Hi all, Is it confirm that 2008 Lancer EX 2.0 GLS, doesn't come with rear disc brake? Drum brake instead? Any feedback on this ride? Any one driving it?

Hi guys, Was checking my lancer just not and discovered that my coolant level is somewhere near the low level. It is normal to drop till so fast? My current mileage is around 12k, just done a 10k service. By right, during the servicing, they should top up for me ? I seldom check the coolant level, thk once in a few moinths, so not too sure what is the last reading. Should i send to the mit workshop to check or can i top up the coolant myself? Based on my manual, there should have one reservior tank but i couldnt find it, can any lancer user guide me where it is it located ? Thanks for the help. i know i am quite noob in car maintenance. I recently sent my Lancer EX to C&C for its 40k servicing (every 10k) and was charged slightly more than $400. They also highlighted that I needed to change my Engine filter (75$) and aircon filter (75$) but I did not take up their offer as I was hoping that there'd be cheaper places outside. Can anyone recommend some places to me? Also, my warranty for the EX is ending soon so I will also need recommendations for (cheaper) routine servicing. Cheers.

Keen to buy this since its on special with 5 years warranty but I can't tell whether its the new facelift 2009 ? Lancer SX I compared the specs against the ones from C&C but also can't ascertain whether this is the newer Lancer. Hope someone here who knows a lot more about Lancer can help. Thanks

I am damn pissed with that driver when I flash back that scenario! NNBZ KNN PCB!!! While walking slowly from Yew Tee to CCK at the flyover, we were behind the Condo, green man was shown and we proceeded slowly to cross the road. Just when we crossed halfway, suddenly a car (black Mit Lancer of SGK car plate) just dashed through from it's right turning! This had caused the vehicles going straight almost crash onto it! Ain't the vehicle suppose to STOP and wait for the green light shown before making the turn? Had I not saw the oncoming car from the left, I guessed that both my wife and I will land in hospital! Luckily I held onto my wife arm and dragged her back as soon as possible! You a--hole better LEARN how to drive properly and please do not freaking endanger ppl life! Must you be freaking impatient for that 10min? I dare not to imagine if I were to bring my baby out with the stroller! To make it clear, I enclose the image for better clearer explanation. Red dot: Wifey and I crossing the junction. Cyan: The black Mit Lancer just dashed when the traffic light turn green! Shouldn't the car wait first? Why must it dash out in such a hurry?! Why is the GLX, considered an old model, priced around the same as the FORTE? Would anyone really buy the GLX over the FORTE?

Presumably, PDRM version will be in white The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has acquired 25 units of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (with manual transmission) which will be used alongside the Proton Wajas and Iswaras as patrolcars. The purchase was rumoured for some time but the PDRM did not officially comment on it and it was thought that the cars might be used for undercover purposes. High-performance models are nothing new to the PDRM and even as far back as the 1970s, the force had a fleet of 2-litre Alfa Romeo Alfettas, the first police force outside Italy to use the Italian cars. Marketed by City Motors at that time, they were assembled at the Swedish Motor Assemblies plant in Shah Alam, Selangor. Later on, during the 1980s, the police also purchased a small fleet of Ford TX3s which were used for undercover operations. The cars were unmarked and little was known about them other than that they existed. Around that time, other government agencies like the Customs also used models like the Citroen BX and BMW 318i in order to pursue criminals who had fast machines. Hi I had a habit of changing my ATF frequently.. but since i got my new ride.. i hd problem finding it in the market. anyone who know where to get the ATF for Lancer EX CVT, pls try to advise me. I had try some stockist.. but they dont carry them.. they had the SP III for the normal CVT (1.6 mode). but not the 2.0 model (2.0 model was using CVTF J1)... I had also go back to AD, but they only sell them @ 20L pack... it was too much for me.... I had check that the ATF for the toyota altis (also using metal chain) was also special.. is there any harm if i use other ATF instead of the J1? your help is greatly appreciated.
