As above. Sighted one heavily modded Kia Pica around Hougang. Good grief, saw it a couple of times. Always had the impression that it looked like the Golf GTI. Nonetheless, kudos to the owner for doing a great job modding his ride. It doesn't look like a pica, other than the distinctive roundish front headlights.

- New Kia Soul to feature two gasoline engines and one diesel engine - Kia Soul production model will appeal to the 'young-at-heart' - World premiere of new Kia Soul to be held at Paris Show on 2 October (SEOUL) July 16, 2008 -- Kia Motors Corporation has confirmed that its all-new production model, the Kia Soul, will be marketed globally with a choice of three highly efficient engines (depending on individual markets), when it goes on sale in early 2009. The most powerful engine will be a 2-litre gasoline unit. A smaller capacity 1.6-litre gasoline engine will be offered in most countries, alongside a 1.6-litre diesel engine featuring a VGT (variable geometry turbocharger). Both the 1.6-litre, four cylinder, 16-valve DOHC power units are based closely on engines fitted to the hugely successful, European-built, Kia cee'd. Kia has also confirmed that the new model, which will be available exclusively as a five-door hatchback with front-wheel drive, will have an overall length of 4,105 mm, and a 2,550 mm wheelbase. Height will be 1,610 mm and width 1,785mm - excluding door mirrors. To be manufactured in Korea from November 2008 for overseas markets, the Kia Soul will defy conventions and appeal especially to the young and the young-at-heart - whatever their age. Kia Soul is not a replacement for an existing vehicle and is destined to play a unique role within Kia's global product line-up. Kia Soul will provide a creative platform for buyers to individualise and match their car to their own personality. The World Premiere of the Kia Soul will be celebrated on 2 October 2008 at the Paris Motor Show. The exciting new Kia model is scheduled to go on sale in Europe during February 2009, with sales in the USA and remaining overseas markets beginning in April 2009.

This red kia rio came with plenty of watermarks despite the owner's efforts to apply wax once every 2 wks. Proof was is the harden white reside in almost every corner and gap. There were also some whiten parts on the car's many black claddings. Pics of the bonnet before: Luckily, the verticle panels of the car had only minor scratches and wash lines that saved me a few hours. Process as per follows: 1) Wash and clay 2) Rotary with lambswool pad with Powergloss 3) rotary with white polishing pad and PO106ff 4) Pc with orange lc pad and IP for the verticle panels. Some before and after pics: Some other parts of the bonnet: If you look at the last 2 pics, some watermarks are still visible as its not feasible to do a 100% removal as it might just thin the clearcoat way too much.

A bus driver was whacked by a pai kia. All the bus driver did was looked in the direction of the pai kia quarrelling with his gf/wife. The bus driver was stretching his legs and happened to look in their direction...... that PK was really fierce. Went to Kia Singapore website, but no information on engine codes. 2. Current generation 2.0L engines: Kia - Magentis, Carens, Sportage Hyundai - Sonata, Trajet FL, Tucson Are they all using the SAME engine? Thanks!

The Koreans nabbed the former Audi designer last year to liven up their stolid image, and already we're seeing the results of his furious scribblings in the shape of this, the Kia Koup concept (koncept, surely?) revealed at the New York show. It's the second coupe concept from Kia in a short space of time - the canary-hued Kee surfaced back in Frankfurt last autumn - and it's certainly a more mature effort. Large by European coupe standards, the Koup sits on the same platform as the Cee'd. There's plenty of Honda Civic and a touch of Evo X about the front end, but we don't mind that. So does all this concept action mean we'll see a proper production Kia coupe soon? "You don't bring a designer like Peter Schreyer in just to design 4x4s," said our Hyundai UK source. "We've got 12 or 13 new cars to launch over the next year or two, and we'd love to see a coupe in there." With the exception of a few concept touches - neoprene carpets, anyone? - the Koup sounds fairly production viable. It's powered by a turbocharged two-litre petrol engine putting out 290bhp, which sounds suspiciously like the powerplant out of the Evo X, an engine part-developed by Kia in Korea. Hello wise bros of MCF, I have a question regarding the immobiliser or rather the remote control on my Rio. It used to be when i unlock the car, the sound would be 2 beeps. I don't know what i did, and now whenever i unlock it, it is 3 beeps. Normal? Also, the red light on the right wasn't flashing before, now it is. Anything wrong with it? Quite noob in all these things.... I also realise the beige interior on the door panel seems to get dirty easily due to the plastic used, anyway to maintain it? Thanks for your responses in advance.

I dunno was it me or what but lately I kept seeing those new Silver KIA speeding down 60 kph road in excess of 80 kph. Some zig zag like zng cars. The day before saw one racing with a Latio down PIE like too fast too furious siah! I already doing 100 he still can cut like nobody business.. I think Taxi have too powerful engines liao. Should give them 660cc I think enough to get you from point A to B safely. What's the point of having a fast and powerful taxi but can't get one when you need?
