I witnessed this accident right in front of my eyes while standing at my office window. The Trailer rammed into the back of the dark blue Mitsubishi Lancer and pushed it for a good 10m into the first lane. Can't tell if it was a lane-switch mistake. See pics.

Both these 2 cars are very close in depreciation in the used car market. Lancer Ralliart 1.8T is 4 speed auto, 165bhp, OMV 21K Lancer 2.0L EX auto is CVT, 155bhp , new model, OMV 18K Which is a better choice? Have only tested Ralliart turbo, engine is a little rough. Power is isn't that fantastic.

I'm helping a friend to ask since he doesn't have a forum account. Is there any reliable (and cheaper) workshops in the west side that deals with Mitsubishi? He is driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EX 09 model. I wouldn't say a workshop specializing in Mitsubishi since they seem rather rare now-a-days, but he is looking for one after getting chopped by C&C and hearing horror stories from another friend whose workshop did not detect an oil leak for him. Thanks.

Was looking through SGcarmart . They only listed 1 Mitsubishi ASX model. POA somemore. Went to Mitsubishi SG website , they only have 3 models? Anyone know what happen to Mitsubishi???

As expected from my thread title, I drive a mitsubishi lancer. I'm not very good with cars specs to be honest and I've been driving this car for nearly 9 years now. I've had very few issues with the car even though I've closed nearly 300k of mileage. Is Mitsubishi not as popular as other Japanese car brands? If so, how come? Genuinely curious.

Can someone enlighten me where can I fix this onto my car? I called one of the reputable shop and the lady ask me from my car wat model and the recaro from which. When I told her she like blur. Tell me wat got this cannot mod got that cannot fit. End of the day ask me to bring down which I guess most likely will tell me cannot do and recommend me to buy their seats instead. Anyone can recommand one? Thanks

1) Expectation 80city/20 highway - 10km/L (Constantly accessing ~3k rpm) 2) with 2 child seats at the rear, can fit a 70-75kg adult in-between fairly comfortably 3) Max torque acheived =< 4k rpm. 4) rear leg room important. As I extend driver seat quite far back 5) easily available and affordable spare parts. 6) Point A to Pt B driving. 7) Cold Efficient air-con. PS : I cant afford an Altis nor a VTI, Sushi pls. Good to see an iconic Lancer in the resale market. This Lancer came in 3 models - 1.4GL (4 speed manual, without tacometer), 1.4SL (5 speed manual, with tacometer) and 1.6M (5 speed with tacometer, shared same engine as Galant 1.6). The 1.4l model was the top seller from 1979 to 1982. The Toyota Corolla 1.3 did not even come close. It was the most spacious in its class. But the *Lancer F 1.2 replacement model in 1983 was a failure and sales dropped drastically. *Refered to as 3rd generation Lancer Fiore in hyperlink below: http://jambu2011.blogspot.sg/2011/09/generation-by-generation-mitsubishi.html It came with skinny 155/80R13 stock tyres. Many owners upgraded to 175/70R13 tyres. It came without power steering and you need brutal muscles to navigate a parking lot. Power in 1st gear was non existent. Rev till 4000rpm + , and the car accelerates to 20km/h max. 4000rpm on 2nd gear gets you to 40km/h. Significant power comes only in 3rd gear. That is based on only the driver on board. Today's 998cc Perodua Kelisa can anytime beat this Lancer in a 0-100km/h sprint with minimal effort. But there is no way I will pay $23,800 for this Lancer. Grossly underpowered, hard gearshift, no driving pleasure and a fuel guzzler at 10km/l for a 1.4l N.A. engine. And you need to add lead additive during every top up. Bro ,need recommandation for the exhaust tip of my newly purchase lancer.The exhaust tip of the lancer sux man. Need to fix a exhaust tip and the car will look much nicer man . And how much it cost??? How long it take to fix it? Welding it to the exhaust is illegal right??? Thanks

Hi bros, sis, I am currently driving a latio CVT. Am considering to get a Lancer EX 1.5 Auto. But after reading the comments in the forum, it seems like the 1.5 EX is underpowered. Does any bros and sis here have experiece with the Lancer EX 1.5? And comparing the power of both latio (1.5 CVT) vs Lancer EX 1.5 Auto, are they on par or lancer is worse off ? Thanks!

Anybody care to comments? Pros and cons? Am helping a friend looking for 07 1.6 sedan with 6.2k depreciation. Currently market doesn't allow him to look at Toyota (VIOS) or Nissan (Latio) as the depreciation is ridiculously high at 8k-9k plus. Only 4 door sedan please. strictly no hatchback. Would interested to know more on Megane in terms of maintenance, fc and parts cost compared to GLX and Avante. So far, Megane has the highest OMV of 19-20K with low depreciation of 5k+ annually and 10k scrap return.

Owner /Driver of Mitsubishi Lancer weekend car SG*404Z, you left your car's headlights on. When I left Deck A2 of MSCP Blk 838A Hougang Central where your car was parked at a season parking lot at around 3pm, 11 Nov 2012, the headlights were pretty dim & car battery likely to kaput anytime. Relatives, friends, neighbours or whoever knows the owner/driver, please inform him or her or prepare to render assistance to help him or her jump-start the Lancer. The MSCP is near to the 百*果 Berri*s World of Learning School at Blk 837 Hougang Central.
