Hi, If I just want a simple wide angle reverse camera with monitor installed that can be activated by reverse gear, any place that can do this for a reasonble price? Also, no need TV tuner or DVD player. Just need a reasonable quality set, no need super hi-tech features but also don't want those that will spoil within 6 months. Anyone have lobang can tell me roughly what price range, model/brand and which shop do that? Thanks. Another question, can the reverse camera be activated without going to reverse gear, and then i can use the monitor instead of the rearview mirror?

Yes this post is a modification to wat bro Passion posted. the gahmen always say "no double standards" so F1 cars, being cars, also should have ERP unit installed. and yes let the world laugh at us. btw, i know its impossible but i'm just saying it to vent my anger. its getting preposterous. imagine next time just outside ur hdb house carpark got erp. then the next day they happily announce that more COEs will be released =====> More jam equal increase ERP rates -
Chinese automaker Chery to supply engines to Italy's Fiat BEIJING - FIAT Group has announced it will buy engines from China's Chery Automobile Co, expanding the ambitious Chinese automaker's foreign ties just a month after it signed a deal with Chrysler to export cars to the United States. The agreement comes as global automakers look to China as a low-cost production base for export and the country's own small but fast-growing competitors try to expand sales abroad. Chery, China's biggest domestic automaker, will supply 100,000 1.6 and 1.8-litre engines a year for use in cars manufactured by Fiat in China and abroad, the two companies said in a joint statement. 'The agreement will give Chery increased competitiveness on the international market,' Yin Tongyao, president of 10-year-old Chery, said in the statement. Chery and Fiat Group, a subsidiary of Italy's Fiat SpA, are looking at 'further cooperation,' Fiat Group CEO Sergio Marchionne said. Chery, based in the eastern city of Wuhu, signed a deal with Chrysler LLC in July on a low-cost production venture to export cars to the United States. Chrysler CEO Tom LaSorda said the two companies would jointly develop future models. China overtook Japan last year to become the world's No. 2 vehicle market after the United States. Its automakers exported 325,000 vehicles last year, about 80 per cent of them low-priced trucks and buses for other developing markets in Asia, Africa and Latin America, according to the government. Chinese producers are eager to expand to US and European markets, but industry analysts say they lack the technology to meet environmental and safety standards on their own. More are expected to make deals like Chery's in hopes that foreign partners will improve their skills. 'The agreement means that Fiat, who had been testing Chery's engines during the past year, have recognized the technologies and quality of the engines developed by Chery,' said Chery's Deputy General Manager Zhou Biren. Last year, Chery reported sales of about 310,000 cars, with 40,000 of those exported. Its target this year is 390,000 cars, with 70,000 sold abroad. The company assembles vehicles with partners in Iran, Malaysia, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil and Egypt. It announced plans in March to open its first Latin American factory in Uruguay with an Argentine partner. -- AP

Can someone give comments on the car body of the 1.6 Lancer or cars in the same category. Are there also as many struct braces available for Altis, Sunny, Latio, Avante, Subaru TS, Focus, Civic, Renault, Opel, Peugot etc.? Are the car bodies in the 1.6 category, really that weak or is it Lancer only? By installing all the struct braces for Lancer, does it only make Lancer on par with other cars. Those established manufacturer, e.g. Cusco, Greddy or Tanabe, they at the most make Front and rear upper struct, rear lower tie bar, and under brace for high end cars. I have just installed a solar film and found that waves of lines betweent eh solar film and window. Is this normal since they use water between the film and water and pushes that out? would that go away with time or i need to bring the car back to the installer?

Hi Guys, got from a friend here a twister 4x200W amplifier, and thinking of diying the install for an active setup on my current system of 1 x pioneer 9650 with 1 x pair of phd MF components. I've never done this before, and I hope gurus here can contribute to the steps involved, ie, sequence and necessary hard presets like setting the HU to active mode etc, and equipment necessary to get the setup up and running, ie. fuse box, sets of cables and core size, etc. I've posted a draft of my setup, and was wondering if a fuse box is necessary since the amp already has a 40A one. Hi guys, I have an installer to install one amp in my car and I want to install a 2nd amp myself. Current amp is a 100w x 2ch driving my front component speakers. I also have a pair of rear coaxials driven by the HU. I intend to add in another 2ch amp myself to drive one sub woofer. I've seen my installer install the 1st amp so it's pretty easy task to me. Questions I have: 1. How do I hook up this 2nd amp to the existing fuse wire and HU remote terminal? I understand from my installer that only 1 fuse is needed in the car. Can I just use wires to connect up both the GND and REM terminals of both amps? 2. Do I need to upgrade my car battery as it's only a 30amp battery? My car is only about 1 month old though... Hope some expert bros here can provide some advise. Thanks in advance

As above.. My stock car battery is near one year liao.. heard that should change after one year.. Any bros and sis here know any lobang ? BTW any conventional methods to diagnose weak battery ? Thanks !

dear bros, my wife was telling me when her colleague send her home, the car has in car TV (could receive Ch 5). the same display switch to rear view when reversing.... as i am new to such in car systems, wonder how much it would cost to install that system.... pls advise....

hv 1 set of 6 pt grounding kit n 2 batt terminals. wires hv been measured n cut to specified lengths for my ride (proton wira) n ends hv been prepared w lugs already soldered on. looking for help to install as totally unfamiliar w electrical issues. willing to pay token sum. anybody know of ppl dat do diy grounding ie not a shop but an enterprising individual pls giv contacts or reply thru PM. tks

Just got my new ride...a 10month old Civic ES..thinking of installing a pair of fog lights (triangle type) any1 knows where to do it apart from Kah motors. Or does anyone knows how much Kah Motors charge for a pair. I found them selling on Ebay for abt US$30..with shipping abt US$70. I just upgrade my speakers, but notice that the time alignment, base focussing is totally off. Is this normal? Do I also need to retune my sub-woofer amp too? Although my new Focal speakers sound clearer, but totally out of focus. The sound is "scatter". Anyone can advise? Most likely will go back to the shop to retune after my speakers run in.
