Saw a couple of old men fish at kallang river, the stretch from behind the upper boon keng road. Is it legal to fish there? they caught a couple of good size fish as well, looked like a good past time when bored. Any idea if the fish is safe for consumption?

What is the parking arrangement on the road in front of CAGE, Kallang. See lot of cars parked there on the roadside but don't recall seeing any parking sign. Is it free parking? Going there tomorrow for a football game.

This morning, I was caught in a traffic jam caused by a fatal accident. The exact location is a bridge linking Geylang Road to Kallang Road, just before the ERP gantry. Saw a blue tent on the extreme left lane, which tells me there has been a fatality. The accident vehicle was a small truck, which was on the extreme right lane. An old lady was sitting on the kerb. Two TP cars and three bikes were already there. Then a Police van arrived, presumably with investigators. Anyone saw it?

But the man, who wanted to be known only as Mr Chang, did not stop. His first instinct was to flee. This was around the same time that four vicious attacks that left one man dead and three others severely injured occurred at Kallang and Sims Drive. Police have arrested five of the seven men suspected to be involved in the attacks. The Malaysians, from Sarawak, are work permit holders here. He ran for about 200m. He claimed the men stopped chasing him when they saw passengers alighting from a taxi and two private cars near the block.

CNA reports : Gang of 7 believed to be behind spate of attacks in Kallang; 5 arrested A gang of seven was believed to have been responsible for the recent spate of attacks in the Kallang area on Sunday, which left one man dead and three others seriously injured. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested five of the suspects. Three were arrested on Monday and another two were arrested at about 9.50pm on Tuesday. The police said the latest two arrests were made at Woodlands checkpoint when the suspects entered Singapore. One of the two is believed to be involved in the murder case at Kallang. All the attacks occurred on Sunday. On Monday evening, three Malaysians were nabbed. The trio from Sarawak, who are between 21 and 26 years old, work here as general workers. They were caught near their dormitory in Syed Alwi Road after a 24-hour island-wide operation that involved 100 police officers. The CID, which described the crimes as "vicious and violent", believed seven people had a hand in the attacks. All should be given the minimun 'Life' sentence with canning........ Bravo to the Men-in-Blue ......

gentlemen i need some advice. if i need to drive from kallang mrt to changi business park in weekday mornings say 815am, what is the recommended expressway to take? PIE or ECP? based on what i see from the map, from kallang mrt to hit PIE (changi airport), it seems like i need to ply via KPE-> PIE, which is kind of troublesome. pls advise. thank you

What's up at Kallang? Every evening when I go home, I always encounter a heavy or massive jam on the PIE. The sign says "heavy/massive jam until Kallang". What's up at Kallang that causes the bottleneck? -
I want to travel from Kallang PLace to Expo during evening time. I was thinking of going to Upp Serangoon Road to connect to PIE (Changi). However, i am sure Upp Serangoon Road will be jammed pack during 6+pm. Is there any alternative faster route for me to access PIE Changi? thanks... ps: i hv thought of using ECP, but going down to Beach Road area to access ECP is kinda detour for me, i feel.

Hi Bro, I think you should be taken off the road soon. Early morning 7plus, you try to endanger other road users' lives at least 3 times. First you, turn right on a lane which is supposed to go straight only just because you did not want to queue up like the rest of us. Want to play punk right. Next, seeing a bus in front, you try to lane change without checking your blind spot and steer back into your lane when you spotted vehicle A last minute. I bet vehicle A driver must have gotten a stock right in the early morning from your stunt. Then you decided to try that stunt again immediately after the vehicle A pass you even though there were vehicle B behind vehicle A. In the end vehicle B has to slow down to let you pass in order not to go into an accident situation. Then you lane change back to the front of the bus again because as the van in front is slow. Then you again lane change back to the front of the van when there was just enough space for you to squeeze through. If you are rushing to hell, please leave others alone. Go somewhere where there are no people and do whatever you want to to kill yourself. Pui Pui Pui to you reckless and inconsiderate driver.
