  1. Wah piang eh.. Buay tahan liao! Some drivers simply don't see the importance of the brake lights especially the 3rd brake light. Can we take pictures of these cars and submit to LTA? Not i jiak ba boh sai pang but these cars when they brake, u dont even know they brake if u r not alert! Especially without 3rd brake light. Sorry for friday rant but alot of taxis and old cars dont bother to repair.
  2. Lamborghini Huracan Taxi In a UK first, Wolverhampton council has granted a private hire car license to a supercar. The Lamborghini Huracan, worth at least £180,000 ($260,000, €230,000), will be the first taxi of its kind in the UK. The green Lambo is more than likely the only taxi you'll ever get with a five-litre engine and a top speeds of over 200mph. Admittedly, the streets of Wolverhampton aren't be the best place to put your foot down. If you think black cabs are expensive, Wolverhampton's Lamborghini might be out of your price range. The minimum charge for a journey is £349 for 90 minutes.

  4. http://www.worldcarfans.com/1160226104423/lamborghini-sesto-elemento-arrives-in-hong-kong Dunno who the rich man in Hong Kong took delivery of one unit out of the 20 units made. Called the sixth element. Weighs slightly less dan a tonne, 5.2L V10 engine, 0-100km/hr in 2.5secs. There's no luxury in it. No aircon, no stereo, bucket seats with a few padding on it. Here's a recap from Richard Hammond from Topgear... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRT1hw_-0a8
  5. Just a decade ago, Volvo "shaken" the world with the launch of it flagship SUV, XC90, touted as a premium SUV (after BMW with its X5 & Mercedes with the GL). Since then, the SUV assault continue, with Audi, Lexus, Infiniti, Porsche and such jumping onto the bandwagon, in hope to have a slice of the big pie. Last September, Bentley officially introduce it Bentayga, the world first luxury SUV, with it first customer the Queen of Britain.

  8. Yep, your read it correct I was returning from Malaysia on 17 Mar-14 around 6pm, nearing 7pm. So while in queue over at the Singapore customs side, I saw a convoy of ~ 7/8 Lamborghini's go past on the left most lane, which spirals down toward the lorries/bus/vans clearance block. Is there something about that make of cars that require them to clear customs via such a different block?
  9. World premiere of Lamborghini’s Veneno Roadster on Italian aircraft carrier Lamborghini world premiered their super sports car, the Veneno Roadster, in Abu Dhabi on December 1. The carmaker chose a very unique way to debut the car, they did it by displaying the supercar on the ‘Nave Cavour’, an Italian naval aircraft carrier. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is based on the Veneno and both the cars borrow design elements from the Aventador. The Veneno was a hard-top car whereas the Roadster comes sans the roof with only a rollover bar. This Roadster weighs lesser than its elder sibling and the Italian carmaker has made use of carbon fibre to a large extent to make it lightweight. Its dry weight is as less as 1,490 kgs. The Veneno Roadster is powered by the same engine seen on the Aventador. However, the 6.5-litre V12 engine has been re-tuned to churn out 750bhp. The super car can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top-speed of 355kmph. Just like the Veneno, of which only three units were made, Lamborghini will make only nine units of the Veneno Roadster. The fully road legal super sports car will be available for a price of 3.3 million Euros (Rs 27.87 crore) after its goes into production in 2014. Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini, said, “We are honoured that Lamborghini was chosen to represent the Italian car industry in the UAE, as a perfect example of iconic Italian super sports cars, and that we have the opportunity to show the Veneno Roadster for the first time in Abu Dhabi. Lamborghini has an extremely strong following in the region for its super sports cars, with the Middle East being one of our largest markets in the world.”

  14. A couple of years ago, we witnessed a race between a Porsche 911 GT3 Carrera Cup car and a Boeing 747 have a go at each other on Changi Airport's runway. With more than 400bhp, the Porsche managed to win the jet. Now, it seems like someone managed to get a Lamborghini Huracan and a Sukhoi Su-27 fighter jet together on a empty runway. Watch the video to find out whether a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 pushing 602 horses and 506Nm of torque, can keep up with a fighter jet. http://dai.ly/x24lfki_%D1%84%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%B6-2014-%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BB%D1%8C-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%B2-%D1%81%D1%83%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B0-fast-and-the-furious-2014-fighter-against-supercar_auto
  15. The new Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, in Midas yellow, has been chosen by Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios, the creators of the iconic Forza Motorsport racing game franchise, as the hero car for Forza Horizon 2, the studio’s latest racing game. Indeed, the latest chapter in the Forza Motorsport open road spinoff revolves around the descendant of the Gallardo. Set in beautiful Southern Europe, the videogame provides all the thrills of taking the new super sportcar's Instinctive Technology for a spin around Mediterranean landscapes, with weather, Drivatars (Xbox One's cloud-based racers that replicate the behaviors of friends and strangers to drive like real people) and endless routes. And that's just the start of it – this new game has an almost unimaginable level of detail, including a complete view of the passenger compartment. This includes the original interior, working power windows and headlights, and the luxury super sports car can even be fully customized, from the color right down to the technical specifications. As announced by the computer giant during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, Forza Horizon 2 – coming this fall exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox 360 – will offer stunning 1080p resolution graphics at 30 fps. Once behind the wheel, there will be no experience to match it in terms of open-world racing, with the stunning visual impact even more spectacular in nighttime scenes. The Huracán LP 610-4 will be playable first on Xbox in Forza Horizon 2. As we wait for the most exciting racing game of the year, the Huracán LP 610-4 is also warming up its naturally aspirated V10 engine, ready to share its style, technology and thunderous performance with gamers all around the world.
  16. From its unique architecture to its amazing skyline and eyewatering prices, the United Arab Emirate of Dubai has always done things very differently. Never afraid to flash its excess wealth, and famed worldwide for its conspicuous consumption, it’s no surprise that the local constabulary has accumulated the most exotic stable of police cars in the world. Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Ferrari and more... it’s every petrolhead’s wishlist of motoring exotica, but a daily drive from some for the lucky officers serving in the desert. We take a look at the cars that will be on your tail if you’re foolish enough to consider speeding in Dubai, the land where the PCs most certainly aren’t plodders... BMW M6 Gran Coupe Engine: 4.4 V8, 552bhp | Top speed: 250km/h | 0-100km/h: 4.1 secs A relatively tame part of Dubai Police’s fleet, but BMW’s legendary ‘M’ badge signifies there’s no shortage of power. With a 4.4-litre V8, the M6 Gran Coupe is propelled from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds, on its way to a limited top speed of 250km/h. At just under £100,000, this is one of the cheaper cars on the fleet, but rest assured those sumptuous leather seats will keep criminals comfortable. Mercedes SLS AMG Engine: 6.2 V8, 591bhp - Top speed: 320km/h - 0-100km/h: 3.7 secs As supercars go, few would deny that the Mercedes SLS AMG is a work of art, with its generously proportioned front end sweeping back to a dramatic set of gullwing doors. The Mercedes produces almost 600bhp from a 6.2-litre V8, and is capable of nearly 320km/h, doing 0-100km/h in under four seconds. Now where do the bad guys sit? Lamborghini Aventador Engine: 6.5 V12, 690bhp | Top speed: 350km/h | 0-100km/h: 2.9 secs A product of Lamborghini’s famous factory at Sant’Agata, the Aventador is striking in every way. Its rakish lines and aggressively flared arches and intakes give it a presence few cars can match. And with a massive 690bhp from the 6.5-litre V12 engine, this bull can charge to 350km/h and from 0-100km/h in a mightily impressive 2.9 seconds. But at £265,900, it’s definitely no cheap thrill. Aston Martin One-77 Engine: 7.3 V12, 750bhp | Top speed: 354km/h | 0-100km/h: 3.7 secs This is as special as they come from the legendary British maker. As the name suggests, the Aston Martin One-77 was a limited release of just 77 models worldwide. Beautifully hand-crafted materials and an obsessive attention to detail mark the car out. It’s no slouch, either, with 750bhp from a V12 and a top speed of 354km/h. The force’s accountant may be concerned at the £1,150,000 price tag, though. Ferrari FF Engine: 6.2 V12, 651bhp -| Top speed: 335km/h | 0-100km/h: 3.7 secs Practical and Ferrari are two words you rarely hear in the same sentence. The Ferrari FF is an exception, though, because it is a genuinely practical supercar with space for four occupants in a shooting brake bodystyle – the perfect choice for transporting criminals to the station quickly, thanks to its 651bhp V12 engine. Another costly addition to the Dubai police fleet. Bentley Continental GT Engine: 6.0 W12, 567bhp | Top speed: 317km/h | 0-100km/h: 4.3 secs Another British car, the Bentley Continental GT is a fine choice due to its superb refinement and quality. It’s hand-made at Bentley’s famous Crewe factory, and every effort is made to produce the perfect car, tailored to buyers’ every request. The 6.0-litre W12 engine catapults the car to just shy of 321km/h, and dispatches the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.3 seconds. Ford Shelby Mustang Roush Edition Engine: 5.0 V8, 575bhp | Top speed: 236km/h | 0-100km/h: 4.5 secs The Ford Mustang costs small change in relation to the other cars on the fleet, but doesn’t disappoint. This ‘pony car’ is more of a cobra, something its Shelby badge backs up. Modifier Roush has added even more power to the Ford, which features a highly tuned 5.0-litre V8. This pushes out 575bhp and gets the car from 0-100km/h quicker than the Bentley. It costs under a third of the price of its British rival, so what’s not to like? Whether it's for practical or publicity purposes, do you think it makes sense for the Dubai police force to run such an incredible fleet of supercars? What would the response of our tax payers be if Singapore police force attempted the same thing?
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rxW_3ZAVHcKen Block's Gymkhana series still hasn't grown old for us, perhaps because it pleases the inner child we never quite managed to outgrow. But now the world has a new challenge: Supercar Gymkhana. In this case, it's Lambokhana, as Daily Driven Exotics' Damon Fryer takes this Gallardo out for a tire-punishing spin around a homemade gymkhana course. Is it as fast as Block's rally car? No. Are the props and stunts as off-the-charts mental? Nope. Are those moving donuts around a rolling tire awesome? You betcha. Bottom line: if you've ever wanted to see a Lamborghini getting thrown around in a gnarly industrial lot, powersliding its tires into oblivion, this is your video.
  18. In line with the upcoming Beijing Motor Show in China and Jackie Chan's 60th birthday, Lamborghini took off the wraps of its one and only Aventador Jackie Chan Edition. As part of Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, Lamborghini came up with this special edition with the help of some unique titanium gray exterior paint scheme along with glossy black Nero Ade alloy wheels. Inside, a red and black theme surrounds the car and the word "long" (Dragon in English) is embroidered in the headrests and doors as a reference to the actor's Chinese name - Cheng Long. It is said that the car will be auctioned off and the money raised will be directed towards the China Film Institute's "Jackie Chan Charity Fund" which supports the development of China's film industry.
  19. Anyone who loves carbon fibre will probably love the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 CARBONADO GT by MANSORY. MANSORY practically took every non carbon fibre body panel of the car and swapped it with carbon fibre. Keen to showcase the amount of carbon fibre it has, it even leaves the centre part of the car clear. One of the biggest exterior change is its new front skirt with optimised air intakes for improved ventilation of the front radiator. Its sides have also grown by 40mm at the front and 50mm at the rear. New diffuser built into the new rear spoiler stabilises the rear at high speeds and creates surface contact pressure together with the enlarged rear wing on the rear axle also. To match its extreme look, MANSORY gave it enough power to back up its look. Fitted with two MANSORY turbochargers, new pistons, connecting rods, rod bearings, crankshaft, crank and cylinder, it now puts out a humongous 1,600bhp and an electronically-limited torque of 1,200Nm. We assume the limiter was there to protect itself from killing its gearbox! This accelerates the bi-turbo V12 from 0-100km/h in a scant 2.1 seconds. The top speed is an eye-watering 370km/h. Fast enough I hope?
  20. The Lamborghini Huracán has already obtained 700 orders during a, as yet unfinished, month-long private preview tour worldwide for VIP clients. An excellent start for the heir to the best selling Lamborghini to date, the Gallardo. The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 is powered by a 610-horsepower 5.2-litre normally-aspirated V10 engine, which allows it to reach a top speed of 325 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, placing it at the top of its segment. A candidate for 'star of the show' at Geneva Motor Show, it will be the first vehicle to be revealed at the exhibition, during a press conference given by President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, scheduled for 8 a.m. on Tuesday March 4th, 2014. The presentation will contain innovative elements -- not just the video of the supercar shot over the last few days in Los Angeles, but also the reveal.
  21. Madness cool. Need it on Gran turismo 6... DMC has released some brand new images with the impressive LP988 Edizione GT package for the Lamborghini Aventador. After it was teased just a week ago, the Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT, signed by DMC, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the tuning company releasing more images with the supercar. The model in question has received some Veneno inspired body kit, which is made out of completely redesigned front and rear bumpers, a vented aerodynamic hood, some carbon fiber body parts, a massive rear wing and some other tweaks. DMC says that the asking price for the body kit stands at 89,990 USD. The Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT has also received some engine upgrades which remain unknown for the moment but we do know that the 6.5 liter V12 engine found under its hood can produce, from the standard 700 HP (515 kW), a total output of 988 HP (726 kW). The asking price for this power hike stands at 134,530 USD, so if you’re looking for the entire kit, you should pay a total of 288,888 USD. There are also other improvements worth 64,368 USD, which the tuner will detail in the future, so if you want this upgrade kit, you should pay almost the price of a brand new supercar.
  22. Loving this DMC package for the new baby lambo! DMC has released a teaser image that shows a potential styling package for the Lamborghini Huracan. While the package is still several months off, the image suggests the car will be equipped with a carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber side skirts and a prominent rear wing. We can also see a black hood stripe and a roof-mounted air intake. There's no word on any performance modifications but the standard model has a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 610 HP (448 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.9 seconds and onto a top speed in excess of 325 km/h (202 mph).
