For me, it was exactly one week ago - I had the pleasure of actually coming in physical contact with a Mk2 Octavia. Yes, I left some fingerprints all over the car. Not locally, of course. For obvious reasons. However I couldn't bring myself to take a photo of it, just in case some mistook it for a Superb (which it looked very much like at a glance....)

anyone can verify? assuming on a stock car..... mine abt 1yr 4mths liao.....milege juz above 20k. battery still seems ok leh.... but i remember someone here who need to change juz b4 1 yr old. average.....can last how long har???

My suspension is already giving strange noises. Every time go over speed bump, goes "GROCK (front), GROCK (rear)". Car is slightly over 1yr old. I heard 1.5yrs and pretty much how far they go if you travel much on those kinda roads Malaysia offers.

today jus took my ice out of my van as i changing to nissan soon... van selling off... last time i got 6.5" boss red series 400watt component speaker with tweeter cross over etc... for the amp its a formula x with 4 channel 200 watt each... and a 10" bass tube i wan to save money so i intend to use it for the sunny or should i sell it to get another set? if i using it back on the car... do i need or wat can i add to improve the sound... thanks... -
I got caught for doing 146 in an 80 kmh zone, + street racing last night in aust... There goes my aussie licence (for 2 years) and $500, but hey at least I can still drive on my singapore one... Good news is that I beat the highly modified Prelude (H22A- I got to peak into his engine bay coz the police checked both our cars for illegal mods) with my running v.rich almost stock engine (just running on an extra 0.2bar-0.7bar total boost on an S14 turbo with bigger injectors) by almost 2 1/2car lengths (over 200meters)! Betcha it would have been more if we werent caught. Disclaimer: Street racing is dangerous... leave it to the professionals Nah Seriously, I do NOT encourage street racing of any sort... just got caught up in the moment!

Would like to enquire from Zaino DIYers... How long (or how many uses) can one bottle of the following last: (1) Z2Pro sealant, (2) Z7 car wash, (3) Z6 spray, (4) ZFX? Also, how long can these be kept before they spoil (if they do spoil)? Thks!

Finally manage to send my car for 30k servicing, SA called me up and told me that my Battery is at 60% and need to be changed for the prices of $117/-, told them to leave the thing alone. Bros any idea how long can a 60% batt last? Any lobang or contact for Kalos/Aveo batt (Should cost around $70-80/- bucks right)?

Just wanna find out, how long did yr last battery last u? Pls put down the brand too, if possible. Asking coz a fren S'pore told me the Japanese batts there easily last 6-8 yrs (which I kinda doubt)... while the average lifespan of the batts here in M'sia is only around 2 to 2.5 yrs, or less, if heavily used.

(Taken from Motor Trend) The Mexican subsidiary of German carmaker Volkswagen unveiled on Thursday the "final edition" of the unique auto known to millions simply as the Beetle, which will conclude the manufacturing of this cult classic. Only 3,000 units of this special edition bug will roll off the Mexican plant's assembly line, and they will be priced at 84,000 pesos ($8,000) each. Volkswagen plans to sell 2,999 of these vehicles, but the last of the Beetles to roll off the Puebla assembly line on July 30 will be sent to its headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany, to become part of the firm's museum collection. Puebla state Gov. Melquiades Morales and Deputy Industry and Trade Secretary Rocio Ruiz attended the event. Present also were Reinhard Jung, president of the executive committee of Volkswagen Mexico and company representative in North America Jens Neumann. "Real stars know when it's time to retire, and it's well known that the public does too. This is what's happening to the sedan," Neumann said. "A Volkswagen consortium legend bids farewell with a final edition, but its disappearance does not mean it will disappear from roads, least of all in Mexico," Jung said. The automobile executive noted that the firm has made 21.5 million Beetles worldwide since the car first appeared in 1950, and 1.7 million of these were manufactured in Mexico. Volkswagen executives said the final is a "retro" edition, with little change from the first 1934 German prototype. All the "final edition" cars will be either sky blue or beige, with chrome motor and trim, whitewall tires and the dashboard and instruments will be the same color as the outside of the chassis. The glove compartment will bear the inscription "final edition" and the German firm's logo will grace the hood of the Beetle. Volkswagen has invested more than $3.6 billion in its Mexican plant since 1964. Some 10,000 people work at the Puebla plant, which is the German automaker's largest in the Western Hemisphere.
