cell electric vehicles to account for 40 percent of sales by 2030; 80 percent by 2035; and 100 percent by 2040. Gardner would not say how much Honda is investing in EVs other than to note R&D spending for the next six years will be 10 percent higher than in previous years. In the near term, Honda's strategy is to introduce a higher percentage of gasoline-electric hybrids in its model mix. "We know people who have a good experience with a hybrid are likely to buy a BEV," Gardner said. Building more hybrids in North America will help Honda prepare to make EVs in the future. Currently, Honda builds the Accord, CR-V, and Insight hybrids in the U.S. Gardner would not share if Honda will join the electric pickup craze by adding electric motors and a battery pack to the Ridgeline pickup. Fuel Cell and Autonomous Vehicle Work Continues Honda's larger EV strategy includes continuing to work with GM on fuel cells. Honda has also been working in partnership with GM and its autonomous vehicle brand Cruise since 2018. Cruise is preparing to launch the Cruise Origin robotaxi. The Japanese automaker will use the bones of the Origin for its own autonomous vehicle, which will feature a body and interior designed by Honda. Honda also announced a joint venture with Hitachi to make electric motors. Some Honda and Hitachi suppliers have merged to develop components for EVs and automated vehicles. In China, Honda formed an alliance with Chinese battery maker CATL, and the first CATL batteries will go into a Chinese-market electric vehicle next year. Here's the teaser.

After killing off the Clarity EV last year, Honda is ending production of its hydrogen fuel-cell and plug-in hybrid Clarity models this summer, Autoblog has reported. The decision reportedly came due to weak demand and Honda's new focus on electrification, according to Nikkei. The Clarity fuel-cell vehicle was handicapped in the US from the get-go with a high $71,200 price tag and a lack of hydrogen refueling infrastructure in the US. With the end of the Clarity EV, PHEV and fuel-cell models, Honda is currently building no electrified models at all in the US. However, the company said that it will build enough Clarity fuel-cell models for lessees into 2022 and will provide support for the foreseeable future. Honda previously announced that it would release an electric car for 2024 and plans to only sell zero-emissions EVs by 2040. Those could include EVs, but Honda hasn't given up yet on hydrogen either, having struck a deal with GM to develop fuel cell vehicles. However, most hydrogen in the US is made by reforming natural gas, so the fuel still releases greenhouses gases even though only water comes out a fuel-cell vehicle's tailpipe.
