I am thinking of getting a Hyundai Getz 1.6 manual.Have gotten a price $53,888 from one of the dealers.Is there any good cars to recommend that are not too expensive pricing around this.Must be manual cars.Pls advise

Hi all. As above, I follow my brother-in-law to collect his new Matrix yesterday night. The engine was on as the SE was giving orientation to him. I noticed that the smell from the engine heat was rather terrible, it smelled like something being burned. He too did notice it too. Then when he drove back to his car park and leave it there for an hour before returning to it, he noticed that the floor at the front of the car was very wet, seem to be from the cooler or so. Like to find out from you guys out there if you happens to encounter these problems too? Whether the problems mentioned are normal and is ok? Or rather these are problems faced with brand new cars for the first time or only Hyundai models? Hope to find out what's happening. Thanks in advance!

The voluntary recall over the next one and a half years will affect 204,490 Santa Fe units made between November 1 in 2000 and January 18 in 2004, the ministry said. The wiring fault affects the vehicle's supplementary diesel heater and could lead to damage to an electric terminal or a downgrade of the heating system, the ministry said. Hyundai and its sister company Kia Motors control 70 percent of South Korea's car market. - AFP -
hi ppl.... just wondering if its worth getting a new hyundai Getz 1.6 auto at 64K? cos i just went to test drive a manual set.it seems quite powerful for a stock.... cos i can drive up to 80kph in 3rd gear.... but will there be a different if its a auto car? is it better or worst? thanks in advance

Just saw some net news that they will be introducing their all new design model next year called 2006 ... which would you buy ? 1) Hyundai Sonata - Newly design engine (NF) and more sexy look (some spy shots) 2) Going to be same platform as the new Sonata but cheaper I think 3) This one with a new L6 engine ... hmmm ... interesting.

As we noe, Hyundai how has their "new" technology engine of their own. i doubt hyundai car can achieve better power and FC with their new engine however if they can achieve better FC will be good enough for SG ppl. Thus i wish for those who driving any hyundai with Cvvt engine to post their FC here to see if it is much better than previous engine

Happen to come across the news yesterday night that a Hyundai Matrix caught fire suddenly from the engine compartment when travelling along Loyang, the car is beyond repair. I also know that this is the 2nd case that Matrix caught fire cos the 1st case happens last year but the driver was killed when his car caught fire! Really bad news for Hyundai huh!
