Hi, My dog, a white maltese by the name of Toby, have run away from home and have gone missing since today 7pm. The last time we hear abt him is he is somewhere near my place, which is Blk 164 Woodlands Street 13. I have attached pictures of him. If anyone saw him or come across any pple trying to sell maltese or give away, please contact me immediately 90620930 (chris) or Jasmine 90683337. Some basic description of him; 1) white short hair 2) doesn't bark even if he see stranger 3) long hair only at tail. We are feeling very worried and sad of our Toby. Please keep all negative comments away! Thanks all Chris

My first starting thread for 2009. Following the thread that someone posted that MCF is damn boring ( with bo liao and non-constructive topics) , I asked...why complain about it being boring when the reasons behind it are not entirely known. So I thought. Isn't it better to know from various sources what makes a forum interesting? Or is it some issue , that cannot be helped becos the intelligent and interesting ppl are just staying away from MCF just leaving the....boring and complainers to post threads and topics? So it seems like a vicious cycle, where the constructive ppl are staying away becos the non-constructive want their way or the non constructives are staying put and the constructives are going kaput? ( nice rhyme) So for 2009...which shall it be? Happy New Year!

I just changed my suspension but i intend to keep my original one as it is only 5 mths old. However, i don't know if the absorbers will degrade or leak over prolong period of unuse in my storeroom. I just keep them in a box without additional wrapping or etc. Any expert here can advise? Or should i sell it away? Thanks.

Can someone advise the following situation. I am selling my ride to someone(not to the dealer)in Aug. My new car will only come in Nov. Question : How to keep this old plate until my new car arrives ? What about the old car that I am selling, can get a new plate for the buyer ? Thanks.

Very interstingly, I observed that the lingos or catch phrases that you are familiar with or use can be used to associate which era you spend your youth in. For example, in my JC days, almost every radio dedication ends with a "stay cool and funnnnky". But most of the time i have no idea what they mean???? Here are some more that I see many people using, anything familiar or what is the origin actually? - yo, yo... (followed by moving your hands up and down with fingers doing flemming's left or right hand rule in a spastic manner) - whats up man? - suckz - rocks - so lamn - cooool - alright man! - YES! - you the man - whatever - my bad

Someone in the healthcare service told me abt this.... Nowadays nurses need to be in good shape. (BMI)must be within the satified range. Any extra fats,out of shape, look funny, you are out of the league. This is a just one pre-recruitment criteria. Many hospitals have set this high standard. And even during work, they are told to put on make up to look good . Some nurses that i know lament all this requirements. Bad news for those who are fat but inspired to be nurses. Well, they may not be so lucky now. For the veteran, they too are given time and notice to work on the extra pounds. PAI TAN!!!!!

I have a notebook and it keep resetting. The situation is as follows: after using, there is a blue screen appear in about 1 sec with some wordings and it reset. And when it boot up, a while later the blue screen apppear in one sec and it reboot again. Is this due to the CPU? HDD? RAM? faulty? Is there any software that I could use to check? BTW it is out of warranty and I do not want to bring it back to the manufacturer for repair. Thanks for your advise.

It has been hot and humid for the past week. So hot that I avoid eating in non-aircon places during day time. Night time sleep also very uncomfortable. Some more I bathe using cold water but the moment I step out of bath room, start to sweat already. When will this crazy weather end?

Juz joined a company who extends the Shell Corporate Fleet Card (currently 14%) to all employees but enjoy no loyalty points. Petrol spend will be deducted thru payroll. Or should I stick with existing credit card arrange. DBS Esso Credit Card + Esso loyalty point? Anyone work this out or compare before? Your opinion please. -

When you guys get your credit cards, do you tear away or keep the PIN notification letter? I will tear it away immediately so as to not tempt myself from withdrawing on credit... What do you do with them?

Hi guys, I tried to find the cost of number plate transfer on one-motoring, but was unable to do so. There are different costs, I believe, depending on how it is done 1) transfer between 2 existing cars under a single owner 2) replacement of an unallocated car plate of a new car with an old one to be scrapped/exported Does anyone know how much does either costs? Thank you -
Hi MCFs, Just curious to find out from the rest whether u keep yr car spare tyre (not tummy ) inside the car. Cos i'm thinking od removing it to reduce car weight. Any comment?

Lets say I want to get a car just solely for admiring and keep in my garage. Lets say a new car like Subaru R1 or Chery QQ. Can I just buy it off a PI/AD and tow it back to my garage? Or does the PI need to inform LTA that this particular car will not be registered. Alternatively can I ship in a car that I like with no intention of registering it. Do I still need to pay the ARF? Ok maybe custom & excise tax must pay, but how about ARF? Or maybe I strip down the car before importing it in as parts and body frames, it is possible. Anyone with some comments?

Hi all.... Recently, a friend ask me for advice about his car. He's driving a 5.5 yrs 1.5L jap car which left 1.5yrs of loan. As he's working from home and seldom use car(maybe once a wk in the afternoon), he's thinking of changing to a OPC Kia Picanto planning a 2yrs loan. Should he keep his existing car or change new car? I am lousy in all this figures and thought maybe all bros here can help. What do you think? Thanks.
